Location is excellent. Walking distance to the sanctuary but far enough that it’s not too busy. There were 3 of us and while the regular beds were comfortable, the sofa bed was not. It didn’t have enough support and was squeaking every move you make. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the buffet breakfast was very good.

We would not stay here again. The staffing hours were very limited. The staff was not very friendly but perhaps that is just the way of the French. Property was around some boarded up buildings on a dark street. Nearby street lamps were not working and the hotel left no lights on outside the building. Had to enter a code to open entrance door and then some lights came on. Staff on sight from 9-12 and 3-6 weekdays and left at noon on the weekends. No real coffee, only instant, available unless you purchased the breakfast buffet which had to be paid for the day before. The air conditioning was “automatically set” but did not seem to work.
During daylight hours it was a nice walk to the Lordes Grotto. We enjoyed our time in Lourdes.

An Inexpensive Hotel Stay in Lourdes.

The rooms were fairly clean and staff were accommodating towards our needs. The air conditioning system worked just fine. We paid $25.00 USD for two people for a hotel breakfast, which was a fair breakfast meal. The hotel location is far from the Sanctuary and the Rosary Basilica.

we would not recommend staying here

I was profoundly dissatisfied with my recent stay at this hotel. The air conditioning (if it can be called that) malfunctioned, and despite my request for repairs, the staff only provided a fan on the second day; we visited during times when the weather would get up to 30°c. When I inquired about tea bags, they informed me that they were not provided, and coffee was not provided either. Toilet tissue was distributed in extremely limited quantities, with only one roll at a time being provided for four adults occupying the room. Furthermore, I was shocked to learn that cleaning was only conducted once every five days, which is an unacceptable standard. We requested some more towels on our third night at the hotel, and the staff were reluctant to give us any.

We understand that staff should have breaks in the day, but there was rarely anyone at the front desk. One night, our one roll of toilet paper we were given had been used up and we had to scavenge for toilet paper in the town in the middle of the night as there was NO staff and basic necessities were given out as if on rations.

The hotel advertises itself as a four-star establishment, but in reality, even a one-star hotel offers superior service and basic amenities. The sleeping conditions were uncomfortable, the staff was friendly but hugely unhelpful, and the overall experience was significantly below my expectations. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel.

I was not accustomed to the hands off approach in an Aparthotel. One iffy broom and congealed liquid soap in the kitchen area was provided and cleaning only after 5 days. The twin single beds are really narrow and sloping so we could only sleep in one direction. I didn't think we should have to provide all the cleaning tools and would expect more service. I may be wrong in my expectations. I flew in from far away so could only buy everything we needed.
I liked the fact that it was easy to come in and out at anytime. I liked the clear instructions to check in for a late arrival. There is no reception service after 6.00pm.

Please AVOID. Staff are rude and are not welcoming. Stayed with family over 2 days. Poor customer service, very rude and hardly anyone working at reception. Rooms are very poorly maintained and lots of stains on the sofa and the bathroom floors had lots of hair and dirt before we arrived. Sticky floors with some drips all the way through the floor. It was only for two nights and we just got on with it. But on the day we were leaving one lady shouted at our 8 year olds kids as they wanted to ask something. The kids came back in tears as they were shouted at for playing ‘loudly’. They never even got to ask what they wanted and were left upset. They appear to lack communication skills and overall awful service. They lock the toilets in the main reception area and hardly have this accessible for anyone. This is absolutely disgraceful.
For breakfast they had not catered for vegans and options are very limited (no hot food, only bread, croissants etc and spread. For €13 per adult is it not worth it. The soft cheese was out of date. When we pointed this out, the lady apologised but didn’t even think of checking or removing the ones they had on display. All the soft cheese were out of date by 5 days - dated 10th April when we used it on 15th April.
Would not recommend at all, if you want to have better service!

Spacious apartments conveniently located just on the edge of the chaos that is Lourdes. There is a large free parking lot across the street.
Arriving on a Sunday, we had to do self check in which was well organized.
My only complaint is that the room desperately needed a deep clean. The floors, bed, bathroom etc were clean and I had no concerns about sleeping here, but the baseboards and walls were coated in a layer of dust and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while.

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. There was a full kitchen and nice-sized table in the suite. We thought \"2 bedrooms\" meant 2 separate BRs, but actually, it's 1 bedroom with a queen bed and twin bed, and the living area has a queen pull-out sofa and a twin cot. This seems to be typical of France, or maybe it was just bc we were there in the off-season, but the front desk is closed for several hours in the middle of the day and in the evening, so you had to have a special code to get into the building.

It's a short walk (3-5min) to the centre of the little town which means that it's great for quiet tranquility. Honestly have nothing bad to say but by far the staff stood out the most. 10D Family trip in South of France

Stayed this Appart'hotel for 3N during the Holy Week for a family of 4. You can cook your own food - from breaky to dinner, if you would like it. We knew that language is a barrier specially during check-ins however Maverick (not so sure) from the reception has good English as he's the one on-duty both our check-in and out, April 15-18 inclusive, he helped us with our queries on taxis and bus to train station during check-out.

