We had a good stay, hotel is very well located, right in the center of the town. We visited for 3 nights at the end of March. Rooms are clean, and very warm. When I booked we couldn't find double rooms anymore though, so we ended up with a twin. Breakfast is not very varied and mostly sweet, but after spending 3 weeks in Argentina I realised that it's normal.

But overall we felt safe in the area, we could walk everywhere, and staff was friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful entrance and lobby, and located very convenient to restaurants and shops. Would have rated it higher except for two things... My shower was not much bigger than 6 sq ft. And the breakfast was very minimal and the breakfast area was not heated and very cold.

The hotel is great, it all depends on the room you select. I had stayed here several times, and I had great rooms and basic rooms. The location is great, and the staff is super friendly. My only complain is (stupid complain) that they need to upgrade those toaster machines in the breakfast room - they do not work and they do not toast the bread...hahaha, honestly! Other than that, it is a great place to stay.

This was our second time staying at Quijote. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Especially helpful in arranging confirmations of cab service to the airport when our travel plans changed. The location is a minute or so from the main street and easy to get to. Will not hesitate to stay there again.

Quite an established hotel with many wings and a lovely ambience located 1 block back from the main street. We rented a car at the airport and were able to park it almost at the front door for our one night there. The room and bed were lovely and comfortable. Bathroom was cozy but well appointed. Breakfast was adequate. Best part is its location - so walkable, and restaurants everywhere in easy reach up and down the main street.

The hotel is in a great location, but it seems like it is next to a bbq/parrilla restaurant and the smell of bbq at night is too much, at least from my room. The breakfast needs improvement, everything is cold, toaster do not heat the bread, they need new equipment. It is nice that breakfast is at 6am, so you get to eat something before going in a tour.

This hotel has a very convenient location, 1 block from shops and restaurants. Rooms are quiet and clean.
The lobby is attractive. Breakfast is fine.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our rooms were a bit stuffy and too warm. We could not regulate the temperate and had to open a window to bring the temperature down to a comfortable level.
It would have also been helpful to have electric plugs next to the nightstands to recharge our phones.

Hotel is in a great area. It is a block away from the Main Street and walking distance to all the restaurants. The room was clean but had few outlets and lights. Also I had a room with two double beds. The beds were very small and narrow. They were like the first “big boy” beds I got my kids when they moved out of the crib. The staff was not that knowledgeable. I asked them to make a reservation at a restaurant for me and had to remind them three or four times over two days. When I got to the restaurant they did not have a reservation in my name.

Only there for one night in transit to Ushuaia. Town is dominated by hostels and Quijote is one of only a handful of hotels in the centre. Rooms quite old fashioned and a bit dark with limited Spanish TV but internet access was good. Staff very helpful and provided European phone chargers for us. Check out is at 10 but the hotel will look after your luggage and permits you to stay in the lounge and use the facilities until you leave. Our brief stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is right in town, making everything extremely walkable. The staff/service are extremely friendly and helpful! Our only complaints are that the birds outside our room would start screaming (seriously it sounded like screams) around 5am and the breakfast was pretty mediocre. Other than that, it was great!

No elevator to go at our room. No help to carry our loggages. Stairs to go at our beds ( still no help !!). The room was old and dark. Not the same as the photos on intetrnet. Wifi was slow all over the hotel. We did not have for our money ($110.00US/night we pay for this room. )

En las habitaciones se escuchaba todo! Estuve en un segundo piso y escuchaba a los de la habitación superior caminar porque crujía todo, además la ducha sonaba como una cascada. Se escuchaban a las personas hablar en el pasillo constantemente y golpes que nunca supe de dónde salieron. No es un lugar apto para descansar.

We went to sleep and the temperature was uncomfortable We opened the window as there was a bar heater that was off and it was the middle of the night and thought that was the only way to cool the room. We mentioned this at front desk in the morning and the receptionist was loud and aggressive telling us why didn’t u ring is as there is central heating that we would have adjusted. Having a heater in the room we didn’t think there was another system and also didn’t appreciate the way we were spoken to

The hotel had decent facilities and friendly, English-speaking staff, and a good breakfast. You're a short walk from the main street in town with restaurants, shops, tours operators, etc. Only thing to be aware of is that its an older building, so the walls are thin. I could hear everything happening in the room next door.

Quijote is located in the central area of El Calafate. It'sjust off Av.del Libertador General San Martin so you are near much of the shopping and restaurants in El Calafate. We went to the El Cucharon around the corner and had a great dinner. The room was nice, but small. They could really use a couple of outlets for charging. The breakfast was on par for what you expect in Patagonia.

