The hotel accommodation and breakfast were good. The surroundings though left a lot to be desirable . Loud music from the bars till early hours of the morning and some sleazy men wasn’t suitable for a family.

Clean and tidy rooms, quite spacious and comfortable.
Find the best prices and best value in town.
A bit of noise from Bars downstairs but I am used to this.

Extremly rude and poor customer service -Dont Stay

I have stayed at this property many times, although this visit was the worst. The internet dropped out everyday, the Shower had low water pressure and water temperature not warm. The bars downstairs play music till 2am loud so its hard to sleep. The customer service from the front desk staff was poor and extremely rude in particular one staff member by the name of Leng. This was the worst service I have ever had at a hotel and will not be visiting again and advising all of my family and friends not to stay. The staff tried to make additional money for their own benefit (staff to pocket) by making charges up upon check out and stating specifc things are not charged for then trying to charge for them upon checkout. There are many hotels in Patong which are of similar rate and with better service. not recommended!

Looks like a run down soviet era coloss from the 50ties. It has seen its best days. In the yard there are like ten beach bars. Loud music keeps the hotel awake until four in the morning. Not able to borrow us beach towels etc.

I enjoyed this hotel. I was close to the beach, shops, markets, and nightlife. It had a great view form the balcony outside. The room was large, and so were the beds. The AC wasn't that great, but they were in the process of replacing all of the units while we were there. The WiFi was great and the TV was okay. It was a great value.

The hotel airconditioner was damaged due to technical issues but the authority transfer all d guest to Ashley hub resort which is way better than bel aire and a bit expensive also.
but it was free of cost for us.
so very professional behaviour and attitude from the management.

I have stayed here before and knew the noise levels I would encounter. Unfortunately someone bought a Karaoke unit and turned drunken, bad singers loose at 2am!
Pretty basic rooms but at the prices good value.

We booked through hotels.com with 2 bookings for 6 nights. We asked hotels.com to confirm the same room which they did. After 17 hours flying and in airports and an hour in a taxi we arrived at 10.35pm to be told we didnt have a room. The place looked a mess, run down and the reception and ground floor looked like it was 100 years old and had never been renovated. The hotel looks like it is basically a brothel for the local bars of which there are about 20 running until 2 pm apparently. We were told there was some problem and were shuffled off to another hotel 4 kilometers away. We booked in this location as we have family in this area. We arrived at Ashlee Plaza and were given a room at 11.30 pm ...on entering it was already occupied so we were shuffled again to building #4 around the corner and finally got into a room at 12.15 am... hopeless hotels.com and Bel Air and the ashlee was no better...still no reply after 3 days to a what are they going to do about it email!

Elevator was broken for one day and I have my room in 5th floor not cool. Second: bars in front of the hotel are very noisy could not sleep. And the most funny thing they charged me minibar 3x coke which I didn't even drink. Maybe maid took it maybe maid left open doors and someone else took it but I know that I didn't drink it. I don't even drink soft drinks...

On the first part of the stay the roon was on the quite size and did not get to much sun, bad thing is that you are expected to pay a deposit fee to use the safe, the breakfast food is bad, same stuff every morning,, we then went to Phi Phi Island and got back to the hotel, we as for some of our stuff to be lock in the saferoom, guess what, it was still standing where I left then 3 days before, nothing was missing. We then got a room on the 6th floor 619 and 620, the sun was hitting the room, rooms are clean, aircon were not working properly, the last few days was horrible. the place is not god situated, the is a couple of bar down in the street, very load, till 4 in the morning
Stay away, get a decent place, pay a bit more

The room was big and clean. However, you are not allowed to bring any food or drinks from outside into your room! That is the worst rule I have ever heard a hotel make. The hotel wants to force all guests to eat and drink things purchased via the hotel. The rooms do not provide any body soap only shampoo. The hotel itself leaked. However, for the price I paid it was acceptable.

Okay stay

Stayed for 2 nights here. Location is walking distance to Patong's most famous road,Bangla Road. Bit noisy as they have bars down the hotel but im okay with it. I didnt get wifi connection in my room. Our bathroom clogged (the water flowed very slowly), and i had minor trouble handling the traditional air conditioner. But it worked out just fine. Have no worry :). Good thing about this hotel is definitely the location. Near to everything. Pharmacies,drugstores,family mart,money changer,halal food just a walking distance,jungcyelon mall,basically, everything. I had an okay stay here. :)

Budget Hotel Close to town

Hotel is VERY basic but cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. If you're expecting 5 star stop looking at $35 a night hotels. Rooms were large but air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was REALLY hot when I was there. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was only there for 1 night before and after a dive trip so wanted something cheap and thats what I got. I would suggest if you were planning on staying longer it would be worth paying a little more $$ for something a bit better. Lots of bars downstairs but I didn't really hear them as I was on 6th floor both nights.
All in all a little disappointing but mainly die to poor a/c in room.

