Fantastic hotel with lovely staff and excellent food service. The only minor gripe that I had was the towels were washed out grey and the bedding was not the best. The room was also a little tired but clean.

Evening meal fair - no drinks included not even water or coffee- with hindsight I would go B&B not half board.
Outside area small but wasn’t a problem in mid-June.
Our room had a small balcony overlooking someone’s back garden and tatty buildings.

Good hotel in the area , but … Too short breakfast time 8-10, late short dinner time 19:30-21:30, poor choices for dinner, artificial cakes ,older lady in dinning area doesn’t speak English and have problem what sparkling water means , too early check out 10:00. Tiny pool with very limited spaces. Great reception staff . Nice smell in hotel areas , good size rooms .

Hotel was clean and generally a nice standard however it was very noisy. Music until midnight and then guests being loud until 2am. Reception staff did nothing to ask guests to be quiet. Nightmare for families trying to sleep.

There were so many things wrong. Firstly, the duvet was not enclosed it had a loose sheet on top followed by the duvet and then another loose sheet below it. Therefore the duvet was not enclosed, which is extremely unhygienic. The towels had stains on them and the bathroom had a really bad smell. When we confronted the receptionist and manager about the duvet, they acted clueless and gave very cold replies. The only good thing about the place was its location.

I took my Mum abroad to Lloret De Mar from the UK, it was the first time she's been away for 33 years. We absolutely loved it here, staff are very accommodating, rooms are lovely, and the food options for full board breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing. I don't know how they do it! Will absolutely be returning if the need arises. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Disappointed with the city

Unfortunately, my stay was shorter than planned. I visited Lloret and stayed in AQUA less than a full day. The city was really packed with people around their 20s, which was not the vibe my girlfriend and I were looking for, and the infrastructure was just terrible. At the end of the day, we returned to Barcelona because the hotel didn't offer parking (they only have like 8 spots) and there was just no way to find parking in the city.

I felt like the hotel staff could have informed us about this. On the contrary, they reassured us that parking would be super easy and we had to look for a place to park from 9 pm until 11 pm and then give up.

Besides, the hotel kept a loud cover of party musics playing all they long in the pool and the walls a super thin. When we left for Barcelona at midnight the music was still playing.

The hotel was for us in a good location for driving into abd out of the area. Staff were very helpful , rooms were cleaned daily with new towels. The food was very nice and there was a variety of dishes to eat. Service with a smile and happy with the choice and price.

Good lication, friendly cleaners, bar & reception staff. Nice rooms, but beware if booking a premium room, as their bathrooms have a missing 4th wall & there is a window from one of the 3 walls into the bedroom 🙈😱 Beans at breakfast are usually cold, as they are not left on a hot plate & the warm bulb above them produces less heat than a candle. However, there is a large selection of bread, croissants, cereal & salad. I'd recommend walking to Cala Banys & visiting Canyelles (If you walk around the cliffside, be prepared to go up & down LOTS & LOTS of steps, but it's worth it) 😊

Central location and great food

The hotel is very close to the pedestrian zone shopping area. The food is really good . Environment is very nice. the bus station is just 5 minutes waking distance. Cleanliness of the hotel is 100% spotless. Hospitality is great nice lobby and pool area. Receptionist are very helpful. Mini Market 20 m away from the hotel.

It requires more entertainment. Since Meat and fish are freshly cooked in the dining room upon request there is a huge smell of frying. I suggest that better extraction is a applied on the hot plate.

Nice stay but don’t agree with paying for safe

Stay was nice, small walk to the beach. Pool area was a lot smaller than expected, and pool view room was not worth view but upgrade I imagine was worth it. Don’t expect to pay an additional €4/per day for the safe in the room this I find to be extortionate.

Wonderful staff

Very comfortable, clean hotel, with a lovely pool and nice large rooms with great beds. But what was really outstanding were all the staff, both at reception, in the restaurant, the bar and the grounds. Incredibly helpful to us during a family emergency, but wonderful throughout our stay making us feel individually welcome, just sorry I cannot name them all.

Nice hotel with only a few weak points

A very nice hotel with delightful staff! They were all very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is designed very nicely, modern and clean. Lovely pool area and not too busy.

Only a couple of points weren't ideal, thus stopping me giving it full marks:

- the quality of the food at supper was not terrible, but also not great. A fair variation of things but not the greatest of quality sadly. Deserts, although. Ring colourful were horrendous and flavourless unfortunately!

