When we arrive a man with a baseball bat was threatening a guy with a dog. We left for the night. When we returned we noticed the room did not have a remote. The night staff said they where our of them. Basically tough \"s***\". We later notice the room was built on a fault line. so the floor was uneven and the tiling had deteriorated. As we left in the morning we saw trash bags laying on the cement outside rooms. The night was pretty quiet. Sadly in the morning there was no breakfast. There was also not coffee service in the rooms. My wife had no cup to take her meds with. Also we noticed the night guy had probably been up all night. This hotel was probably being contracted to some homeless residents and the room probably suffered from theft. Mold had been scraped away from the roof of the shower enclosure too. Also the shower was basically a floor and curtain. To its credit the room was as clean as it could be. The bed was ok. The bed had good chargers for the phone and a good clock radio. Only body gel was offered, but it was ok to shower. The hot water was adequate. Being the hotel was inexpensive the clientele might make some folks uneasy.

I’m in central Texas to receive cancer treatment and the stay here at this place was horrible. There were no towels in the room and when we went to the front desk to ask, there were no fresh towels to give us at all because there was no housekeeping on site. The hot water did not work in our room and the floor was sticky and very dirty. They list complimentary breakfast as one of the amenities on this Expedia listing and they said they don’t do breakfast anymore. There was no TV remote and the phone in the room did not work. I would not recommend this place at all and I would like a refund or credit of some sort. They could have at least towels and hot water. I was very disappointed with this stay.

after I did the check in I realized that it was not any cold water on shower! just really super hot water on mixer valve
I had to stay without take shower for 3 days
I don’t expect flashy thing on this just the functional on shower!
besides no right towels no tissue paper…
Hotel must show really pictures of showers no and people can really see what they are getting before arrive to the hotel and get big surprisses

Homeless and drug abuse outside every other room, people passed out on stairs, people freestyle rapping outside my room until 4 in the morning. Trash everywhere from the parking lot to the stairs. People doing mechanic work in the spots closest to building. Just a bad look overall. Tv didn’t work either.

This was the worse experience of my life. The hotel is in a terrifying neighborhood. My room was nasty, the floors were dirty, someone else's fake eye lashes was on the sink, it reeked f marijuana. I had to ask for clean washcloths 3 times before the safe gave me some from another room. I had to asked repeatedly for my drivers license back after they keep after I checked in. If anyone has ever stayed at this dump and didn't get their license back they may still have it as they had at least 3 stacks of drivers license or id cards belonging to other ppl. The homeless is outside the door. Please don't stay here unless you like bring in sketchy areas.

They had no light bulbs in their lamps, they had no towels I had to go to the store to buy some, they had people smoking drugs outside, noisy outside the room, they had hair on the bed sheets on their shower curtain and in the shower floor, had no toilet paper I had to go buy some, I went to ask for towels and toilet paper as well as shampoo and conditioner bottles and they said they didn’t have any clean one that the cleaning crew left for the day. The staff at the front counter was rude when I went to ask why my key card wasn’t letting me back in my room to finish grabbing my things from the room to check out. I wouldn’t recommend this motel for anyone to stay in especially if you’re a clean type of person like myself. They also locked the back door where we have to go through to get to the front and they wouldn’t u lock the door even when we knocked on it for someone to open it the staff member told me we have to walk all the way around and come through the front door. He was rude all around with customers. All night long we had people yelling outside our room and honking.

Upon arrival it was obvious we had been deceived by the favorable reviews and photos. The property was very run down. It was evident some of the rooms housed extended-stay residents. There were several, either extended-stay residents or vagrants loitering around in front of several of the rooms. Loud music was playing. Everywhere garbage could be seen on the ground. At least one abandoned/disabled car on flat tires was present. Got to the room and it appeared that someone had kicked the door in at some point, evident by the bend and crease at the bottom. Upon entering the room there was the odor of cigarette smoke and floor was soaked with water, squishing beneath our feet with every step. We immediately requested a refund, which they granted, and left (we were lucky to have requested a refund within 30 minutes. A customer in front of us was begging for a refund because the room made her “itchy” and the they refused since it had been over 30 minutes).
Side note - GPS had taken us to another hotel up the street. The clerk there directed us to the Baymont. We returned to her hotel and told her of our experience. She smiled, laughed and said “Yeah when you asked for directions there I almost said “See you back shortly”.

