First it is easy to find, the hotel is clean and quiet, staff helpful and the proficiency of their English is better than good. It is near restaurants and diners, more than that, it is near undergrounds and and walkable distance to main shopping areas. I recommend this to tourists

I LOVED IT HERE

I loved staying where with my family. There was a total of four of us and we stayed in the deluxe fourth room. I was worried that it might be too small, but it ended up being enough for all of us. The hotel was clean, close to shops, and the customer service was really good. Our room’s AC went out and they put us in another room within an hour. My only complaint was that the toilet room smelled like urine, in both of the rooms. They seemed very clean however when we received the rooms.

The beds were comfy with a memory foam pillow. The mattress was a little hard for my taste but softer then most in Japan. The bathroom was clean and we were able to enjoy a hot bath with bath salts after a long day of walking. Room was always quiet with no sound from the neighbours.

Superb location walking distance to Dotonbori and Osaka Castle. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by. Though the hotel is located downtown, you can’t hear much sound from the streets. Breakfast is so so. Staff are generally helpful.

The place isn’t the newest and the beds were too stiff for my liking (didn’t sleep well for me but that is ok), but the rooms were well appointed and everyone had their own space and bed. We got plenty of towels. We had them come in every other day but we had towels galore. Staff were polite enough and the restaurant Bon Vin, had the best chicken and mushroom in fry pan dipped bread and the waitress was great.

We stayed in the deluxe fourth room which was very large by Japanese standards, the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel is located at the end of the shopping mall that leads to Dotonbori, so there are heaps of shops and eating options. The Honmachi train station is very close, making it easy to get around Osaka. Great hotel we have stayed here twice now, highly recommend.

Good location, single room was pretty small. The restaurant was closed every time I wanted to eat at it. Scheduled cleaning for 12:00, got back to hotel at 15:00 and cleaner was in room, until 15:45.

Booked for 5 nights but cancelled right after we arrived. We had to stay the night as it was late but not a pleasant night.

Rooms weren’t very clean, no water provided, they advertised laundry facilities but when we asked they showed us a coin laundry 10 min walk away.
As we are travelling a month laundry facilities are a must for us.

The room is only big enough for 1 person. Only upside is that the subway was nearby.

Room was adequate but small for 2 persons. They could not let us check in early as it was still being cleaned but found hair on pillows and on bed spread when we went to bed later. Check in process could be better and more efficient- this slowed the process and it was challenging since we were tired from travelling and having to carry our luggage up steps from the subway. We didn't realise that we had to purchase vouchers for breakfast from the reception and would be good if this could be charged back to the room instead of paying cash.

We arrived early morning and they stored our luggages. We stayed in an eco friendly double room and it was clean and more spacious than we expected. They provided new towels everyday and all amenities are available for free at the reception area on the 2nd floor. It’s a 6-8 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, close to family mart and seven eleven store. We will stay here again when we come back to Osaka.

We were a family of 5 and stayed in one of their rooms. It was surprisingly very roomy for Japanese (and even American) standards. I’ve stayed in rooms in Tokyo before and they were so tight. There was ample room for the 5 of us, with all of our luggage as well. The shower was separate from the toilet which was very convenient for our family. Plus, they had a desk, a small fridge and a hot water kettle. One minor suggestion is if they could put a small microwave in the room then it would’ve been perfect, but other than that, it was a great stay.

The hotel staff were very helpful, even in helping us before our arrival with travel directions to hotel and help in making restaurant reservations.

Hotel was very close to Shinsaibashi shopping area, which is a outdoor covered shopping area which leads all the way to Doutonbori.

Hotel is also about a 2 block walk to Honmachi stop on the red Mido-suji line so very convenient.

Mystays facilities are very modern, clean, new and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family.hey also gave everyone a set of pajamas to wear during the stay.

I booked the family room for 3 pax, the room was spacious and everything was fine. The toilet and bathroom was separated which very useful when you are sharing a room with others. The hotel also located near to 2 metro stations. The staff are very helpful, I requested to send our luggage to the next hotel in Tokyo. They provided me with information and make seamless arrangement for us.
Will book this hotel again whenever I stop by Osaka in the future.

