Lynn, the desk person was wonderful and helpful, especially when the first door room key didn't work nor the tv remote. The breakfast that I found was the waffle, usual white bread/bagel and the usual blueberry muffin. The property is old and needs updating.

After driving for 7 hours we arrived around 2am, when we walked in there was no one at the front desk to greet us. There was a sitting area with the tv on and what looked like blankets and food. After about 5 mins, a lady came from the back. She wasn’t rude but not pleasant either really, just kind of there. Be aware they charge a $40 incidental fee, which I was not aware of at the time of booking. It does not state that anywhere when booking. When we got in our room, it smelled nice but after upon looking more, the room was in horrible condition. Broken drawers, burn holes in the blankets, the shower curtain was stained, exposed wires & the TV would NOT turn on. My husband messed with it for about 15 mins and we finally got it to turn on but no channels. Considering it was almost 3am this point we gave up & went to sleep. That’s when we seen a ROACH on the dresser! At that point we decided we were gone! I informed the front desk & she stated I’d get the incidental fee back in 24/72 hours! I want the entire thing refunded! Just horrible.

They are rude and unprofessional! The place is nasty and run down. The breakfast sucks. The pool and hot tub was needing a good cleaning and good luck on extra towels and rags! They won’t do the laundry because so many was coming and getting new and not reusing the ones in there room which is what they expect you to do. Most good motels have plenty but not this one! We was constantly watched just because we had 5 teenage girls and two of them was actually just coming to hang out. They left and the next morning they was trying to keep my depot just because they accused me of keeping the 2 extra teens over night and we didn’t! She was rude and disrespectful and highly unprofessional. She accused me of having a party there and I didn’t. The people that actually had a party was having pretty heated argument with another person staying there because of his teens was knocking on doors and running off. They was outside our door at 11:30pm the rude receptionist was talking to them and not one time when we opened our door did she apologize for it! She seemed to be completely stressed and not able to handle it at all! Next day we got into it because of her saying I done those things but I actually was seen

Run down. No smoke detector-broken. Broken microwave handle. Hole in wall. 1 lamp didnt work unless it was plugged in. Then to turn it off you needed to unplug it. Overall in need of remodeling.Dismal breakfast. Pool area had 1 light and no towels. Grimy oily tiles. Just somewhere we wouldn't go again.

We just spent the night at your hotel/ motel. It was deplorable, in such despair.
Our room wasn’t even suitable for anyone to enter. We checked in a bit before 2AM and entered into a war zone/ under construction or something worse!
Which stated that we got the last room at $120.00 a night.
No refrigerator, dirty walls, bad light to enter, it flickered, no mironing and board, no blowdryer.
Holes everywhere with toilet paper filled in, smelled of smoke(for a non-smoking room) everyone at hotel seemed to be smoking, toilet seat was hanging on by a thread, no basis standard essentials, except soap.
Bathroom door did not stay closed, rust everywhere, broken tile, etc. The room (s)
need attention desperately!
Even the continental breakfast was a joke, messy and nothing to offer as food. Would not eat there!
So, after all that, we do expect a full refund! We travel often and never have experienced this kind of accommodations anywhere. We will be following up with your manager and better business bureau if this doesn’t get resolved in a timely matter.

Only reason I gave it a three star is because of the water. I had trouble finding a comfortable temperature. It was is either scolding hot or freezing cold. When I did find a comfortable temperature after adjusting the knob for several minutes it only stayed that way for a couple of minutes and then it went to freezing on its own. I was unable to wash my hair and fully shower.

The front desk staff was friendly, the rest of my stay was terrible. I couldn't open the hotel room door, there was a bug in my room that kept flying around. When I went to look for the vending machine, it was in a dark corner of the pool area. This was in the evening and it was dimly lit, I couldn't see anything in the snack machine. The lobby area had a place to sit down, it was very disorderly because it appeared that somebody's items were all over. A fast food drink, clothing Etc.

The toilet was disgusting. It appears to have a lot of new paint and a beautiful new bath tub, but the lampshades looked damaged. If you want to update and look better, don’t skimp. Lobby restroom should have a new ceiling. Looks like a child painted it. Just a bit disappointing, for a quality inn.

Check in person was rude and sounded angry that I booked through a third party. She said I had to give her $100 cash or I could use a credit card. Then she didn’t return my card to me. Thankfully a friend brought it to me after they checked in.
There was no way to know what channels were on the tv except to go through each one and it was very slow to respond. Watched my phone instead.

People who smoke will appreciate the ability to relax in your room and light up without having SWAT called on you. Almost all motels shun smokers, so finding this one was a surprise. The motel is older but clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a budget motel with all the basics PLUS an actual option of smoking or non-smoking. WOW what a concept.

