Wonderful staff! Great location and plenty of parking. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties! Also enjoyed access to the jacuzzi, which helped after a long day. Only downside was you can hear a lot of the noise from outside. We were able to sleep through it once we fell asleep though. Would highly recommend.

The hotel has a fantastic location close to everything, staff so friendly and the property is Ok, the room did not have A/C and we fortunately had warms days but sleeping was tough also was so noisy, they were having the Lago Fest and we can hear very close all the crowd and music until midnight, breakfast was good too

Very nice staff and the location is good with a huge caveat: there's a house across the street with multiple dogs barking all day and night. There's lots of stray dogs in El Calafate and so every time they walk by its a concert of barking. Our first room was facing this house and the hotel couldn't did move us the first night, but did the next night. Bikes on property were easy to get. Breakfast was simple but good enough. The gym was nice. Easy walk to the main strip. Rooms could definitely use a refresh as they're definitely getting a little aged.

Worst ‘4 star’ hotel we have stayed at, poor customer service and terrible room.

Room was the noisiest place, constant sound from room above, corridor and from rooms either side. Absolutely no sound proofing! Also had noise from possible a generator/water heater not sure but again so loud and constant. We got barely any sleep, room was too hot and with the window open to try and cool it down the noise from the busy road and neighbourhood made everything worse. No air conditioning and even when we turned the heating down the heater was still pumping out hot air.

There was no effort from staff to help when we said we were leaving a day early as couldn’t manage staying for another night. No compensation either, this place is definitely not a 4 star hotel - probably the worst we have stayed at all holiday.

Also for other knowledge spa is only open 1pm-9pm so no chance of you arrive late - so do not book this relying on that. Again not like other 4 star hotels when they are open 7am-10pm…

The internet was basically non-existent again very shocking for a supposedly good hotel, when we got better on Easter Island!

Restaurant had very poor customer service and slow. Initially walked in, nobody was around. Then after checking with the waiter we were given wrong information about the menu so ordered something we couldn’t eat! As it was late we didn’t want to wait another 30 mins to be given different food so all we had that night was soup…

Do not book here expecting 4 star!!

Pleasant and comfortable rooms, although definitely not soundproof so bring your ear plugs. We liked the location, steps to Main Street where all the businesses are. I would have liked the staff to be a bit friendlier / warmer, especially the front desk staff, but I don’t have any major complaints. Honestly I’d say this place is over priced no doubt because of its location but it’s a solid option.

We enjoyed our stay at the Parque Hotel. It’s very close to the high street in El Calafate, with plenty of restaurants and shops which are all within walking distance. Breakfast was the main highlight - there’s a good variety of savoury and sweet foods, as well as local specialties. Our room was clean but unfortunately quite small and so was the bathroom (to the point that you can hardly turn around) so I would recommend a superior room if you’re looking for more comfort.

Great property in a great location! We were able to walk the town end-to-end and felt the hotel was very central with lots of dining options nearby. In fact, all of our excursions picked us up directly from the hotel. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The rooms are LARGE, and you will love the breakfast options. My only gripe is in regards to the thin walls. We could very clearly hear everything our neighbors were doing at all hours. There was also some spa-esque music we woke up to a day or two? Speaking of spa, both my husband and I booked massages after long days of hiking. The masseuse did a great job and we both felt relaxed afterwards.

The hotel is located right off Main Street. Easy to find and safe. Bed is very comfortable. No air conditioning.
However room was small with tight bathroom. No kleenex. In shower pumps for shampoo not maintained. Breakfast was modest and was the only hotel we stayed at that did not offer cappuccinos/lattes.

There were no vegan breakfast options available, no notable views, and no spa, all of which are typically expected at a 4-star property. The experience felt underwhelming, and the pricing could be adjusted to better align with what is offered. Overall, it falls short of expectations for a hotel in this category.

