A nice capsule hotel for first timers
Very modern and well equipped. Staff very friendly. The capsules are long enough for tall people to sleep in (e.g. 6'3\") and basically the size of a double bed but with a single size futon to sleep on with the extra space for storage. Can definitely recommend for people not used to capsules who want to try it out. It's still a hostel mind, so the obvious downsides come with that e.g. 14 people per dorm, noise etc but if you're okay with that this is an excellent hostel

The staff were great! The place had way more space than a hostel and even an onsen on the top floor which I didn't expect before I arrived. The staff kept bringing new towels every day so I ended up with a pile of them when I left, but too many is better than too few I guess!

Cabin and shower/ toilets were clean, good for travelers who just needs a place to sleep and out for the whole day. About 10 min walk to Shinsaibashi station, which is has everything you need. Another 10 mins gets you to Dotonburi.

Fantastic capsule hotel, good value
A fantastic capsule hotel especially for the price. The room is tall enough for me, a 6'3\" person to kneel. I could fit in my carry-on luggage into the room and nothing happened to my larger suitcase which was looked after by the front desk. The public bath is a godsend for when you've spent the day walking around Osaka or doing day-trips to other areas. The location is pretty good, being about an equal distance from Hommachi and Shinsaibashi stations. The Namba market is also a stop away and is only about a 1km walk away if you want to save some money. The staff are also very kind and polite. My two main gripes with the hotel is that the futon is a different sleeping experience for me and I wasn't able to sleep on my side for long, and that the safe provided couldn't fit my laptop. But it is otherwise a fantastic place and I wish more capsule hotels would learn from it.

The location of this capsule hotel is ideal, especially since it is close to several subway lines and is walking distance from the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade. The neighborhood is very quite and safe. The hotel staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, and have front desk personnel who can speak English and even Chinese.

Great place, located right in the heart of Osaka. Dotonbori is a 10-15 min walk away and there's plenty of restaurants, shops, convenience stores and subway stations nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking forward to live the experience of staying in a capsule hotel.

Property is about a nine minute walk from the metro, with a shopping district nearby. There is cafe style seating on the base floor with a microwave. The capsule itself is double sized, with a small built in desk and closet in addition to the bed mattress and TV. Lots of room for luggage inside the capsule itself. There is also a safe inside, above the nightstand. My floor had two toilets, two sinks, and two shower stalls shared among about 12 beds. There is also a Japanese style bath in the top floor with a tub and larger hot pool. Overall the staff were super friendly, the place felt bright, new, and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Not only was this place very clean, but the staff was incredibly professional as well. First of all, their attire, they were all wearing suits. Second, their manners were very professional as well. Lastly, I was impressed by how frequently they cleaned the commonly used utility space like the toilets and sinks and kept them sparkling clean at all tikes. It has truly left a much improved impression of how clean capsule hotels can be after a disappointing experience at Tokyo.

The hotel is very clean and quiet. The bed is too thin and I have backache after the first night sleep. I have informed the staff and they have included another additional layer of mattress for me. The hotel is quite far from the station.

It’s about a 15 min walk from dotonbori, train stations and Shinsekai. Also, there is a Lawsons convenience store across the street, so if you want to get a quick bite anytime you have access to the store.

If you like the capsule experience then you will love this place. This is one of the best capsule hotels I stayed so far. I have been visiting Japan regularly for over ten years. The people are very friendly, the capsules are spacious and the hotel is spotless clean. Beautiful public bath on the top floor. Good location with lots of restaurants and shops, just a few blocks (8-10 min walk) from the metro station. I stayed for four nights and wished I could stay a few more days.

Your allocated sleeping area is small, but actually quite cozy if you are traveling light. It's pretty quiet and I hardly noticed other patrons when in my nook.
I love the public bath on the 9th floor; people hardly used it, so it was basically like having a big bath to yourself most nights. The premises are quite clean and well-kept and the lounge area on the first floor is great for hanging out.
However, the Wifi isn't too strong inside your room, so you may have to go to the common area to get a stronger signal.

