Very nice hotel. We've stayed at Moxy's before. This one is not extremely close to the bustle of Osaka, but subway and bus were convenient. Overall it was a very good stay.

The property is near public transport. There is a convenience store and a bank nearby, which is great.

The only issue we had was the fact that the electric kettle is placed inside the bathroom, right next to the toilet, which is very unhygienic. And all the towels are right above the toilet as well, so if one were to slip off the rack you'd have to fish it from out of the toiletwater.

Surprisingly the best part of the hotel is the location. Close to the train stations, conscience stores, and multiple places to eat. I was also happy with the size of the room, it was truly spacious for the price we paid.

Overpriced for the experience. Staff does not speak any English expect for 1-2 people, which makes for a very rough time for foreigners. We even speak beginners Japanese and it doesn’t help here. If you are local or speak an average amount of Japanese, it might be a different story. Breakfast was overpriced at $12/person. Free coffee machine was not working 5/7 days, so you have to pay for it at the bar if you want any. Had 2 free drink tickets that we forgot to bring. Tried to use them at checkout but they said they wouldn’t use them against a previous order. Wouldn’t help much with luggage forwarding, which really was a downer. Location was good to trains. Room was nice and spacious. Cleaners were great! Would go elsewhere next time due to staff and complications.

Teenage kids declared it to be the best hotel they stayed yet. It is their first Moxy hotel stay and definitely memorable. They love the foosball. A bunch of different board games available for kids to play dart board in some kind a karaoke or a game machine too. Easy to do laundry on second floor. Close proximity to metro station. Breakfast was so so but a la carte menu was decent and good. Definitely would stay again.

I’m a bit torn on this one because of the things that led up to the stay here. I was lucky enough to have attempted to forward my luggage beforehand to this hotel because if I hadn’t I probably would not have found out that there was an error on their part with my booking. It seems like something went wrong with their system for whatever reason and the booking was not showing up in the internal system despite being found by the reservation team leader through the expedia system. Because of this, even though I had booked the hotel well in advance and had already paid for the stay, they were rejecting my luggage forwarding until they got some sort of go-ahead. The hotel that was helping me with the luggage forwarding at that time was kind enough to let me use their phone for what probably totaled to an hour and a half to two hours and served as a middle man as they tried to help me out with getting the reservation sorted with Moxy Osaka. An additional thing that no one mentioned until we checked in to the hotel- they will have you pay an additional 300 yen/per night ‘Osaka tax’ fee in cash while you check in. In terms of how our stay was like once we were finally in the hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious, the theming of the hotel was cool and fun, and the room included a fun little Otamatone that we could play around with. Additionally the staff went above and beyond when trying to help two members of my party forward their luggage to the airport.

I think, being able to call for a cab at a hotel is not too much to ask. we tried few times and showed to picked up cab from street which took at least 10-15 mins. I like to think, any decent hotel reception should be able to call cabs...

Great hotel! All of the staff at check-in were very friendly. Hotel is recently updated - everything is fresh and new. Rooms were spacious with modern bathrooms. Only minor downside is that it's an 8-minute walk to the subway. I will stay here again next time I'm in Osaka.

The Mocy Osaka was a great experience overall. It has somewhat of a boutique feel, the rooms are spacious, and the property is very clean. Although the location is an 8-10min walk to a metro station, we found the location perfect due to the great little restaurants in the area. We would book this place again for sure!

A great hotel with all the facilities needed! Location is great with some great food/restaurants nearby, and in walking distance to the cool areas (Shin Sai Bashi suji). The hotel itself is clean, a coin laundry/dryer room, and great bathroom with everything you need at your disposal. Would happily book here again next time in Osaka!

Industrial style does not mean there should be so many dust everywhere. I feel like I was literally in a factory space or something cus the bedside table area and the kettle on the sink were covered by dust. The overall design is good though, I did not expect a room with that price could have sufficient space like this, the idea of hanging table and chairs on the wall is really brilliant.