- you have to pay extra to use the room safe!!

- good points are definitely helpfulness of the staff, being able to email reception and get them to print tickets for Marineland for free (thus saving entry fees), good cocktails in the evening and reasonable prices on drinks.

Would stay again!

Very good hotel and good location.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the hotel for 6 nights. We had a junior suite room which is quite big and spacious. The hotel is in good location to all shops and restaurants. 5-6 mins walking to the beach. Our room did not have a good view though. They had some working ongoing at the next building unfortunately. But overall the stay was great and the staff is excellent. They are nice and make you feel comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are awesome. My girlfriend loves seafood. They serve perfect quality food. Eduardo is my fav chef! We were very pleased to stay at our hotel. I would recommend to everyone.
P.S: The cocktails are great!

Booked full board we thought that drinks were included in the price had to pay for drinks even water!!! Every time we ordered a drink we were asked to pay for it by an annoying Spanish lady before we even finished our meal.
You have to pay for key for the safe in your room which is ridiculous for a 4 star hotel charging for a safe! Food was okay but the same meals were cooked 3 times in a row. I was not impressed sorry but this is not a 4 star hotel maximum 3 maybe eve that! We stayed one week but every single night it was to noisy.

Perfect location, supportive staff - lovely

The location for this hotel was excellent.

Arrival:

The shuttle bus booked through Expedia was easy to find, quick and we were dropped off 3 minutes walk away from the hotel.
On arrival the check in was very quick and staff member was lovely.
The room was very clean and just like the pictures advertised.
We then spent the rest of the evening in the pool which was again clean and nice.
Dinner was unfortunately a disappointment on this night. Some things were edible... very salty which is an issue when you have to pay for drinks.
We then took a very short walk to the shops nearby which are busy but clean and beautiful. We then walked by the beach which was a 10 minute walk away and watched an amazing fire work display.

Breakfast was standard. All breads and cakes were old and as hard as a rock which was not nice at all!
We walked 20 minutes to a near by beach which had some water activities. Dinner was again disappointing. Lots of places to eat around which are lovely specially for late night snacks or drunken food!

Another walk to another nearby beach 20 minutes away. It was another lovely day . Chose to get a taxi back which cost us 8EUR. Chose to eat dinner out this night at a restaurant near the beach which was past all the shops. Shopped and enjoyed the drink near the beach.

Went to the bus station 10 minutes away for a shuttle bus direct to Barcelona.

Checkout was easy and you can leave your bags and use the pool.

Apart from Reception Staff, quality was extremely poor. Food was terrible especially given I'm a vegetarian, staff had an opportunity to make it better but did the bare minimum which was quite disappointing. We stayed for 10 days in this hotel. Everything was really good, clean room, good food,(my daughter is vegan and she was very happy with the food options). Front desk and dining room personnel was very polite and happy to help and answer all our questions regarding Lorrey or excursion to Barcelona and surrounding area. After we arrived back home, I realized that I have lost all my keys, and after checking all our luggage I concluded that they are gone. I started cutting the new keys and than I got an idea to call the hotel and check to see if possibly they found them. And yes they had my keys and after I provided my address they mailed them to Canada. What else to say, but those are nice people who really care. They could easily say no we did not find them and save themself of going through the hassle. This speaks the volume about this hotel and hotel's employees. I am looking forward to go back next year and say big THANKS in person.

Stayed with 3 other friends in 2 rooms. Could not fault the hotel at all. The airport transfer had slight issue locating it but it was a minor issue, due to being in the middle of narrow streets.
Very modern, exceptionally clean, food was excellent with ample choice and quantity.
Walls of bedroom were a bit thin if you were a light sleeper and had inconsiderate neighbours.

A totally pleasurable stay.

I had a premium room with pool view and it was definitely a superior room. Excellent amount of space with a balcony with chairs and small table. The very best shower I have ever experienced in a hotel, amazing. The staff were all incredibly helpful and patient. The breakfast buffet always fresh and varied with plenty of space to sit.

The age group of guests was right across the spectrum, but most pleasing was the hotel was very quiet at night with guests all being respectful. The wifi is only suitable for email and facebook not for streaming etc.

I highly recommend the hotel and will be planning another trip soon totally delighted with every aspect.

