Nice hotel and great staff. The young lady at reception arranged tours and was very helpful. There's only one restaurant closeby that serves dinner. For other meals and supermarkets, walk 20 mins to centro so location is not that great of you don't have a vehicle. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

There were no heater in my room even the temperature was going down to 47F at night. I was not able to sleep well because of being cold.
And lot of noise was heard outside my room which also made me awake frequently. It was a terrible night.

The staff was very kind, it was clean. However the beds or mattress are so hard. The pillows are also hard, not really pillows. It was hot and humid I'm room. Had to keep window open all night for fresh air, with open curtains and room was besides a office I believe.. Staff will pass by my window, and since my curtain and window was open, I would jump occasionally.

El personal fue muy amable. El hotel es un hotel que responde a las estrellas que tiene. Lo que no me gustó es que el pasillo de las habitaciones tenía muy mal aislante de ruidos. A las 6 de la mañana se escuchaba todo lo que hablaban los que salían de las habitaciones (por cierto poco considerados ya que siendo tan temprano podrían haber evitado hablar fuerte), se escuchaban las llaves de abrir y cerrar las puertas y los portazos. Descansar cero!

La ubicación al centro no es muy lejos, tampoco muy cerca (yo diría 1km). Así que el servicio de desayuno la verdad fue una gran ayuda, ya que creo que la mayoría de personas prefieren tener algo en el estomago antes de salir y frenar al aire fresco o frió de Patagonia. Los personales son muy simpáticos. Si necesitan algo te pueden llegar a facilitar, como tijera o secador de pelos. Si bien el desayuno empieza a las 7 y termina a las 10. Pero como muchas excursiones empiezan temprano, también es posible pedir para poder desayunar una hora antes por ejemplo.

Quizás la única cosa que podría mejorar es TV. Si bien tiene el aparato, pero la recepción del cable es tan pobre que ni vale la pena de intentarlo (solo podía recibir 2 canales, y los 2 están con lluvias que no se aprecian el gesto de los actores). El primer día de mi estadía podía conectar al Netflix, pero al día siguiente el aparato para conectar al Wifi ya no está. Personalmente no lo pedí a personal el aparato de vuelta, entonces al menos si piensas llevar un cable HDMI y proyectar tu notebook a TV o un pen drive, la verdad es que no hay mucha utilidad la TV.

Salvo esta pequeña inconveniente, yo le recomendaría a todos que están buscando un buen estadía con un precio más accesible y un buen desayuno (tampoco sirve el almuerzo o cena como algunos otros hoteles de la zona, eso hay que tener en cuenta, menos mal que en El Calafate no falta buen lugar para comer y beber)

The check outs are generally early here so 10am is not that different, just was a bit early for us. No problem, it is clear from beginning, we asked for some extra time and could not get it. Walking distance to the center, maybe 10 min, there are plenty of restaurants and travel agencies there. Breakfast was good.

The only downside was the booking said we'd have a mountain view and we didn't but the room was very comfortable so that made up for it. We would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, not far from the bus station, and about ten minutes' walk from the town center (downhill going there - uphill on the return!). Slightly difficult to find initially, as there are no road signs. Helpful and knowledgeable receptionists.

This place is awesome!!! Cristina and her husband are the best. The hotel has all the basic amenities snd is located in a nice quiet place about less tgan a kilometer away from downtown. The customer service here is amazing! I stayed here for four days. The hotel staff happily store your excess food, heat it up and serve it to you in a nice plate the next day. Cristina always jumps on the opportunity to help you with your reservations or with ordering food from good locations. She saved me money by finding inexpensive options for a few requests. This is a small family run hotel. Do not miss the experience. It is good!

Everything was great at check in, the room is very nice and warm, comfy bed. However when time to check out came, they told me they didn't accept AmEx which caused me a bit of trouble as I didn't have any other credit card on me... The lady I dealt with had a bit of an attitude about it as if it were my fault that expedia accepted my reservation with an AmEx, when the mistake was clearly hers....

The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the centre of El Calafate and 15 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The front desk staff, particularly Christina speak very good English and are most helpful with travel advice or any other questions. The simple breakfast consists of cereal, bread, croissants, tea and coffee which is adequate.