The hotel is very contemporary. The room was great - comfortable, clean and spacious. I especially loved having a gym at the hotel. The service in general was was more comparable to a hostel, rather than a hotel, with great emphasis on self service. The breakfast was terrible, very limited vegetarian choices. Food wasn’t labelled, so often it was hard to know what it contained. I’ve accidentally bit into a fish, which looked like hash browns. For some inexplicable reason, the scrambled eggs were stone cold each of the four mornings I had breakfast. The dinner menus had literary no vegetarian meal options. Very poor for an multinational brand serving an international clientele. Since the hotel lacks a dining room as such, and meals are served all around the lobby area, it can be quite chaotic during busy morning checkout / breakfast time.

Very convenient yet quiet location with minimalist accomdation makes this a very recommendable city hotel. Breakfast quality is very disappointing and a let down compared to the other facilities. Bar is poorly stocked despite ample seating in the lobby. Room is well-designed and compact despite the lack of storage space. A safe would be a welcome addition. Hotel has high potential if the bar is better stocked.

A nice funky hotel that is located 800m by walking, in between 2 metro stations. It is near offices, which means that the neighbourhood is nice and quiet after work hours and over the weekend.

They had a DJ booth at the lobby area on Saturday night, but the soundproofing was good enough that you could not hear the thumping music once you're in your room.

Comfortable room with smart design details (multiple wall hooks to make up for the lack of a wardrobe). And the shower is great!

I've had the blessing of traveling, thanks to my job, which means being spoiled with quality. So you can rely on this review. This is an amazing hotel. Brand new. Marriot behind. Feels very New-Yorkish, for those who live in the US. Rooms are spacious, bathroom/shower is awesome. They have an interesting breakfast buffet every morning, with a mix of expected food (scrambled egg) and Japanese food. Staff is awesome!!! Extremely helpful and polite. Location is also very convenient, just a few-minute walk from subway. An absolute 10. It does feel young and hip. for those who like traditional places.

Extremely good value. Very reasonable price for such a new, slick and comfortable accommodation. Feels very contemporary and laid back. Definitely better than some of the more expensive hotels we stayed at in Japan. Bar Staff could have been a lot friendly but the folks at check in were really nice and helpful. It’s no frills but doesnt feel especially low budget. Bed was comfortable. Nice spacious bathrooms (not a ton of privacy as you can hear what’s going on in there in the main room. Lol). Fun lobby with games, fire place, and bar. Reminded me of the Hoxton in London. Overall I think this is a great brand under the Marriot umbrella that’s great for young travelers (18-45) who don’t want to spend lots of money on a hotel that feels corporate and dated.

Get the \"Moxy room\" for more space

Pros: Comfy beds, larger \"Moxy room\" available (allows for plenty of suitcase space and we could leave down table and 2 folding chairs), coin laundry, convenient location near a Lawson convenience store, close to several restaurants (try the unusual Okinawan restaurant-- out the front doors of Moxy, turn left, and turn left again at next intersection-- restaurant will be on your right), approx. 3-4 blocks from 7-11 and train station
Cons: terrible combination shampoo/conditioner (get Shiseido, please!), no Ta-Q-Bin service in the hotel

Hotel is wonderfully presented. The fragrance is welcoming on arrival.
Rooms are generously spacious for a small room. Didn’t have a mini fridge, or a safe. Nor did we have any windows facing the outside. That was disappointing.
Shower was fantastic with great pressure.

I loved this hotel so much because of the nook like area found at the second floor of the lobby. I usually stay there to read a book or talk to my friends. I also like the design and aesthetics of the hotel because it is very femme fatale, making the feminist in me say yippeee. At night, they have a DJ spinning ending your night with nice beats!