Good for 3 stars, but not for four

First of all: never use their transfer service (it is named \"from2\"). Our trip from Barcelona airport to drop point took us 5.5 hours!!! It was awful! Bus driver passed by a place where he finally dropped us 3 times! He dropped us in 6 blocks from the hotel and just show us the approximate direction. So we had to ask police where we were and where the hotel was located. So I recommend to use \"sarbus\".

Pros: Premium room was very good and had good pool view. Mattress on the bed was awesome. Fresh renovation.
Hotel location is good.

Cons: food wasn't really tasty. It was tasteless. Fruits were disgusting. I could eat melon and watermelon only. I don't know should seafood (shrimps, mussels, etc) in paella be peeled or not but it is not cool to eat rice mixed with fragments of mussel's shell.
Restaurant staff was not really polite.
It was restricted to drink your own drinks near the pool. Even water.

Most of the guests were seniors.

A Nice Break

Hotel is fabulously designed.However,the noise is a major issue...On arrival our room was nothing like what was advertised.It was quite small ,bed were uncomfortable..Noise from the rooms beside us was like they were in the room with us you could hear everthing that was said & due to the floors being tiles every foot step pierced our ears.. The bathroom in each room had a vent that was by the bath so ever shower felt like was our shower.Our balcony was looking into another room.The breakfeast staff were very rude.The breakfeast options were poor.On the up side the pool was fab except very few loungers.Nice gym.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

We just returned from Lloret de Mar where we stayed for 10 days in Bertran Hotel. It is a fairly small hotel in the heart of the city with a very good and affordable meals plan (we took a combination of breakfast and dinner) and super friendly and helpful staff. They were super helpful and went out of their way to respond to every question and every request that we had. Everyone from the front desk to the cafeteria staff made everything they could to make our stay pleasant and were sweet and nice with our kids. Their English was limited but there were no actual barriers just some adjustment in communication.

One thing you may want to know is that some double rooms have half wall between the bedroom and the bathroom made out of glass and totally transparent so it is not a good room for adult and a child. We asked to change rooms and were immediately moved to a nice 5th (top) floor room with a more traditional style walls. There are also rooms right next to the elevator but elevators are modern so I am not sure if this is noise to be concerned about.

There were comfortable seats and tables at the swimming pool and at the bar. Everything was super clean and we felt welcome there. I would definitely stay there again if I visit Lloret de Mar in the future.

Worth more than three stars

The location is brilliant: less than five minutes walk to the coach station, the beach and cute local shops. The facilities were brilliant: breakfast included had a large variety, bar was always open, they had showers and a room to keep stuff in for after we checked out as our flight wasn't until the evening. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we kept asking hundreds of questions about places to go, prices etc. They spoke very good spanish and english and always smiled. It was big and clean. Free wifi in the bar, have to pay for other areas of the hotel but not really necessary. Only down side was that the views were of neighbouring buildings.

OK hotel, close to the beach, mostly 65+ crowd

This is an OK hotel -about 10 minutes walk from the beach, rooms are good size and the cleaning lady does a good job too. There are a lot of small irritating things though that totally spoil your experience. There are just 2 elevators in this 5-story building, they are tiny and very slow. The crowd is mostly people with average age of 65+, you might want to consider it when you do the booking.The Wi-Fi is not free (8 euros a day), the safe in the room you also have to pay to use (we didn't even ask how much and lived without it). The entrance to the parking garage is located at the end of a one-way street, but entering the garage is impossible for anything bigger than a small sedan. Lucky for us, the police station was nearby, the policemen seeing our difficulty stopped the traffic, told us to go to a crossing street and enter the garage from there.The entrance itself is very small and steep. The worst thing though is the food. We had breakfast and dinner there figuring it was a good deal since it was so cheap (about 7 extra euros a day for 2 people). They have a buffet for both breakfast and dinner, but the food is blah, most of it made from canned food, tasted terrible (it made a striking contrast with our dining in Barcelona where the food was delicious), the seafood entrees were especially bad - greasy and overcooked. Another caveat - the drinks are not included at dinner, you have to pay for EVERYTHING, including water (not cheap).The wine was also blah, except Rioja.

The hotel is not really for families

If you travel with a family aiming to get rest then it is not the place for that. The major part of the guests are young and poorly cultured guys from Germany who slip during the day, but wake up at the evenings and drink all the night. You should expect extremely noisy nights including group screaming/singing, breaking glass bottles and firing petards. The hotel security is very responsive trying to do its best though. We had to even call police one day. But it did not really help.

