The hotel is located in the central business area and very close to shopping area with a lot of dining options. The hotel offers free breakfast, which is really nice. It did get very busy early in the morning because of business travelers and tourists who needs to finish their breakfast before certain time. It is much more relaxed after 8:30-9:00. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

One of the best budget friendly hotels I have stayed at across Japan.
The room is a reasonable size by Japan standards.
The shower is a walk-in multi-function one and it’s great! Much better than the usual shower over bath of average Japanese hotels.
The bed is big and comfortable.
Breakfast being free is great, I don’t eat a large breakfast, so to be able to get cereal, coffee and a piece of fruit without over-paying ¥2000+ Yen is also a big benefit.
The location makes it easy to get to the subway with a 5~ minute walk. Look for exit 13! (Google maps got this all wrong.)

The location was perfect , just cross the street and after a block you are at a shopping dome all the way to Shinshaibashi and Dotonbori. Lots of eateries and near subways.
The hot breakfast was very good and different menu for 4 consecutive days.
Staff were courteous and very helpful .

Only negative was the size of the room, probably to smallest hotel room I have ever been in, but you don't really spend that much time in the room anyway. The bathroom shower was amazing, and the products in the bathroom were great. This hotel also provides conditioner, so that is great. Overall, If back in Osaka, I would stay here again

Breakfast is chaos. You have to be on the offensive to get anything decent. The hotel may accommodate over 800 people but the breakfast places are less then 50. With most people needing 20 mins at least for breakfast it is near impossible to eat there. The hotel knows this too because they promote a “grab and go” breakfast option. Additionally the buffet is a joke, there is one small tray of omelet pieces for the egg option and one small try of vegetables for a hot option. On one morning there was bacon. These are in a corner which is constantly cramped with people. Definitely do not stay at this hotel if breakfast is important. Further on two nights after returning from dinner there were extended queues for the lefts to get from level 1 the street level to reception on level 3. I believe there were several bus tours trying to check in at that time. What this meant was that you had to wait for up to 30 minutes in a queue of people before you could get to your room. We did not go out at night after the first night because of this inconvenience.

My accessible room was very good. I would offer feedback to help make small changes. The shampoos etcetera are across from the bath making them difficult to access. The shower chair cannot fit in the bathtub. The bathtub needs a non slip matt to help disabled/elderly so they can utilise the bathtub instead of being limited to showering. A small seat that fits would help. Mr Ujin(?) was so helpful on our phone call. The female staff handled the phone call but it was more difficult than it needed to be. Breakfast staff were very good. Overall, excellent and we look forward to staying with you again.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Osaka and found it to be a comfortable hotel in a great location. The included breakfast was convenient, though I felt the options were somewhat limited. The room was small, just adequate for a couple, so keep that in mind if you need more space. The metro station is about a 10-minute walk, which is worth noting for planning. The service was great, and the location is in a ritzy and convenient part of Osaka. The mattress was more comfortable than most in Japan. As a side sleeper, I found that it had just a bit more give than others in Japan, but still what might be considered Extra Firm in the U.S. The breakfast buffet is good and lively with lots of visitors.

I didnt like the breakfast as I am a fitness minded person and choice and selection was very very minimum. However, there are many cafes closeby which will be the best roasteries in Japan. Normal checkin was 3pm but I arrived early. The staff were so great, they gave me a an amazing corner room with views without hesitation. iHG Membership goes a long way. Even got late checkout at 2pm. Loved this brand, people and the hotel. Will come back 100%z

We loved our stay here! The room was excellent for a family of 4. After experiencing some very tight rooms around Japan, coming to this hotel felt great! When booking for Osaka it seemed you would be either paying a lot or have a dingy room until we found this hotel! As expected it was very busy, lots of businessmen etc resulting in very busy breakfasts which weren’t the greatest.

The room was small but well spaced out and the pivoting TV was great! Also never seen such a futuristic shower😍

If you don’t mind a busy hotel where you may wait 5 minutes for a lift then this is a great choice! Walkable to shopping area and easy links to trains.

I would give this hotel a well-deserved 6-star rating! It exceeded our expectations in every way.

The hotel's generosity with check-out time was a lovely surprise - they allowed us to stay until 2 pm. This is particularly impressive given that most Osaka hotels have a strict 10 am check-out time, with extensions usually incurring an extra charge.

The hotel's location is also fantastic, situated just 50 meters from a station with three convenient lines. It's nestled in the modern side of Osaka, making it perfect for guests seeking a quieter, more calming experience.

But what truly made our stay special was the exceptional service from the staff. They were incredibly helpful and courteous, leaving a lasting impression.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka!

I booked a triple twin bed room as it was the only option for four people assuming that the double bed sized couch would be made up into a fourth bed. The three twin beds are only big enough for one person so we asked for bedding for the couch and was only given a blanket, so if you need a room for four people do not book the triple. The room is quite small but has everything you need, the breakfast is ok but does not offer much variety. The lobby has a cozy seating area with good internet and the area around the hotel is good for shopping and food options. The hotel was good for a one night stay but I would not want to stay for any longer than that with a family.

We stayed for 5 nights and we were extremely happy about it. The room was spotless clean, shower was great and the staff were friendly. Breakfast could have more variety but it was still nice. The hotel is on the main street, next to the main walking street with a lot of shops and food options so it’s quite convenient to walk around. Hommachi station is around 10mins walk which is not a lot but the exit to the hotel doesn’t have escalators so you’ll need to walk up stairs. We found this is the most tiring part since we got 1 big luggage with one hand carry one. Other than that, it was a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

Great choice for us

The peak season in Osaka is quite challenging and i was glad to get multiple rooms with 2 beds. Location was good. Quieter area compared to dotonbori side except for loud revving motorcycles at night. Hotel does not have a lobby and no driveway because its a straightfoward hotel. Aside from being modern, what sets it apart is the service of staff. Except for one of the reception ladies everyone is so accommodating and helpful specially the brothers at the breakfast buffet. All in all it did not only serve its purpose but it was a good stay overall.

Thoroughly surprised and really enjoyed staying at this property. It was conveniently located near Hommachi subway station approximately 5 minute walk or Shinsaibashi station approximately 10 minute walk. Really liked the location because of the quietness but yet close enough and walkable to Dotonbori which is a very tourist concentrated area. (approximately 15 min walk). The property was new, clean and service staff was great. Really enjoyed the included breakfast (which can get busy at times) but line moves fast. Rooms are a little small but that is to be expected in most properties in Japan. Exceptional value we think for this place, and would stay here again on our next trip to Osaka!

This hotel provided what we know and love from the brand. It was an easy 7 min walk to the subway station, a 711 to be able to get anywhere otherwise this location was a 20 min walk to Dotenburi, and not much else. The bed was comfortable the room layout was good. The breakfast is not great but did appreciate the grab-and-go option, otherwise skip it.
