This hotel is under major renovation & should be shut down while the construction & various projects are being completed. The lobby & hall ways are filled w materials. The work crew started work at 6:45am. Crazy to stay open thru the project. No mention on website discription.

Had I known the place was under construction, I would have gone elsewhere. There were building materials stored throughout the lobby and other areas. The price was good nonetheless, and I could have overlooked all that. What made the place terrible, was the poor customer service. The person at the front desk in the evenings is not suited for a customer facing position. I drove up to the hotel and the first thing I see is the major construction. The second thing I see is a lady sitting out front on the building's ledge smoking a cigarette - right next to the entrance. To my surprise, this person worked the front desk and mumbled to me: \"you want a room\"? Never said \"thank you\" once in my multiple interactions with her. Pool closes at 11pm but at 10:50pm, she rudely came in and said she was closing and we had to get out. The pool has no towels but she never said a word about the towels for the pool being kept at the front desk (another worker told us after we came through dripping wet). Great customer service doesn't have to cost a company much other than good training and getting rid of folks who are not appropriate for working with the public and representing the business.

Hotel is doing major construction, half our hall was in construction, the side of the building, the lobby and parking lot full of building supplies. Dust from the work being done everywhere, room was dirty with stains from the ceiling leaking, foot prints on the floor, mattresses probably haven't been replaced in 15+ years. The only positive was the pool was decent. Would not recommend staying here. Maybe once they finish construction and update everything it will be better but at my stay it was one of the worst places I have stayed in.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS \"HOTEL\" we drove 9 hours to this property. As we pulled up a car next to us was angry throwing his bags into his car. He said I wouldn't stay here place is full of bedbugs and roaches he let us look at his room and sure enough bedbugs. I booked this place with Expedia and they said they would contact the property and cancel my reservation. Than they said they can't reach anyone at the desk. We had to back track an hour for a different hotel with 3 kids and a dog at 1am. I was told that they are trying to contact the property I even tried no answer. That was May 23rd. It's now June 5th and I was getting frustrated and got a hold of Expedia they FINALLY got a hold of someone named Andy and said they are declining my refund request. So I called myself SECONDS after learning this and apparently Andy isn't in. The lady said they have no bed bugs because no one has complained. The reviews it's self should be a big sign. I wish I would of read the reviews before booking this hotel. They still refuse to give me my money back.

There was a used condom left in the trash, dead bugs in the window, the tank to the toilet was cracked and leaking, and the TV only worked on one channel, the pool/hot tub were open but had to be unlocked and they didn't have the heat turned on in them, it took 2 hours for the hot tub to get hot, I asked for a new room and they were not very friendly about it and made me stay in the original room, would not give a refund and I couldn't afford to stay anywhere else.

This place was just strange to me. The tv was mounted on the wall so we couldn’t hook up the laptop to stream movies from it. There was no pool towels we had to get them at the front desk. The bathroom at the pool was just gross. Shady people hanging out. However love the lady last night she was super sweet and very helpful. The boy this morning was super nice too. I just don’t think I will be back personally.

So upon arrival we checked into our hotel and had to keep our door open and unlocked for over an hour because we had no room key. we also had to go spend our own money to buy cleaning supplies to clean the floors and shower and sink in our room. my daughters socks instantly turned black when we put her down in the room and let her walk around. the flooring in the room is layed incorrectly and has large gaps all over in it.

After calling ahead to confirm the hot tub was working, I was told the hot tub is working but when we got there the water was cold. Also several cars pulled up with loads of kids who were not guest of the hotel to use the pool. They were there for hours. Pizza crust all over the floor, covered in bugs. That’s how long it’s been there

Weekend family get away

When we checked in and went to the room. I didn't realize it was a smoking room. They had holes rips in blankets sheets towels.
The tv wasn't working. Then the 2 ladies tried to fix the tv. I guess ppl is living there. Of the ladies husband came knocking on my door wanted 2 know why his wife was in my room with the othe girl but my fiancee was in the room with me. Very scary. I did tell the front desk the ne t morning but they acted like they knew who we wss talking about. Cause i guess they lived therevor staying there. Cause the man said his wife knocked on here door. Then came into our room to fix the tv. We had no remote to the tv had to bring us one. Then they would've give us any extra towels or rags bc we had 3 children with us. They finally the next day gave us extra towels and rags. They gave u 3 towels and 2 rags. We had 3 kids and us 2. Then the pool is indoors but outside of the building. The pool water was freezing. The hot tub wasnt hot like a hot tub water should be. The room had hot water better then the hot tub. The breakfast was okay. Then the room was dirty. We had a dirty wash rag in the drawer.