The location is close to the beach but the service was not so good. We had booked a double bed room instead got a twin bed one When asked for a change we got a smaller room and a smaller bed. The room was not very comfortable. \"No room service\" Was a very surprising answer we got! And the check out time was 10am!!! That too early!! All in all for the same price we had had a much better place in the centre of Valencia just a day before.

The location was good, in the middle of Lloret de mar.

The rooms were nice, better than expected from a 3-star hotel. The cleaning was perfectly made every day.

The area is quite loud, with a lot of movement and sounds from the square, and since Lloret de mar has a lot of clubs, there are a lot of party at the hotel until around 11 in the evening.

Rent værelse hver dag. Tv’et fungerede ikke med Netflix eller andet da det ikke kunne forbinde til deres eget internettet. Billig og god drikkelse i deres bar. Vi brugte næsten ikke poolen men den var fin, sov var der ikke nok solsenge til antallet af gæste (vi var der uden for højsæson) overordnet godt i forhold til prisen 👍👍

Hôtel très bien, personnel très aimable et la chambre rien à dire ménage fait tout les jours . Situation de l’hôtel excellent en pleins centre ville. Entrée du parking difficile surtout avec un suv.

Me encantó aunque solo estábamos de paso por una noche , al día siguiente mientras terminamos el check out , fueron muy amables , utilizamos la piscina luego nos prestaron toallas limpias y pudimos ducharnos para continuar nuestro itinerario . Muchas gracias

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war insgesamt sehr schön. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, besonders die Dame im Speisesaal, die stets mit einem Lächeln, viel Effizienz und guter Organisation für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt hat. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker, mit reichlicher Auswahl.

Weniger positiv fanden wir, dass die Wände recht hellhörig sind, auch wenn man sich nach einiger Zeit daran gewöhnt. Etwas enttäuschend war zudem die Reinigung, da der Boden während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gewischt wurde.

Abgesehen davon war aber alles wirklich prima und wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

On aime y revenir

C’est toujours un vrai plaisir de revenir chaque année et de revoir le personnel que nous connaissons maintenant de longue date. La chambre est spacieuse, une bonne literie, des sanitaires en très bon état. On apprécie de boire un verre au bar en mode détente et de découvrir la région au fil des années. Nous avons séjourné à l’AQUA Hotel Bertran Park le temps d’un week-end pour assister à la F1, et c’était une très bonne expérience ! L’hôtel est bien situé, Les chambres sont propres, confortables et bien équipées. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable, toujours prêt à donner des infos utiles.

Le petit-déjeuner buffet était varié et copieux, parfait avant une grosse journée. La piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre en fin d'après-midi.

Passage pour 1 nuit le lit est un peu dur mais dans l’ensemble c’est très bien !
Le petit déjeuner est très bien avec beaucoup de choix !
Extrêmement bien placé nous avons tout fait à pieds et pourtant nous aimons pas marcher !!

Horrible, vraiment à éviter.
La chef de réception Azucena n’est vraiment pas aimable et pas arrangeante du tout.
Des insectes on été retrouver dans notre chambre. En plus de sa les linges de lit était très sale (photo à l’appuie).
On nous fait changer de chambre en plein milieu de notre séjour, et si on veut garder la même il faut payer.
Cette hôtel aime faire payer tout ce qui est possible.

À éviter il y a beaucoup mieux dans les environs.

Pas très content.....

Sur la partie famille comportant une chambre et un salon avec canapé lit: Très bruyant tant de l'intérieur que de l'extérieur. Très mauvaise isolation phonique avec bruit de pas amplifiés sur l'étage supérieur et le comble un couple dans les étages supérieurs qui se sont livrés, en musique, a des actes sexuels. On avait l'impression de les avoir dans la chambre à tel point que mes deux filles ont été réveillées....Les matelas sont d'un auj
tre siècle, a ressorts et très rebondissants....(ça a du être super pour le couple de l'étage supérieur) et le matin mal au dos. Attention à la baignoire qui est très glissante et qui a provoqué une chute de mon épouse, heureusement sans gravité. On constate d'ailleurs que cette baignoire avait pas le passé des collants anti glissade qui ont disparus. C'est dangereux. La nourriture, bien que variée est très passable et surtout très salée.....Bon mainternant le personnel est super, service d'étage parfait. Personnellement je n'y reviendrai pas.
