The room did not look at all like the advertisement. The room was shabby, bathroom tub was old and dingy. The bathtub glass was dirty and toilet seat was so old that it had a yellow stain.The towels were also ragged. They changed us to another room but still had the same issues. I only stayed there because I had no other choice and there wasn’t a refund. I was very disappointed which put a damper on my trip. The only thing god about my sty there was the location due to it being walkable to restaurants and Bangla Street.

Really horrible place, the room we were given was under maintenance i think. The AC was not working all night, they sent an engineer at 4am to fix it, we had to leave for the airport at 10am. The bathroom drain was fully clogged and whatever was filling up till above our ankles. I had to go to my friends room to take a shower and the water kept fluctuating between really hot and really cold. When i reached out to the front desk to give feedback, it was shrugged off with just a sorry. Forget offering a refund or anything, the person was not even apologetic. It seemed like a normal occurrence. Anyway it was a poor experience, the hotel is rundown and lowly maintained. And the staff is not courteous.

We had a room in the fifth building. Our check in process was great! The room did have a wet smell and it seemed to not go away. And there was no iron or conditioner in the room. Other than that our experience was great. The hotel was clean and quiet. Barely had anyone in the pool so sometimes you would get a whole pool to yourself. Bangla road was not that far and everything was walkable.

Sawaddi Patong was a great stay!
Incredible breakfast buffet, walking to everything from great food and great bars to a Muay Thai fighting stadium all within a 5 minute walk!
The beach is a short walk away. It’s all right here (there’s even a hospital down the street!)
Great people, great vibes!

This hotel has a great chilling are by their 2 pools.
Has a pool table which is cool.
The rooms were 4/5 for cleanliness. I found some spots around the room walls and shower that could have used a wiping. The towels smeller kinda bad so i dont know if there really washing them or just rehanging them for you. Watch for that. A simple call to fix that.
Very convenient location to patong beach and shops. Far enough away to not hear all the night time partying. I had a city view which i much prefered than the pool view. Much more private.
The hotel staff was very helpful for any situation that may occur. Very friendly.
I would come back again for sure!
Expect a $1000 baht deposit on arrival. You will get it back when you check out. Make sure you save the receipt! You have to show that to get your money back.
If you come earlier than your check in, they have a change room to shower. Nothing too fancy. Ask for a towel when you use it. They can secure your bags as well until the room is ready. Relax by the pool or go for lunch, or get a massage while you wait.

I like the bed, though it is quite high. The hotel has a nice pool to relax and swim. Very convenient to travel from here. The high electric cable within the external of the resort is quite an eye sore, otherwise it is quiet and nice place to stay in.

The staff was amazing. Very helpful and accommodating. The listing was a little misleading about the “free airport shuttle” but it was still very affordable. The facility could use some updating to solidify that “luxury hotel” feel. The counters in the bathroom, chipped paint on the doors, etc. make the hotel seem worn down a little. Also, the beds were pretty hard. Everything else was great. The pools were accessible and clean. The dining options were adequate. The spa was AMAZING!!! And again, the staff was incredible!

The place is as described. Even got a balcony, which was nice and very spacious room. This is a traditional Thai hotel more like 3.5 star, if not 4. The taps however don't work like everywhere else in the world; \"righty tighty, lefty loosey\" isn't the case and you have to do it the other way. They have an option to not get housekeeping daily and get 30 baht discount (which includes the water) for each day you don't use it. If you wanna avail this offer, do not take the water as it negates the offer. The food at the restaurant is average for the price.

Beautiful hotel with Sino Portuguese style. Close walking distance to everything, but far enough away from Bangla road and all the madness. My wife and I went to Cambodia for 3 days and they were kind enough to hold our luggage in a secured locked room, free of charge.The beach is a close 10min walk down the road but they also have two beautiful well maintained pools and poolside bar, which is a nice alternative to the busy beach.

The photos don't do it justice, for once real life was better than the brochure photos! Great location, near enough to easily walk to the beach or town centre, but just far enough to be away from the noise and lights.Rooms very clean and tidy. The hotel is quite new as we are staying in the new south wing. The room is not very spacious, however the balcony is quite spacious overlooking the pool area which is fantastic. We really enjoyed having dinner with champagne in the balcony. The furniture in the room is also new except the bar fridge. However the amenities in the bathroom are not adequate, just providing the hand soap and the 2 in 1 shampoo and shower gel. So don't forget to bring your own! The new artistic south wing lobby area provides a lot of fantastic selfie spots. There is a pool table which is free to play in the first day and need to pay 250 bahts for one hour the next day. There are two pools in the hotel, the south and north wing. Both of them are quite relaxing. The breakfast buffet provides quite a lot of choices and quite delicious. The only criticism is there is no air conditioning in the restaurant area. The check-in process was quick but refused to give two room cards in the first night. However, they agreed to give the second room card after the complaint was made by my husband in the next morning. Overall the experience was good and will go back to stay next trip.

The walk path to the rooms are always closed and had to take a long route to the rooms. It was extremely inconvenient when it was raining.The check in staff was not friendly at all.

Check in was smooth , front desk staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious with a lot of extra space . The shower floor was clogged the first night but the cleaning staff fixed that issue without even telling them. The pool was amazing and very big. The location was perfect as it was quiet enough being a bit away from the craziness of Patong beach area , but the beach was still walkable and lots of food options around. Around the hotel we had amazing food that was all local authentic Thai , but if you were feeling a bit more for tourist foods there were a lot of options around . 7/11 was a 10 second walk, also it was a family friendly resort. And for the price it was hard to believe it was going to be perfect. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to do everything they want in patong area but still have amazing hotel service that’s quiet and friendly . I am coming back here when we return to Patong .

Not my first time there, choose it because of the location & pool plus was a good price however I ended up upgrading the room as the room type I booked on hotels.com had loud building noises as there is a building being constructed beside the hotel and some rooms had a strange scent which wasn't that good, also the breakfast choices were either empty or unappetizing not to mention the slow wifi. However I loved the room we upgraded to, I loved the front desk service and I like the pool vibes. also the location is great, it's a walking distance from Patong with plenty of shops outside restaurants, ATMs, pharmacy ect,..

If you're trying to be close to Bangla, this might not be the place for you. It's a bit of a walk and you might find yourself wanting to take a tuk tuk back to the hotel after a night of partying. However, this might be good for some people who aren't trying to be near the chaos of Bangla. But if you're not trying to be close to the chaos of Bangla, then what are you doing in Patong in the first place? You might as well go to another part of Phuket like Phuket town or Kata beach.

The hotel is pretty nice. The breakfast is okay. The pool looks nice but I never went in. The disappointments I had was that some aspects of the room upkeep were not up to par. But all in all, the property is visually appealing. The other disappointment was that a friend of mine found herself in extreme distress which was obviously evident as she found herself crying in the common areas of the hotel and no staff members were proactive in trying to assist her. Otherwise, the staff was pretty good, especially during check in. Overall, a pretty good hotel but not outstanding. Great value for the money.

I had booked a deluxe room expecting a king bed and better amenities, I have stayed here the week before with a travel group, not only was it more expensive but it was only two small twin beds, along with a wet floor and less amenities , also no elevator up to this deluxe room! I was disappointed but did not have the patience to complain it was my last 2 days in Thailand.

Walking distance to shopping, restaurant, and beach. Quit area away from the Patong hustle and bustle. The only wheelchair friendly hotel I have stayed in Phuket.