Overall glad we stayed there---Hotel Quijote worked very well

This hotel is centrally located to bars, restaurants, etc. The staff is very friendly and ready to assist. I would have liked the lobby to have brochures of local tours rather than be told to walk down two blocks to a tour guide office. I regularly don't watch tv when staying at a hotel, except at night. Unfortunately, none of the channels worked so there was no reason to have a tv in the room. The one thing that I did not like was the Internet connection. I literally had to log on more than 30 times e every 5 minutes. The connection is weak and undependable.

Great hotel but load music all night

The hotel itself was perfect, good location a block off the main Street, nice inside and great staff. But you could hear the bass of music all night in the room, we stayed a Tues and wed, and left at 5am and you could still hear it. The rooms are warm so you leave the windows open, but we closed them to try to soften the music, so we were hot at night. We should have left the windows open, we hardly slept anyway.
There was a festival going on, so I'm not sure if it's always that loud, but the front desk told me the festival music ended at 1am. The hotel was great but I'd stay farther from the main Street (San Martin), the town is pretty walkable.

El hotel muy lindo, las zonas comunes son comodas y la atencion del personal siempre amable. Sin embargo, en la habitacion habia elementos que necesitaban mantenimiento. Por ejemplo, la puerta del closet estaba siembre trabada y desalineada del riel, lo que hacia casi imposible abrirla. El techo del baño tenia manchas de humedad que se notaba que eran de hce mucho tiempo, y la ducha es supre incomoda. Es una ducha de 1m metro X 1 metro en la que es bastante incomodo bañarse.

Si pagas en efectivo te cobran a 285 pesos, pero si te recibem el dolar es 150 pesos, te convie, solo llevar dolares en efectivo, si no pierdes siempre.

Muita má vontade no atendimento.

O hotel é bem localizado e por isso o preço acima da média. O café da manhã é fraco, o quarto é bom mas a decoração antiga. Porém, tudo isso seria facilmente perdoado se houvesse boa vontade dos funcionários em ajudar. Fiz reserva para casal e nos colocaram em quarto com camas de solteiro. Avisei que estava errado e me disseram que não havia quarto para casal disponível naquele momento. Pedi para juntar as camas disseram que não podia. Como minha estada não era curta, pedi para nos trocar assim que possível. Me disseram que ia ter que pedir todos os dias. Ou seja, uma má vontade sem igual. Péssimo. Pelo atendimento ruim, não volto e nem indico. Tem um hotel melhor, mais ou menos na mesma faixa de preço, a duas quadras de distância chamado Pousada Los Alamos, com outro nível de atendimento e cordialidade.

lamentable argumento.

tuve que ir a turismo a reclamar. Me cobraron el iva y dijeron que no podían descontarmelo porque no podián comprobar que era extranjera. lamentable argumento, les dije que tenían mi pasaporte, pero insistieron en que si no lo abonaba con tarjeta de crédito, no podían comprobar que era extranjera.
Escribí a la gerencia una nota para quejarme y nunca se dignó a responder, estuvimos tres noches.
la única solución que tenía era poner una denuncia en la comisaria.
en fin, ya saben si no pagan con tarjeta les van a penalizar con el iva, que no podran desgravarse pues no estan acogidos, tampoco al tas free.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, a una cuadra de la calle principal donde es la zona turistica. No se necesita carro para trasladarse en la zona turistica pues todo esta accesible a pie. O hotel é muito bem localizado, próximo das lojas e restaurantes do centro de Calafate. É muito bonito e aconchegante. O atendimento é excepcional. Os quartos, em dois níveis são amplos, confortáveis. A escada que leva da entrada, pequeno hall e banho e leva ao quarto no nível superior pode ser um pouco incomoda para pessoas com dificuldades de locomoção e puco práticas para o uso do banho .

Todo muy bien: instalaciones cálidas y limpias, muy buen servicio del personal, cerca de todo en la ubicación. Lo regular es que tuvimos que se escuchaba bastante cuando otros entraban a su habitación o sonidos de un cuarto a otro, pero nada grave. Lo que no condice con el buen nivel general es la (Poca y repetitiva) variedad del desayuno. Pero es lo único, volveríamos.

概ね満足できるホテル

周辺のホテルの中では規模も大きく設備も整っており、概ね満足できた。気になる点をあえて挙げると以下のとおり。
・ベッドが小さい
・エレベーターが無い

Decepção TOTAL

O hotel é muito bem localizado e isso facilita bastante os passeios pela cidade.
Porém, a cama de casal que reservei, era na verdade, 2 de solteiro que foram juntadas, o que fica muito desconfortável.
Banheiro sem ventilação.... nem preciso falar os problemas que isso traz!
Café da manhã, muito aquém do \"status\" que o hotel se intitula... muito fraco mesmo!
E para fechar, pedi um late check-out, após 7 noites de hospedagem, e apesar do hotel estar praticamente vazio, foi negado.... ou pior, queriam me cobrar pelas poucas horas.
Decepção total. Não retornaria e, não indico!