El Calafate is a very walkable town and this location was great because it was not in the middle of the action but just a block away. Breakfast at the hotel was great, lots of choices, fresh food and attendant service was good. They offer prepared lunch to-go options you can reserve the night before since many your groups go to remote areas with no restaurant options. Beds are very comfortable even if the rooms are a bit small. With all there was to do we weren't in our rooms but to sleep anyway. The front desk helped us with dinner reservations as we were out and about all day. Because we eat dinner earlier (7pm) than typical (9-10pm) for this culture, we had no problem getting a table anywhere. The dry sauna was wonderful, the onsite massage was a real treat but the private hot tub in the hotel spa area was bath water temperature even when we asked to attendant to make it hotter. She did bring us cool drinks while we were enjoying our reserved private use of the hot tub - very nice! There were chickens next door to our hotel that we could hear in the morning from our corner room but we have chickens at home so it didn't bother us. Probably can't hear them in other rooms. This hotel is the pick up spot for reserved tour groups so that's very convenient if you don't bring your own car. Overall it was clean, well attended, convenient and I would stay here again.

This is a well located hotel, minutes from the the main shopping and restaurant street in El Calafate. The hotel decor in the rooms is a bit tired and there are a lack of plug sockets for charging phones etc (no USB ports) and you need to unplug the tv and lamps if you want to change more than one device. Also the water system makes a lot of noise - if the people in the room above or next to you are having showers then you can hear the water pumps going which is a bit irritating as many of the day trips people do from the hotel start very early morning. Also the hotel rooms are very warm even with the heating off (clearly designed for cold weather) so we slept with the window open which was fine other than an annoying cockerel that woke very early each day! That said, the staff are excellent, the restaurant is very good and competitively priced with restaurants near by. I would recommend based on location but the main annoyance is water noise from the other rooms which will wake you up if you are a light sleeper.

Very bad service from the staff and manager. I was asked if we took one of the blankets from the lobby. I said no. When I checked out they asked again, I offered my bags and said ‘open them and check yourselves’ and they said it was not necessary. Then i got several emails from the manager saying he wanted to call me to ask about my experience. When I said what exactly he wanted to know about, he said he thought there had been an issue at checkout. I explained (via email) I was accused of taking a blanket and that I have never been accused of stealing before because I don’t have the need to (I spent a good amount of money in the bar, restaurant and massages. Why would I take a blanket?). He never replied or apologized or anything. Really bad experience with them!

The hotel is ok, what you would expect of a 3-4 start hotel. But we had a bad experience when I was checking out. They accused me of taking a blanket from the lobby. I told the front desk person he could open my bags and check if he wanted, we declined. Then the day after I kept being harassed by email from the manager asking if he can call me to talk about my experience in the hotel. When I asked what exactly he wanted to know, he said ‘there seemed to be a problem when you cj cked out”. I mentioned I was accused of stealing a blanket and that I offered my luggage to be inspected which they refused. I also told him I have never been so humiliated in my life and I have never been accused of stealing because I don’t steal! (I travel six months of the year by the way, why would I take a blanket???). And the manager never replied or apologized. I won’t be staying at this hotel in my next visit to El Calafate, and I won’t recommend it either (we spent quite a bit in massages and room service. Why would I take a blanket??)

The hotel is fine. It is right in the center of town which is good, but there is no air conditioning and the rooms get very dry in the summer. Our first night there was a water outage in the city, but we only found out because the shower wasn’t working. It’s a very okay hotel.

Very disappointed and would not recommend. The staff were nice and tried hard, but the hotel is in need of investment both on property and staffing. Our room heater didn’t work for 2 days despite repeated reminders and we slept badly in the cold. The bidet did not work and was not fixed despite reminders. The ‘spa’ on the top floor had the steam room out of order which was not told to us (we would not have gone). And the under-staffing was noticeable at the breakfast buffet where they first ran out of eggs and then next day ran out of toast which took so long to replace that we left both times. This was the only poor experience of otherwise wonderful hotel stays across Argentina.

The hotel was toasty warm. Those 6 inch walls kept the heat in and if one wanted to cool off it was easy to just open the window and have a cool breeze come in.
The breakfast was supposed to open at 6 am which it did but the cook didn't cook the eggs and bacon or anything hot until 6:30 which is inconvenient if a bus is picking you up at 6:30 to go on a trip. Other than that this is a very nice hotel and the staff are great.

Good location but....

The hotel looked a bit old and thr room smelled a bit of smoke because the room was carpeted. The worst part was that the heating system was always on. Its one of those gas grills. I did not know this until the next day cause at night it was so hot. Tried turning it down but it was always on. Had to open the window which was not ideal for noise. Dont know why there are so many dogs barking there at night.