Neat, clean, warm place in cold Patagonia. The service and attention were excellent as were the breakfast provided. The only thing negative you could say about the place is it's location which is a bit off the central part of town. Then again El Calafate is a tiny place and you only have to walk like ten minutes to reach it's main street from the hotel. Overall excellent experience.

I took this hotel based on the review saying that Christina the innkeeper was very helpful in arranging excursions. Her advice and kindness did not disappoint. That being said, just make sure that innkeeper, a very comfortable bed,fair breakfast, and nice staff are worth a walk up a steep hill and then some. We got used to it, you may not! There are some fair restaurants up on the hill nearby as well.

We had to make a few changes to our reservations and they were very helpful. When we needed help with a hotel in another town they gladly phoned for us and got everything straightened out.

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is very far from everything and far from town. We have to take taxi to and from town. It is so inconvenient. We tried to walk from hotel to town and it took us about 25 minute and there are lots of dogs around. Do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean and it is located a 15-20 minute uphill walk from the main street. Cold breakfast is basic. Staff is friendly but the hotel manager is not. Very strict and arbitrary rules about the use of common areas and food. Table sitting area opens at 7 am, but if you have an early tour (some start as early as 5.30 am) you are not allowed to use it, and you are also technically not allowed to eat in your room. Ridiculous in my honest opinion.

Pretty hotel. Too far from town and up steep streets. Requires paying taxis to get back after a tiresome day. Does not have restaurant and only one nearby is full often.

Unkind female owner made our stay unpleasant. Confiscated our food prohibiting us from preparing our lunch box in the room. Only hotel in the world I know that forbids food in the rooms...

Do not recommend this hotel too expensive and not worth it. Many better and cheaper hotels in town or closer to town. No such thing as \"mountain view\": awful view.
The lake view is very nice.

Male owner is kind unlike his partner.

Hotel itself is nIce. however, female owner was unkind and made our stay unpleasant. Her partner was kind when there. Only hotel on earth that \"prohibits\" food in the rooms! The lady owner insisted in confiscating the food we had bought to make our packed lunches the next day! rooms too hot but nice. There is no \"mountain view\" is more a \"desolate paddock and construction of buildings and road \" view. The rooms on lake side do have a great view.
Hotel is far from town and up a steep road: exhausting after a day touring or trekking and cost of taxis ends up increasing substantially the price of a room. Can't forget to do something in town. Don't recommend it! Cheaper and better hotels in town. Tried to cancel a 4-day stay but lady owner would not allow it without charging full cost.

Nossa estadia foi boa, atendimento muito simpatico, o ruim é so que nos colocaram num quarto terreo bem proximo à recepção, onde logo pela manhã fazem muito barulho e vc não consegue dormir um pouco mais. O atendimento é impecável. No entanto, os quartos são bem antigos e há uma janela sem nenhuma cobertura, o que prejudica muito o descanso, pois é dia até 22h e amanhece as 04h nessa época do ano. Além disso, não há isolamento acústico entre os quartos e corredores, que faz com que vc escute todas as pessoas entrando, saindo, batendo portas e conversando em todos os cantos. No mais, os atendentes sao muito simpáticos e solicitos, e você acaba fazendo amizade nas áreas comuns, onde as pessoas se reunem. Não é perto do centro, e durante a caminhada há uma ladeira bem considerável. O taxi entre o hotel e o centro varia entre $1.200 - 1.600 pesos argentinos. Como a hospedagem em Calafate é bem cara, valeu o custo beneficio.

Really nothing special. Sobre and oldish hotel. As the WiFi password will tell you the hotel was founded in 2013, you will also notice nothing In the hotel has changed eversince.

There are 2cm gaps under the door ensuring you will wake up with the earliest guests walking around, no airco and old matrasses. Sobre interior. Receptionist was nice and helped us with getting a taxi.

Breakfast very poor. A pre packed supermarkt muffin and a toasted bread without butter or anything.

Come on guys, you can do better. Other than that, for 50USD in this region it’s fair.