We called ahead of time and confirmed that the pool and hot tub were open and working. Once we got there we were told the pool is closed and hot tub only had cold water. I was scheduled to stay here a week. I stayed 1 night only because I couldn’t make other arrangements that were pet friendly until the next day. The bathroom had mold. The heater/ac couldn’t be used because it looked like it had caught fire previously. So we had to deal with a hot stuffy room all night. The noise was awful throughout the evening and night. I will never use a Choice hotel again. This was the second time in as many nights I had to find another hotel due to misrepresentation.

The rooms smelled like dirty diapers, burn holes that went through the blanket and ALL the sheets. Makes a person wonder when they were changed last. A drugged out person asked me for money twice in the hallway. Heard a man yelling as I was leaving and told the front desk about it and was told oh yeah he fights and argues with himself all the time. Asked for the channel line up and was told I couldn’t have a copy of it but I I just told her what channel I was looking for she would find it for me.

Not good at all! I called ahead to see if they had a hot tub and if it was working. They told me yes. It wasn't very warm nor would it turn on. The room didn't have toilet paper. Looked like they sprayed cleaner on the sink and never wiped it off as i took my finger and wiped the spots off. Pillows were very flat and extremely uncomfortable. Disappointed is an understatement!

The front desk clerk was unfriendly and unhelpful. He did not smile, explain anything, or even acknowledge my presence.

We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep, so stayed in spite of the vaguely dirty appearance. I woke up in the morning covered in huge bug bites. Overnight the hotel was LOUD: people yelling, doors slamming, and loud music. If you plan to take the kids swimming, this is not the place for you. The pool was green and between the hotel and the pool was a parking lot filled with people drinking and smoking.

The positives: there was a nice breakfast and the coffee was good.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

When you first walk in your hit in the face with a cat spray stench covered by a Walmart automatic air freshener. I was given a key to a room that wouldn't unlock, the front desk guy had to try the key himself then gave me a key to another room. The other room had crumbs on the floor next to the beds, sticky cup rings on the night stand, poop splitter on the toilet, soap scum all over the shower, burn holes on the bedspread of a nonsmoking room, it was a dirty room and i wasnt about to have my 81 yr old papaw stay in an unclean room. I went to the front desk to let the guy know and he gave me another key to another room. The 3rd and last room I looked at had stains on the bedspreads and the bathroom wasnt clean. I took my registration card and key to the front desk and because no one came to the desk to help. I called Expedia who connected me to the hotel and the guy said he wasn't refunding me because I didn't like the rooms, he says the rooms were clean. I have pictures proving they weren't clean. I was not risking exposing my elderly papaw to that nastiness and possible COVID exposure. If the toilet isn't clean I highly doubt they're sanitizing anything. I would like Expedia to contact me since the hotel doesn't want to make this right.

Disappointing for the money

The room was clean but my tv did not work. I told the front desk and was assured it would be fixed. Nobody came and the next morning it still didn’t work. The new front desk lady said the other girl must not have felt like putting the code in for my tv. She said she would tell the manager but didn’t offer anything off my bill. The door had a large gap underneath and I could hear every conversation from people in the hall. The bed was clean and comfortable. I probably would not stay here again.

When I checked in I was told that someone was already checked in with my name. Took apart a hour for them to figure it out. I'm still not sure it was ever really fixed in the system. Not even one apology for the inconvenience. The room was disgusting and had feces on the bathroom wall.

The guy who checked me in was on his phone texting so took forever to get checked in. Sheets and blankets were dirty on both beds staff didn't care. The shower was dirty. The room smelled bad. I had a pet with me and they over charged me by one day. I stayed 2 nights and was charged for 3. Refused to give me a refund.