Just an overall gross experience....the lobby had no a/c...the front desk lady was nice but said it has been that way thru last summer...our room was worse..a/c wasnt on initially and mind u this is July..thats not the grand finale...blood stained matress, wish i could post the pics, room 223...and then the other one was just filthy....the best part about it is the refund refusal bc of their unsatisfactory facility...smh lesson learned and be warned. AVOID

well, I went by the reviews on Expedia and I don’t know who did those but definitely not someone who stayed there those giving a 7-10. rooms were rundown. I kept my flip-flops on in the room the whole time because the carpet just seemed cruddy. The continental breakfast had no fruit definitely can’t go by the pictures overall the room served its purpose. We just needed for the night to sleep pool was dirty and the hot tub didn’t work

I would not recomnend this hotel. Light bulb missing, no coffee maker, refrigerator didn't work, room phone didn't work, the toilet in the first room I was assigned would not stop running so I had to change to another room. And that's the room with all the problems above. No good internet signal, even though it was a non-smoking room, there was a burn hole in the bedspread on one of the beds. Lots of people hanging out of their rooms, loud music playing while their doors were open,

The facility was clean & in a off the beaten path so it was fairly quiet. I had just drove 9.5 hours and I reserved this motel because it had a whirlpool hot tub. Checking it out, I found it was a tub & hot, but that was it. The desk told me the jets don't work, but it heats up. There were Flies, Mosquito eaters, beetles, pollen, and other bugs floating around in it. The pool was not much better. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!! The breakfast was a waffle or muffin & coffee. If that's what you call a continental breakfast. SAD!!! never again

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The hottub didnt work either time. This time i even called a head to ask if hotub was working. I was told yes however when i checked in i was told the water was hot but the jets didnt work. So the hotub didnt work after all. The room i stayed in 208 the air conditioner did not cool veey well the door was very hard to open and close. I will not be staying here again

Check in process was long even with having already made a reservation. The lady at the front desk was kind but very disheveled looking. She never informed me of the deposit policy but based on the sloppy hand written note on the counter, I assumed it was 100.00.
The area seems scratchy, at best. The check out process was worse, the girl was sitting on the couch drinking coffee. Whe. Asked bout the “deposit” she was not sure if it was a hold or a charge or when it would be credited back. Telling me over and over, “I don’t know I haven’t been here very long”. It took 10 min to check out and give me two receipts for the two rooms I reserved.
The room was clean but we couldn’t use the a/c because of a constant loud clicking noise from the register.

We checked in for a 3 day stay. And was immediately realizing that we had got a not so great property. The staff was nice but unhelpful to all questions and requests that were given. Unfortunately they only have two outside floors with no elevator. The stairs are metal and far apart which made it hard for children to walk up. We left our trash outside our room every morning. Just to find it still there so we ourselves discarded it. Upon asking for fresh towels the worker went to the pool and grabbed pool towels for us. Which was odd. Overall it was a place to lay your head but not for anything more. The vending machine only took coins. And no coin laundry on site.

The bedding, towels & bathroom surfaces were, as far as we could tell, clean. The woman who checked us in was friendly. Beyond that…i cannot believe this place is even in business. The hot tub didn’t turn on, there was very poor lighting, but surely this area looks even worse in the daylight

Nice hotel. Good value for $ spent. Easy access, secure room, good neighborhood. Very quiet, got a good night sleep. Heat worked well, nice shower, good free hot breakfast. Nice indoor pool and hot tub, only negative thing I could say is that it's not connected to the building the rooms are in so you have to go outside to get to it, a heated connecting hallway would be a nice addition.Highly recommended, AAA+

No a local is any person who lives within a 50 mile radius not someone who lives in Covington. And I have stayed at two other London hotels which I will continue to patronize. I don't care if it is refundable.

They charge a $100 deposit to your card that is not mentioned online. The sign in the lobby said this deposit was only collected for locals. We are from 4 hours away and we were still charged the deposit. We had 2 rooms and they charged this for each room.

I'm short - it's ok, but we wouldn't stay there unless were no other options. I think my husband would have preferred to sleep in the car. I really struggled to pick between 2 or 3 stars. The hotel was very inexpensive and allowed dogs, so that was great. The gal at checking was nice, but the computer system was giving her a hard time. Check in with a reservation took 15 or 20 minutes. The room smelled very stuffy and like it was an old smoking room that hadn't had the carpets cleaned. That was a big turnoff for us. The fridge worked, but was so noisy we had to unplug it. The breakfast was there, but if you're healh conscious, there really wasn't much of anything there for you. Again, low cost, and I understand that, but overall, the room smelling really bad was a huge turnoff. We checked in at 10 pm and really got the impression another room would be the same, so we didn't ask to change rooms.

The unique thing about this hotel was the pool. Was indoor/outdoor. You swam through a wall for the outdoor portion. The hit tub wasn't working while we were there, but you could still sit in the hot water. When you book through orbitz though, it confuses the front desk and they may try and make ya pay for rhe room again. But just ahow them your receipt. There is a 100 dollar deposit. You get it back the day you checkout though as long as theres no damages and nothing is missing. Was a very relaxing stay though

When I arrived there was a group of people in the lobby area. They stopped everything they were doing a stared at us, made us uneasy to say the least. My son asked if we could leave. I entered, my kids refused despite having to use the restroom. Now the decor, if one would call it such was a mix of night time family skating rink or low budget rave from the ‘90’s. Entering there was no one at the front desk, so I went to the restroom. As I exited the restroom the group said their goodbyes and the attendant went to their post. The attendant checked me in and made it seem like there was a possibility my reservation wouldn’t work. Weird. While unloading there was a person smoking what didn’t smell like cigarettes.
We were able to cancel the next nights stay. We stayed the night as they refused a refund despite being there less than an hour. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were not. Lamps were rusty and had a thick gritty layer of dust on them. There were definitely not enough outlets. The room and bathroom were tidy but not clean.