Also, am giving few tips to the below:
1. Around 10-12 mins walk to the Sanctuary.
2. An Irish Pub nearly, just 2 mins walk
3. Big parking spaces just across the building
4. Around 20-25 mins walk to train station.
5. A min walk to bus stop going to train station
6. Two mins walk to bus stop going to airport
7. Cooking pans and utensils provided
8. Kettle and a small freezer provided
8. Towels, toilet rolls and shower gel provided

Hope the above could help travellers looking for a place to stay.

The parking was free, the Sanctuaires Notre-Dame de Lourdes is just a walking distance, its near everything shops and restaurant. Very disaapointed coz when we arrived I showed our confirmation booking but i was told our booking was cancelled. The girl took my credit card details and said she has to confirm the following day to expedia about our booking. She gave us the room to stay and we contacted expedia and the agent tried many times to call them but to no avail. On the third day when we checked out, i was told again that I have to pay for the two nights but I insisted for her to check their system about my payment and showed her the confirmation of my booking and the payment that I made to expedia in advance. It's also very hard to communicate because we coul'nt hardly understand each other because the girl in the reception could'nt hardly speak english, good thing one of the guest who was about to checked in at that time was very good to translate everything.

Difficult to find the apartment residence (45 mms and got lost with GPS) , it is closed during 12 and 3 pm(??) . I got there at 12:15 pm wet from heavy rain and was so bummed when i realized I will have to walk the city’s for close to 3 hours before I could check in .
Left the hotel residence at 8:20 pm for dîner and forgot My cell phone ,
Tried to get back into the hotel and hotel doors did not open . I had to call the emergency number to get a code to enter in a side wall box to get doors to open
Has no idea and was not told ! That was stressful .
And lately, there is no staff at nite .
The plus is there is a public parking across the hotel free.

We liked the extra space in the studio room, which would have been ideal for my son sharing a room with my Dad. As all the hotels we were staying in on our travels had twin beds very close together and no extra space. However, the rooms were so badly cleaned, and the sofa bed so dirty and in bad condition, that neither of them wanted to sleep on it. At least the bedding on the beds seemed clean enough, but the rooms need a deep clean.

Room was very shabby with something damaged nearly everywhere you looked. Floor was extremely scratched, cabinets were chipped etc. Didn't really affect the room but it was surprising to see a room in such poor condition. Nice to have a wee balcony and opening windows. The room needs the card inserted for the power, this includes power to the fridge which isn't ideal. Area was ok, though a wee way away from many restaurants etc. The laundry was useful for our stay.

The apt hotel was excellent. We had a studio for 2 persons and we lacked nothing. Staff very helpful and polite. Location super very close to sanctuary and religious activities venues. Bus stop outside the door where you can go to the station and the town centre. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

I liked that the quadruple room was big. However, the room was not clean. There was a dead moth when we came in. The bathroom was not clean at all that it even appeared there were spots of blood or something red. It’s good there is a kitchen with utensils. But there was no knife.

It was a good stay overall, the staff at the hotel were really nice and friendly. The hotel is old, the hallways are dark then lights come on as you pass by, motion sensored. The room has everything you need however. The tv is very small but you are not there to watch tv anyway. You have to walk a bit to get to the basilica.

Our room shower runs out of hot water after 2nd person, but hotel staff was kind enough to give us another key access to use empty room to shower. Problem solved.

The hotel is a 10 min stroll from the Sanctuary so is easily accessible on foot. The reception staff were lovely. Our room was spacious and the bed way more comfortable than it looked! There was a small kitchenette area for those self catering. A good value option.

We arrived on the 60th Military Pilgrimage which made for a great atmosphere in town. Parking for the hotel was across the road in a public car park, quite convenient. Lovely clean, spacious apartment in a quiet area. Staff were helpful and spoke good English. It is situated about 10 minutes walk from the Grotto, bit less if your a quick walker. The WiFi was good but you had to keep entering the password evertime you came back in to the room, no hardship but a bit annoying. I would highly recommend staying here and will return again with my family next year.

Good accommodation for a reasonable price

I had a large room and it was very comfortable. The kitchenette was good but the fridge was on the small side, a mini fridge more than a normal under the counter one. Wifi very good. Room was quiet, not much noise from other rooms. Air con good. Pillows not very good very light. Bathroom good size and great to have a bath to relax in. About a 10 to 15 minutes walk from the sanctuary. Overall I would recommend the accommodation, and will be back.

This is a jewel. The staff was extremely helpful. When they noticed that we are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, they upgraded us to a 2 rooms. They did so on their own, without our request! Our visit to Lourdes was more pleasant because of them. Highly recommend them, especially Delphine, our great receptionist.

Lisbon is very alive day and night. The weather in April has been fantastic so far, the food is great, the people are nice. The atmosphere of new and old alike makes it special. Overall, not the best place to stay. Night reception staff couldn't help with any questions and entrance lights were always switched off after 9pm. TV was not well secured to the wall and no one was prepared to fix this during our stay.

Nice comfortable hotel.

Nice quiet, comfortable hotel, easy walking distance to the grotto. Helpful staff. Having a fridge, cooker and kettle in room was an added bonus. We had a room overlooking the river with a small balcony. Would stay here again.

Five nights stay. Five minute walk to centre. Many restaurants there. V.g. Location for walking in the Pyrenees.
