Secure moto parking - bikes win

First time at this hotel after many years at Le Mans 24h moto , very happy and we’ll be back , secure parking for the bike , great breakfast and all the staff were friendly and helpful - room was small ish but perfectly fine with a great shower . We shall book for next year
Location is great for the main square and trams to the track . This was a good find

We have booked this hotel for an event next year and we came now to check it out. We were pleased overall with our experience. The room was clean albeit small and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is central for bars and restaurants. It is reasonably priced.

Could do with a refurb...

A short one night stop of as part of a longer trip.
Very easy hotel to find even provide basement parking for an extra 6euro.
The room itself was small and run down but the bed was comfortable and the location is amazing minutes for the main town square fill of bars and restaurants and about 10 minutes walk to the cathedral along some lovely cobbled streets.
Overall was ok for one night and great value but not sure I could stay much longer

I booked this hotel for 2 colleagues for 2 nights. As soon as they checked in they asked me to get them out of there. It was grim, neglected, dirty (toilet was not flushed in one of the rooms) and they did not feel safe. Stay away!

Judging by the state of our room the hotel needs total refurbishment.
In the bathroom water was leaking from somewhere and the flooring was wet and spongy.
Breakfast was expensive for the choice compared to other Premiere Classe hotels we have stayed in.
Although the price of the room was good, we would stay again.

Close to the old city and also the town square

The hotel rooms are in a pathetic state. The toilet waste is disposed off via a plastic expanding tube. The shower cubicle would not be out off place in the 1950's all worn and marked. The room is fitted with DIY furniture which as seen too much use. However the staff are very friendly and pleasant

Convenient and clean hotel

Rooms with an even number face the sun all day and are unbearably hot. There is no air conditioning and when we asked for fans none were available.
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast at 5.99 euros good value.
There is a lock up garage which was good value at 6 euros per day.

It did what it said on the tin

This was an overnight stop only. The hotel was easy to find. There is no parking, but there was an underground park within 50 metres which only cost 2.50 euros for the night.Reception was friendly. The hotel is basic, but for 35 euros was good value. The room was bare but clean enough and the bathroom adequate with a shower wc and washbasin. The wc was a bit squeezed in and I had to sit side saddle to use it. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. All in all as the advert says, it did what it said on the tin.I ate in a pleasant restaurant just up the road and was given a discount because I was staying in this hotel.The food was good and had local producers named as suppliers.In the morning I left early, without breakfast.

This is a budget hotel but we could not fault it except maybe the room was just a little on the small size. Very close to the centre and the staff were very helpful. We stayed two nights and apart from the usual where the card key does not work on the second day and had to be recharged the place could not have offered a better service. A lot of hotels where we stay two nights on returning at tea time on the second day the key card needs recoding so this is something that we are quite used to. We would definitely return if staying in Le Mans again.

Good place for an overnight stay

Odd part of town but close to centre. Hotel is entirely functional, somewhere to sleep, have breakfast (which is a good continental breakfast) and go. There is a superb restaurant up the hill about 250m away, Bistro des Gourmets, that doesn't entail walking to the centre of town.
The bed was comfortable, the window opened and the bathroom adequate but small.

I stayed at the Premiere Classe for 5, yes 5 nights while working at the 24h du Mans Moto. It was a last minute arrangement and this was the only hotel available in town. I read the reviews of the hotel and it was with considerable trepidation that I booked my stay.

It was perfectly fine.

It is not amazingly luxurious and I wouldn't stay here on my honeymoon. But it covered the important points: it was easy to find, within a 2 minute walk of a tram stop, 2 minute walk to Place de la Republique and all the restaurants/bars there. The room had a bed, a shower and WiFi. (as a side hint, bring your own soap. There is a soap dispenser in the bathroom but it's quite awkward to access while in the shower)

The bathroom is quite small so getting to the toilet required a slight gymnastic ability.

I see people complaining about the check-in process, breakfast, etc. For me check-in was smooth and no problem, the reception staff spoke excellent english and were more than happy to help me figure out the process of buying tram passes. The main thing to remember is that street level is level \"-2\". Reception is on level 0, so from street level get in the elevator and go up to level 0.

People complaining about the facility need to wake up a bit. This hotel costs LITERALLY half as much as the Ibis (a 2 star hotel) a few blocks away, and probably a quarter the price of the Mercure. If you want a nice luxury hotel there are several in Le Mans.

The breakfast (pay an extra 5 euros per day) is basic... coffee, cereal and bread rolls, but perfectly fine for a quick bite before running off to the race track.

Would I stay here again? Well, to be honest if there was a higher-star rated hotel available at a not-too-outrageous price I would probably stay there. But if circumstances dictated that I stay here again I would and not feel too sad about it.

Very convenient in middle of the town, close to shops, bars and the tram. Stayed here for the Motogp, would recommend if you want somewhere to stay for a motorsport weekend. Room very clean, shower superb.

Hotel cost excellent, you get what you pay for. Rooms basic but clean, shower powerful but small, only 1 small towel, so take an extra towel. Receptionist could do with some people skills. We went for the motogp and hotel full and receptionist had to do reception and bar so long waits for a drink, then they ran out of beer. Location great 2 min walk into centre. Parking a nightmare, very small garage even if you book the parking you may not get it. Yes would go back because of value for money and location.

Premiere Class does not quite explain the hotel

We booked this hotel as it had private parking for our motorbike, yet on arrival I was told the car park was fully booked and could not use it. After a serious argument with an appalling receptionist we were allowed to squeeze in! Many other bikers had the same problem but were not so assertive so had to leave their bikes on the street. After checking in we kept a check on our bike day and night. You would not believe the space available!!! What got me confused was the fact that the hotel charged 6 euros per bike, so could have made a lot of money and given people peace of mind. I suppose after all that the fact we did not have a plug seems like nit picking!

La chambre est \"petite\" voire très petite , peu de rangement pour vêtements: une étagère avec peu de place, pas de pose valise quant à la salle de bains elle est très exigu !!
Par contre personnel à l'accueil très serviable et très disponible
autre point positif situé à proximité du centre ...et parking très proche même si il a été payant contrairement à ce que l'on avait cru lors de la réservation?

Accueil sympa et efficace, hôtel bien tenu sauf qu'il s'agit d'un établissement vieillissant. Des travaux d'entretien mais plus de rénovation seraient nécessaire. La chambre est aménagée a minima et ne mérite pas le classement 3*.
Ceci étant, cet hôtel est très bien situé avec possibilité de parking.

On se demande à quoi correspondent les trois étoiles.
En revanche, pour le tarif demandé, il n'y a rien à redire et pour le petit déjeuner c'est plutôt très bien.