First Osaka Visit (overnight)

The location is perfect as it’s near the subway. The hotel itself is pretty urban/chic which the lobby has a bar/eating place along with DJ playing music. The room was perfect size and the bed was super comfortable, not to mention the bathroom which had a Japanese toilet with a bidet. The only thing is that the room doesn’t have any irons as you just walk outside of your room and go to the Iron Station which has an iron for you to iron your clothes and take them back to your room (no big deal). Overall, this hotel is great!

We are liked our stay at moxy. It has 1 of the most comfortable bed as oppposed to Japanese hard mattress. It’s conveniently located at subway just a short walk from exit 17. It’s easy to get by namba nankai from Kansai Airport. This is the only hotel that turns on air conditioning during my March stay. I am so grateful that I can finally have a good rest. I will definitely return.
The room is ok size but wished they had provided a king bed instead of a queen bed. Love the vibe of the hotel too. Young and vibrant.

Funky and fun hotel

I stayed there for 2 night. I had very rough check in experience last time, and this time as well. It took time for the staff to find my reservation and was asking same questions again and again.

The room was cozy and comfortable, but the cleanness was a bit questionable.

The interior is funky and fun, and if you are not spending a long time in the room and just hangout at the lobby area, that is a Do.

Breakfast is a buffet style with very limited selection. But, they serve noodles to compensate.

It’s not a hotel to go to get a 5 Star hospitality, but if I have a choice between Japanese business hotel and this one, I will definitely go for this one.

Really great hotel, much better than the three star rating. Very young and funky. Bedroom was big for Japanese room standards and the bed was incredibly comfy. The bar/lobby/workspace area was spacious and fun. The staff were friendly and overall everything was really good. Only thing I didn’t like was that there was no conditioner or body moisturiser in the bathroom and I didn’t bring my own as I would have thought the hotel would supply these. Otherwise good!

Our stay was very nice. The room was well designed and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean.

The crew leader, Mr. Haruna, was extremely helpful and welcoming. He spoke English well and helped us work out an issue with a luggage shipping service.

This property was a funky, hip, western style hotel.

Casual and stylish new hotel in Osaka

I stayed there one night. As the hotel just opened, operations were a bit messy. I booked breakfast inclusive plan, but they forgot to provide me a coupon so I had to remind them after checking in.

The room was tiny, but well situated and cozy. I liked the noodle bar in the lobby floor. Very lovely lady to serve food.

Overall, it was a unique experience and I enjoyed my time there!

This hotel was brand new during our stay. The room was a good size for Japan. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, but they tried to help. Body lotion was not one of the toiletries provided in the room. There are some restaurants in the area. I would stay somewhere more centrally located next time.

Tolles Hotel mit extra netten Personal!

Die Lage ist nah an einer U-Bahn in einer Bürogegend gelegen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Einziges kleines Manko war, dass es keinen Raucherraum gab und der Aschenbecher nur nachmittags und Abends vor dem Hotel stand. Ansonsten echt klasse und nur zu empfehlen!

周辺の駐車場の利用状況を尋ねましたが、答えが曖昧だった為、高額なパーキング料金が発生。　帰りにはオンラインで支払った宿泊費をもう一度チャージされそうになったり。施設のデザインと清潔感は良いのですが、ホテルを出る頃には、滞在して良かったと言う気持ちには全くなれませんでした。見た目が良いだけに、スタッフのレベルを考えると残念なホテルです

The lobby is nice, however the music around the lounge is quite annoying sometimes.

Perhaps they should change the ''house'' style music in the morning.

這次旅行我訂的是“Moxy Signature”房，這應該是酒店最好的房間，但結果他們只給了我一個相同大小的房間，房間的環境令人失望。

我房間的床邊有一扇維修門，房間裡唯一的窗戶是用 2 塊玻璃組裝而成，而不是一整塊窗戶玻璃。

房間裡的燈光昏暗而不是舒適，尤其是靠近門口的走廊位置。

床上總是有靜電，這是我在其他酒店沒有遇到過的問題，我無法解釋原因。

酒店的早餐感覺不值1800日元，選擇很有限，質量一般。
