This hotel was well situated. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The concierge services were hit or miss. Our room (18th floor) was spacious and comfortable but had a bit of age on it. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good. Oddly, breakfast was not as good. Possibly an American centric critique, but the coffee was not good (weak flavor). Overall our stay was fine but I don’t think I would book again.

St Regis hotel was great location and close to the shopping alley. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful with booking lunch reservations. The rooms were spacious with great butler service. The outdoor patio was beautiful and the indoor bar beautifully played live music with great cocktails. The breakfast was included and was delicious with lots of options.

This is a beautiful property in a great location, adjacent to a metro stop. The service and the rooms were perfect. The rooftop dining area was beautiful at night, with a view of the Osaka skyline. Recommend a stay here in this beautiful city!

We had an amazing experience. The butler service was out of this world, catering to all of our needs. La Veduta restaurant was amazing, the decor food and service was fantastic. The location of the hotel is walking distance to shopping and the famous Dotonbori precinct. The concierge were fantastic in recommending great restaurants in the area. Overall we cannot fault it, just incredible! Thank you to the team at St Regis for looking after us. ❤️🥰

This is a joke for a luxury hotel. Room very nice but everything else absolutely lacking. Food is average at best. Service unreliable. I recommend replacing the manager who obviously has no idea how to manage a luxury property.

Almost everything that we expect from a St. Regis property with the two following exceptions. We left our room every day between 630 and 8:30 AM, returning on one of the days at 4 PM only to find housekeeping first making up the room. I’m certain because he was rushing we were left without towels, bathmats, toiletries, complementary water and floor tiles exposing the shower drain. When we called the Butler service to request those items we were first told that it would take some time to receive them. All we wanted to do was come back from a long day of touring to shower, change and go out for dinner. This created a bit of an inconvenience. One should be concerned when you send something out for dry cleaning as their chemicals on much harsher than those in the US, ruining a brand new expensive pant and top, which came back all pilled. (Laundry service is amazing)
The concierge is very helpful in obtaining train tickets and car reservations. However, upon our departure, he was a bit rude.
Service during breakfast is attentive, and food selection is delicious. We would absolutely stay again, but wanted to mention a few things to help others.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to transportation and walking distance to restaurants & shopping. But, the best thing about it was the staff and their attention to detail. On a couple of occasions, when asked about specific types of restaurants, they actually walked us to the restaurant! They were extremely helpful, kind and greeted us pleasantly each time we left and returned to the hotel. It was a wonderful experience!

Fabulous hotel with top notch service

As always the St. Regis has the highest quality of service. The rooms, bedding views are top notch! Our butler was always available to make sure we are enjoying our stay. The concierge was also always providing us with info for best restaurant, train to take etc. the only thing we did not care for is the food in the italian restaurant, it is Very pricey and the food is just average.

Beautiful bar, fabulous staff, really wonderful Italian restaurant. Rooms were perfect and the turndown service is amazing. Great boutique hotel in the heart of Osaka. Also located at the North start of Shinsaibashi-suji, which is the 10 block long covered shopping corridor which leads you right to Dotombori (famous outdoor food and entertainment area). Overall a perfect stay. May just have to come back to Osaka to stay here again.

We paid 113600 yen per night for the hotel, and has the worst service at arrival.
Understaffed, no one helped us with our luggage nor showed us where check in was.
When we had finally been able to get the attention of someone in a uniform (not without difficulties), we were escorted to checkin, only to find that it’s another 30-45 min wait to check in.
Highly unpleasant and did not match its price point. Along the corridors of the rooms m, wallpapers were peeling off and wooden frames scratched up. Ill maintained for an 8 year old hotel.
Upon complaints, the staff did try to make a difference by offering us a better room. It still didn’t make for a good traveling experience.
Highly recommended to avoid this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Beautiful room and nice view from the huge windows in the room.
The only drawback is the moquette in the room.
The breakfast could be improved, in 3 days they had the same exact things in the buffet. Having a proper Italian coffee macchine I was expecting a little bit more from the cooffe. The breakfast staff need some more training and especially improve language skills.
Overall the hotel was amazing, the concierge gave nice and authentic suggestions.