Wonderful place and location
2nd time staying here. Was very nice and clean. Staff helpful and can speak English very well. The room is very spacious, able to kneel and just touch the ceiling. Wide variety of movies and TV shows available to watch with headphones so don't disturb others. Breakfast was delicious - toast, yogurt, hard-boiled egg, salad, and drink of choice.
The only ways it could be improved (to me) would be making the bed a little thicker and changing up the topping for the yogurt. I'm a side sleeper so had to grab extra pillows from the hallway and having a choice of topping for the yogurt instead of only raspberry would be nice.

Great environment.. first time trying out capsule hotel very good experience. Convenient location. Good amenities and services, the staffs will go all the way to help out.. Will go back again. Only problem is the reception is at the second floor you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs... Do take note

Good hostel option with privacy
I looked for good hostels with some privacy in Osaka for a reasonable price (for Osaka) and I found this one.
Overaly it was okay, good location, nice staff with great service (they kept my bag for free for few hours after check out), super fast wifi, nice and interesting public sauna, nice japanese toilets, overaly clean,...
Though, some things were not so good like the mattress that is just really too thin and can be problematic for those who have a sensible back, the pillows were weird with a side having small balls in it which means you can't use both sides of the pillow........
Also the fact that we do not have a private safe. We do have a small safe with code inside but it's just way to small to put anything in it.... there is a cabinet in our bed space, but it's not possible to lock it.... I think they should have installed something to let us put a lock on the cabinet instead of putting a fairly small an useless code lock....
I also find problematic the fact that the bathroom area has no door/no separation from the room where people sleep, so if you brush your teeths or take a shower at night, you might make a lot of noise for others who try to sleep.... that's just another design mistake that could probably be fixed easily....
So : put better mattresses ; a way to put a lock on the personal cabinets ; and install a door to separate the bathroom area..... and that would be the perfect hostel and deserve better the price I paid (that was not so cheap)....

This hotel was an absolute surprise and a hidden gem. Not only was it convenient, the cleanliness and the amenities were fantastic. The morning breakfast and the staff were excellent. The value for what one gets is phenomenal.

Service was good. Reception is on the 2nd floor and requires one to take the stairs. However the staff will bring your luggage up from the first floor if you require a lift. You are given a set of toiletries and they change it everyday for you. Nice and clean.

Great capsule hotel, lovely lounge and rooms. It had a bathhouse in it which is rare for such hotels and a good perk. Value was good as well. Only drawback was the location, it was decently far from the nearest train stations and wasn’t a lively place at night, but other then that was lovely.

Fantastic capsule hotel - great rooftop public bathing area - didn’t avail the promo breakfast, but did look a wholesome deal. Area is perfect for wandering the street, very near markets, shops and public transport.
I marked down simply due to the mattress being thin (although that’s normal for most Asian bed’s) and no internal fan or low air conditioning is the capsule (although again, it wast unbearable)! I’d recommended to anyone looking for a place other then Dotonburi to stay!

One of the best places I've ever stayed at. The staff were warm and professional, everything was clean, there is even a bathing facility. The hotel felt safe as it was separated by gender and you required a key card to get anywhere

I love the decor in this hotel!! The men and women are separated and it tailor to their needs. I took the bottom room and I think it was a good choice as I have big luggage which I can take it inside my room.
The room itself is actually spacious than I thought. There is also an onsen i.e.public bath on the 9th floor.
Overall I'm very happy with the stay. They provided a few amenities and the service is really good. The staff is happy to carry your luggage up and down the stairs which I thought was really nice.
Oh for the foreigners, if you post your photo on your social media page you will get a free breakfast!

Fun capsule hotel experience
We found this to be a great spot for a one night stay. Our flight arrived late in the evening and because we really just needed a place to rest for the night The Cargo hotel was a great spot. The airline had lost our luggage, so it was an added bonus that they provide PJ's, slippers and all your basic needs toothbrush, shampoo, razors etc.. If we did have our luggage we would have had space to place it in the room. Your room is closed with a curtain so if you're a light sleeper they provide ear plugs, but we were exhausted when we arrived and left early in the morning so this was not an issue for us. The space was clean, and Wi-fi speed was excellent. Private showers are available and the public bath wasn't occupied when I used it so that was excellent too. It's a short walk, maybe 7 to 10 minutes from the train station.

Great value for money. And really really nice service. However the beds are not the best - but its a part of staying at a capsule hotel. I could just fit my suitcase and backpack in the room - which was fine. Stayed for 3 nights. The bathroom and shower area is really nice. There’s everything you need.