STAY AWAY from here ! Don’t make this place ruin your trip!
1. When I checked in, I was informed that my room was a no clean service room. So I must pay around $10 USD to get my room cleaned daily. 2. When I walked into my room, I noticed so many gross long black hair on my floor even in my towels. I asked the staff to switch a cleaner room and they did. 3. During my stay, no one came to clean the room, and even take away the garbage. It was horrible!! 4. The hotel rooms smell bad and the the spaces are tiny like boxes!!

Mystay hotel charged me over A$60.00 more to what we agreed when we made the booking few months ago before our departure. The staffs asked me to follow up to get my refund from the credit company instead of them to do the following up since they made a mistake. They expect me to do it and talk to that company since I can can’t speak their language. Expedia should deal with this problem if I can’t get my money back within 10 days as I made the booking through this company.
There’s no public transport like buses around the area which is hard to commute except subway and they have very limited escalators.
That’s the only hotel I’ve known that does the room cleaning every second days. There’s no laundry available for the hotel guests.
The hotel room charges is more expensive compared to the one we had in Tokyo and Kyoto. Hotel Dorf was the best hotel we’ve ever been, rooms were small but staffs were very friendly and the hotel price was right, vicinities were perfect.

Way to the hotel from the subway station is easier then other hotels we’ve been to. Location is close to shinsaibashi and dotonbori but yet still quiet and peaceful. There are lifts at the nearest station and pavements are wide and easy for handling luggages all the way to hotel. Excellent hotel thats new and clean, would want to stay there again for my next trip

Should remove this unnecessary stop as the access to floors is already secured by the room cards and this significantly adds to the wait time. Overall positive stay, would recommend.

Great location, great rooms, great price

We loved our stay with Hotel Mystays Midosuji Honmachi. We had a group of 10 ranging from ages 5 to 70. We each had a large suitcase and opted to have Yamoto Company deliver from our Tokyo hotel. It took one full day to get it delivered but it was completely worth it at about $18 per case. We were able to take the bullet train without concerns of our large group + luggage. Once we got to Shin-Osaka, it was an easy commute to the hotel on the Midosuji line. When we arrived, our rooms were ready and our suitcases delivered.

The hotel is conveniently located between two subway lines. We called them the red (Midosuji) and green (Chuo) lines. We always entered the red line using Hotel St. Regis entry. We took the Chuo line behind the hotel. Taking the red line got us to Namba quickly where we walked the Dontonbori multiple evenings.

The rooms were clean, good in size (especially the 4 twin beds), and the toilet/washrooms in Japan (in general) have really spoiled us. Would have been nice to have a microwave. A lot of convenient stores around and a big Starbucks that closes at 11pm. There is also a vending machine on the 1st floor as you take elevator to your room.

The only odd thing about the hotel is the front desk is located on the 2nd floor. To get to your floor, you do need your key card.

Taxis are available by waving outside or going over to St. Regis. Suggest booking in advance if you will need to reserve one (front desk can help).

This hotel is very suitable with Family trip.Hotel located at Hommachi Station which is railway junction of Midosuji Line ,Chuo Line and Yotsubashi Line and have spacious room for 4 people with 4 double beds in acceptable price.500Meters from Shinsaibashi market road.2 Stations to Namba and is surrounded by restaurant,Fast Food shop,Family Mart.Super Convenient Hotel.Hope to stay with you next time!!

Wonderful Stay within Walking Distance to Shopping

This is a great hotel. It is pretty new and spacious compared to other hotels we stayed. Location is very good as it is just walking distance to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for only one night as there are some changes to our trip. I would stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Osaka.

Amazing value for a short stay!

My husband & I had an overnight layover in Osaka, and we found this hotel to be perfect in suiting our needs. While the room was a bit small & cramped (very reminiscent of a typical cruise ship cabin), the floor plan was surprisingly well laid out, and all necessities were right at our fingertips.
The staff here was also incredibly friendly & helpful.
This is a new & clean hotel in an area not too far from local attractions such as the Osaka Castle and Dotombori. We would highly recommend a short-term stay here (if you’re planning a long-term stay, then I would suggest opting for a larger room).
Overall a great value!

Quiet location about 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. There is also metro a short walk away. The staff are very nice and professional. The doubles room is quite small, but is adequately equipped with power and USB outlets on both sides of the bed. I found my stay to be very pleasant and think I got a great deal on booking this excellent hotel!
