Constantly hears the freeway noise. Air conditioner was noisy and the breakfast was cold served. Only 1 elevator to access all floors was a bit of a wait. Lounge chair was very stained and gross. Not sitting in it at all. Bathroom is a bit tight. Property constantly smelled of smoke and the doors propped open for frequent employee smoke breaks right close to the entrance.

I loved this stay at the Baymont. I was not feeling well at one point. I asked the staff member if they had Tylenol. He said - yes. He said yes, he had stuff. Arrived at desk and sure enough he had all sorts of stuff.
I very much appreciated this customer service!
My one regret, I was not able to use the pool. This was entirely on me. I do appreciate that it was available for my use.

I am not sure how this hotel got all the high ratings when me and my wife both agreed that it was slightly BELOW average at its best.
Cons: The location itself was very dated. The toilet in our room was very old and loose to the floor. It made so much noise when flushed that we decided to not flush it in the middle of the night as to not wake the other person. The in-room safe had no key so we couldn't use that even though I would have liked to. Seating are for breakfast is very limited so we got stuck taking food all the way back to our room.
Pros: Very convenient to the expressway, gas, food and retail shopping if you need it. Plenty of parking including an overflow lot for larger vehicles. The food choices for breakfast were good with plenty of options. The staff is really friendly and the location was clean despite being dated.
Would I stay here again should my travel plans take me through Corbin Kentucky? Probably not.

Very close to the highway, it is good if you need to spend the night without driving in the city. Clean room. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. We had to leave very early in the morning, so breakfast wasn't avaliable yet, but a gentleman kindly gave us a couple of donuts to go. Thank you

When we walked into the lobby, there were three men drinking alcohol around a table. One of them had no shirt on. The clerk was sitting with them. The men were swearing and laughing. The clerk got up and she was friendly so that was encouraging. But the three men left and gathered around some more men outside, around a car. They were still laughing and drinking. We didn't feel very good about leaving our car in that parking lot.
The lobby stunk and it was filthy dirty. Our room stunk, and it was incredibly dirty. the toilet was lopsided sitting crooked. The floor was soft in many spots. our sheets were paper thin and they had burn marks in them from an iron. again the room stank it was old beat up dirty and horrible. Our room was two doors from the main lobby and we heard noise throughout the night. There is absolutely no reason for this hotel to still be standing. At the very least it should be condemned. I heard a man complaining to the lobby clerk and said that it took him 5 minutes to come down three floors in the elevator. She told him it was okay it was just slow. Again this place should be condemned. It has absolutely no business being on the Expedia list.

We stayed here overnight on a long drive from FL to MI, so did not try the pool or anything - just needed a place to sleep! The front desk staff were very nice and the lobby was decorated for easter, which was cute. The hotel is definitely dated, which does not matter, just an observation. For the price we paid, I am more than okay with spending a night in the 1990’s! The only problem we had was despite most things being clean and orderly, a couple small things were concerning and may have warranted a call down to the front if we were spending more time there. The electrical outlet near the sink in our room looked like the last guest had almost caused quite the fire, and the air vent on the bathroom ceiling looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last renovation (pics attached). The desk in our room was also one gust of wind away from collapse, but whatever. Would definitely stay here again, but would not plan on plugging in my flat iron in the morning.

Smoke detectors are needed in stairways to help enforce no smoking. We had to use the stairs multiple times from the third floor during a power outage. (Outage was not related to the property, it was widespread due to a storm. The stench of cigarette smoke was too much in the first exit I tried and I didn’t use it. It was 100% dark anyhow. Of the three stairways I utilized while loading car from third floor there was only ONE light between the second and third floor. Totally black otherwise. Very unsafe. I believe lights are required in emergency exits to work even during a power outage. Only reason I didn’t give this stay a “5”. Staff very friendly. Rooms and property very clean. Felt very safe. Would stay again. With a flashlight. 😉

The hotel is not bad, the rooms are good, clean, and don't stink. The sheets are clean. I'm giving it a lower rating because it's still like the Stone Age. You need coins to do your laundry. Oh my god, we're living in the 21st century. You still use coins on washing machines. You can't pay with a card, and I urgently needed to wash all my clothes. I'm constantly on the road. You should have installed a wooden washing machine and water so I could just wash by hand. And you have a TV in the room, it seems. It's just for the sound system. You can't turn on the sound with the remote you left there. I understand that it's not the TV that can do anything. There's no sound. It's barely on there, on the minimum setting. So, it seems like you have a washing machine just for the sake of having one, and a TV in the room just to make it look like you have one, but it's impossible to use. I have to have a wad of coins for the washing machine because I'm living in the 18th century again, and the TV has no sound and you can't turn it on with that remote.

I stayed here for 2 nights... Super nice staff. Complementary breakfast is always stacked... Not just coffee and bagels. I had eggs pancakes bacon/grits (different days). They also had coffee tea and hot chocolate. Rooms are clean and safe. Location is right by the highway. They have hot tub and small swimming pool too!
All in all a great choice for a night stay or just unwind on a weekend. Totally recommend!

Its an okay hotel. There were things to like, the pool and hot tub were great. I think my problem was more I am just a picky/light sleeper. So for me the biggest issue was noise. The hotel is right beside the off ramp for that exit from the interstate. So there was constant truck noise, I think their breaks as they are trying to slow down on the ramp. Then just the sound from the room above. Some hotels do this better than others and sometimes the people above you are just rude and that's not the hotels fault. But still the floors seemed very thin. Even when we walking in our room I felt like I could hear the echo and vibration. But look it's an affordable place, nothing was really wrong per-se, if you are a deep sleeper and don't struggle with some noise this hotel may be just fine for you. I mean here is the thing, in Corbin I noticed all the hotels are basically right beside the interstate, so they all may struggle with noise. So you have to just pick one and go with it and overall this place was fine and a good value for the money.