There were like a dozen party huts right below you and they would party from Monday to Sunday from 3pm to 3am and even though we were way up high we could still hear the noise and yelling! The hotel buffet breakfast was average didn't really eat anything accept toast and watermelon.. The location was terrible it was established right next to a little sespit canal that had stagnant water that stunk very bad God forbid when it rained it would rise and flood the streets and courtyard we were staying in.. Patong beach was alright nothing extravagant but given they had a tsunami in 2001 it's pretty nice. I would recommend somewhere in kamala where there's vegetation, beach and fresh air. Staying in the heart was not good I couldn't stand the smell 😞 sorry but I rate this hotel a 3 out of 10 only for the staff and cleanliness of the rooms. Put it this way I checked out 7 days early to my departure date?

10 nights at Bel Aire

The hotel though is okay if you are a stag and not looking for frill,thrills and prompt service . People with family will be sadly disappointed because it's a very impersonal hotel and there is no connect between the staff , guests or the structure . Everything is indifferent to each other . The break fast is very disappointing with same dishes being repeated and suddenly they stop break fast and they they just say NO HAVE BREAK FAST and go on repeating till you stop asking and be satisfied with a fried egg an some crumbs of bread . For me I had come for advanced certification in Scuba diving and I used to leave hotel at 7am and return only in the evening each day. So the hotel did not have much bearing on me . For guests who want to catch sleep then it's slightly difficult with all those noisy whorish road side bars lined up and yet create a lot if noise trying to entice customers .

We were barely in our rooms for most of the stay. Hotel was close to the beach and to the party road. We also had easy access to what we called goat alley, which was basically a bunch of stand alone bars that had teh women bartenders calling out to you to come sit. We eventually found our favorite. Hotel worked out great and the rooms were really big. @ king beds per room. Plus you got a certain amount of free waters. A/C was lacking and I still cant get used to showering with the toilet 5 inches from me.

I had family with me but it was ok just a little noisy at night since in front of the hotel are some pub/bars. However, we were so busy doing tours and we only went back tour hotel to rest. Everything is close by and 5 min walk to Bangla road. I would recommend this hotel more for the single people or couples. Breakfast buffet was good for the exception of juices, it was salty.

1) Hot water was hardly warm enough for morning showers.
2) Air conditioner faulty, despite informing reception no one attended to rectify fault during my three nights stay.
3) Noisy downstairs night kept me up every night until the entertainment shuts down at 4.00 am in the morning.
4) Lift small and often breaks down
5) Restaurant where we had breakfast was stuffy, air conditioners there do not work either.
6) Curtains do not shut well.
7) Overall place not well maintained.

Good location if you are on party in central patong and you are not coming home before 3 am, because of the bars in front of the hotel it is noisy all night long. Room is very spacious, in comparison to other 3 star hotels in good shape. Daily room service with fresh towels and cleaning. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Many parking spaces for bikes.

1人旅って事で格安ホテルをチョイスしました。
立地は文句なしパトンビーチまで徒歩10分、バングラロードも同様
近くには飲食店、屋台、コンビニ、ツアーデスクと困る事は何もない。
しかし、一応対処してもらいましたがシャワーの排水溝は詰まり排水せず、水溜りに。
返金はセキュリティーボックス使用するにも高額のデジポットが必要です。
施錠に関しては今時珍しい内鍵方式
近くが繁華街、壁も薄いのでなかなかの騒音です
併設されてるプールは貯水槽並みで誰も入ってないです

しかし価格､立地重視、異国情緒感を味わいたい人はおススメ！！
宿ってトラブル付き物じゃないですか？？
こうやってトラブル解決することで身につく事もあるじゃないですか！！
スタッフの方は親切で朝食も美味しかったです。

Non è la prima volta che soggiorno al Bel Aire, lo scelgo perché è in posizione centrale, vicino alla Bangla ed al mare. Ha camere molto grandi rispetto allo standard, il personale è sempre molto disponibile e gentile, la biancheria viene cambiata ogni giorno. Unica pecca il bagno ma si sa, in Thailandia sono più o meno tutti uguali.

シャワーとトイレと洗面器が一部屋にありシャワーカーテンが無いため、トイレがびしょ濡れになります。ただ清潔な共有トイレがホテル内にあるので不便はなかったです。4人で泊まるのにバスタオルが2枚しかなかったりしましたが、フロントで貰えました。色々気になってしまう方にはオススメ出来ませんが、女子貧乏旅行の私達にとっては満足でした！あと、ホテルの前では夜中爆音で鳴るクラブがあるので音が気になる方はやめたほうがいいかと思います。部屋に入ると多少は音量小さくなるので私達は爆睡でした。

ハイシーズンでこの価格なら申し分ないです。
バスタブが有れば最高なんですが。