The St Regis Osaka Fabulous Room 5.0, Staff 4.75, Food 2.75, Facilities 4.00 Neighborhood Scene 5.0 After many nights of onsen and ryokan style stays, we were happy to be in a presumed 5* hotel with such services. Food was a definite downer however ...not up to 5.0 standards, not at all.

The butler (concierge service) was excellent. They helped us make dinner reservations and even track down a specific brand of toys. I could send in my requests via email and they always got back to me promptly with my request fulfilled. Super helpful and knowledgeable, they go above and beyond other concierge services.

While we booked a non-smoking room on Orbitz, we were given a smoking room and told that this was what we had booked. Als there were no additional King rooms available, we were relegated to the smoking one. Nevertheless, housekeeping came up and sprays the room (which was stunning!) with an odor-neutralizer.

I stayed here for two nights recently. It was OK but had just come from the Ritz Carlton in Kyoto and so the difference was dramatic. Rooms were fine but showing a bit of wear. I was not impressed with breakfast. Overall a \"so-so\" experience. Not sure it deserves a 4 out of 5.

It's a beautiful hotel in a good location. It bugs me a little that they could not reduce my tax even though I was the only one staying in the room and they had me as 2 people. However, it really bugs me to pay $50 for the breakfast which is very average. Other hotels in Japan do not charge for breakfast and offer a better breakfast. There are better values.

From the minute you walk in to the moment you leave, the service is of the absolute finest in the world. The staff, especially bar tender Yukari, are the ones that leave a lasting impression. This is my 3rd stay in 18 months and the attention to detail, service and high quality staff is what sets this hotel apart from many other 5star type establishments. Without a doubt, if I'm ever in the vicinity of Osaka, I'll definitely be returning

Initially when checking in staff was pleasant and was very eager to stay. We had a standard guest room however the room had many markings on the wall as well as stained bathroom marble. Not something which you would expect of the brand let alone a newer property. Shortly after check in, I had went to inquire to see if the property had a house car. Most St. Regis hotels do and I was immediately interrupted by the concierge with an abrupt NO. Not the level of service nor attitude I would expect from a brand. We had a wake up Call which was missed as well. Not the best way I felt that my money was spent. For every bad there is good. With that being said, I wanted to acknowledge the management for doing everything and truly changing around our trip. Although everything which had occurred on our trip is something that could have easily been prevented, management did everything that they could to make the experience more positive. They had sent us up a bottle of wine as token of apology as well as invited us to dine. The wine and dine was very highly appreciated however as mentioned before all factors which should have been prevented prior to arriving. Every thing that went wrong or incorrect could have been prevented. Although there was a mishap, I was very impressed that the morning concierge on the day of my departure was able to find local osaka foods which met my dietary restriction. The one factor which blew me away was the ability to arrange hotel to airport transportation

The St. Regis also provides a great experience. We found a great deal at this hotel so it was worth the cost.

Pros:
-We found a great deal and it was definitely worth it.
-Large comfortable room with great views. Great bathroom.
-Bed, pillows and sheets were very comfortable and of St. Regis quality.
-Free Wi-fi
-Good location, close to subway stops, and 20 minute walk to Dontonburi and shopping areas
-Great shower and relaxing environment
-Butler service was great and helped us with reservations

Cons:
-Check-in and check-out was a little slow. Compared to other St. Regis stays, the staff here was not as responsive.
-Breakfast spread was pricey and not very good

We loved the room! One slight problem is the little lights on the tv, switches and entryway are a problem for light sleepers. Besides that, everything was topnotch.
Right outside is a long shopping street and the hotel is half an hour away from Universal Studios Japan.
