Highly recommended! Starting off your day with their excellent breakfast buffet is a must!!!! Location is perfect and special thanks for the safety we felt, we experience an earthquake during our stay but we did not panic at all, with the safety features of the building structure itself nothing can go wrong. Staff were absolutely accommodating, polite and professional!!! Room is clean, smells good, quiet hallway plus the view of the city at night very relaxing!

Everything about the ANA Crowne Plaza in Sapporo is excellent. Quiet, comfortable rooms. Even the elevators were quick, accessible and very quiet. Excellent water pressure, comfortable firm mattresses. Wifi was great. Staff was very friendly. Very close to everything I wanted to see and buy.

Great room, great staff. There is a bus stop for airport line just in front of the hotel and runs every hour. The underground pathway is also close to the hotel, it is walkable to everywhere in Sapporo

Staff service was excellent. Forgot to get the name of the 2 young girls who were manning the baggage storage - extremely helpful and friendly service.

Level 1 reception counter was efficient and helpful as well

Makes up for the age of the hotel. Hotel walls are so thin I can even hear another room drawing their curtains.

Location for airport limousine bus stop is good.

A bit farther than other hotels in the Central Area if you do a lot of shopping and need to put stuff mid day

At my arrival they gave me a room that was still in the 1960s, the air conditioning was not working and I had to ask for a change of room. It turned out that my colleague was also treated the same way! After my room change, everything improved.

we book 2 room and stay 5 days at this hotel, Room 1219 had molds at the bathroom, and room 1213 it looked like it was no one was there for the a while. the room were very dusty. when turn on the a/c unit, you can see dust were all over the place!

It is located near Sapporo station. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the station. I highly recommend to include breakfast. They offer both Japanese and western dishes and are delicious. It’s a great way to start your day.

This is my best 2 nights stay in Sapporo, I got upgraded with higher levels and the room is clean and spacious (btw this hotel is the only one I noticed they have changed bed sheets and pillows cover for my 7 days family trip) and I was able to store my luggage 2 days before I checked in. Front desk is professional and friendly, btw I was able to do late check out cause wife wants to do some shopping thanks to IHG memberships.

Smoky hotel in Sapporo

This is a typical business hotel in Japan. But, the entire hotel is permeated by cigarette smoke. They should know that just because you put a \"No smoking\" sign on the door doesn't magically render the room clean. The entire place needs deep cleaning.
On the plus side, the staff were very accommodating. I think they know what their problem is. But the owners probably don't want to spend the money it would take to rehabilitate the hotel.

This hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. It was centrally located in Sapporo for us to walk in all directions for the things we planned to see and do. The hotel had 6 restaurants. We only ate at the one on the same level as the check-in desk. The seafood ramen was fabulous!!

Overall, it was a very good experience staying at the hotel. The location is great for sightseeing and shopping. The guest room is clean.

The only issue we had is the over crowded restaurant for breakfast. We could not have the breakfast at the preferred restaurant because of the waiting time was too long.

I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There were so many different options, including some cool Hokkaido dishes like soup curry, zangi, salted scallops, and even gratin made with Ezo deer meat. The location was super convenient, just a short walk from the Subway and JR stations. Plus, there was a Honda car rental right in the basement of the hotel, so you could easily pick up and drop off the rental car at the hotel entrance. Wifi was available in both the guest room and the breakfast area, and it worked really well. The only downside was the bus to the airport. It had way too many stops and was supposed to take an hour and a half, but it took way longer, and I ended up missing my chance to buy souvenirs at New Chitose airport.

Long waiting queue for breakfast and very clean restaurant.
Indoor carpark with elevator direct to lobby. Need to stamp the parking ticket everytime and need to collect a new parking ticket for everytime enter the carpark.
It's a old hotel but the condition is good.

I really left my room on the eighteenth floor it was a big key size bed with a refrigerator (though no microwave), hot pot for tea, and Nescafe-like coffee maker. It was warm when we got here, but the temperature started cooling and there is no heat in the unit until winter. The Buffet Breakfast was delicious!

It is bit old and half the lights in my room and hallway were burnt out for some reason.
It’s nice and close to a lot of the cool spots in Sapporo though.
Also I wish I paid in advance, the quoted price vs what I paid at the property were quite different.

It was a very nice hotel. Clean, luxurious, and great location. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

The only thing that was a small negative was how noisy it was between the rooms. We were in room 1120 and every morning we were awakened very early with lots of banging n noise and the smell of coffee brewing very very early.

I think the room was not sound proofed well.

Other than that we had a great time at ANA Crown Plaza.

The bathroom has bad odor, mainly came from the toilet and the shower curtain. Smoke odor outside the room even though it’s a non-smoking floor. Front desk don’t speak English very well. Concierge doesn’t know about restaurants info, whether they’re open or not during the holidays and reluctant to call the restaurants to ask. Agent said it was sold out and refused to upgrade us even though we’re platinum member. We reserved two beds, but was sent to a room with just one bed at first. They were able to switch us to a two beds room, so obviously it wasn’t sold out.

Loving how convenient of this hotel to everything. You can use the subway No.21 to access to Sapporo JR station & all shopping & restaurants. The rooms are also bigger than the usual Japan hotels. Very clean & neat. Very easy to access. Enjoyed my stay there. Thank you!