So sad because we’ve stayed at Baymont’s in the past and they’ve been wonderful. Hoping this negative review encourages ownership to update/clean up their property.

I payed for early check inn on the phone, but when I got there there, it smelled funky and there was no early check inn available. I had to get a refund and stay in my car for hours after a long day of traveling. When I finally got the room, it was half furnished or half remodeled

I was already nervous before arriving, and when I arrived that nervousness heightened due to all of the questionable movement going on in the lot. However, I booked a room with a no return policy so I had to stay.

Pros: Reasonably priced, great shower and water temp, no bugs in my room at least, room set up to deter bed bugs by having metal bed frame and laminate floors, close to many things.

Cons: Dirty towels (like recently used, refolded, and placed back on shelf), a weird digital glass mirror that made me feel watched, too many people wandering around the area, not enough parking.

Conclusion: I’m quite sure there’s other low cost rooms in the area that I would forfeit my payment rather than stay, so this one isn’t bad enough not to stay, but it is a last resort for me.

Inside the room was mostly acceptable. The bathroom was very compact. There was very minimal room in the bathroom to dress. I have a special needs child, and the space in the bathroom was very challenging. The room's exterior (outside grounds) was very questionable for different reasons. At night, the local clientele or patrons were very loud with alcohol containers left in the parking lot. The following morning, there were bags of trash at the base of the stairs as though someone was evicted. The continental breakfast was not available within the advertised time for it. The continental breakfast area appeared to be a BYOB (bring your own breakfast). A staff member appeared to be trying to get the coffee dispenser to work. In frustration, the staff member gave up and walked away.

Hotel employee gave me a key, when I went to the room it was occupied with 4 people. The area is sketchy, and when my key failed to work to my new room, the late night employee was nowhere to be found. It wasn’t until myself and a couple other unhappy guests knocked on the “private” office door, he finally emerged, clearly having just woken up.

The sink was stained red from something splashing on it. We didn’t get enough towels after asking. Something bit my husband on the nose as we slept. Will never stay here again.

The room was just dirty. The chair was broken. The door was broken. There was a vending machine I used, then when I told the front desk it didn't seem to be working, he said that it didn't work. I had already put $2.00 in it and the guy seemed annoyed about giving me the $2.00 back. The police woke us up because they were told that our room was where a verbal disturbance was... it wasn't. After the police chased us out of our room for something that was going on in a different room we spent quite a while in our car, then left in the morning.

I was quite surprised by the appearance of the facility and the room. I thought the Wyndham name would be good, but alas, I was fooled. There was mold all over in the room. The door had the appearance of being broken in once the toilet was slow to flush. I definitely would not recommend. A jail would have better items for breakfast. The breakfast bar was dirty and mostly empty during the entire time of my stay.

The room was not clean, the lining on both beds were extremely dirty at the bottom. Checkout was okay but the front desk can surely do better on speaking to guests with a postive attitude. Lastly it is false advertisement by displaying on the website stating there’s hot and ready continental breakfast, which there was not, and the breakfast area was also unsanitary as well, and false advertising for having supposedly having very well put rooms which was not the case. Extremely disappointing with this hotel.

Of the hundreds of places I have stayed, this is by far the worst. The place should be shut down. Multiple mechanical issues/broken furniture. One guy at breakfast said his door would not even lock. People screaming in the middle of the night, drug use, and I think more than a few prostitutes using this hotel. Breakfast consisted of empty coffee urns and cereal with no milk; nothing else available. Avoid this \"motel\" at all costs.

Room was fairly cleaned. We never had a remote for the tv the entire time. They never had extra pillows, towels or blankets (we were actually questioned why we needed extra). Front desk attendant actually didn’t have any shoes on. THEY DO NOT HAVE BREAKFAST (unless you count cereal and oatmeal packs). Don't count on the Mexican restaurant next door! (WE GOT FOOD POISONING!) Lots of activity from both Hotel Staff and Guests (Staff power washing doors at 9am & people yelling in the parking lots at 2am). We were very cautious about our valuables in the car because of the amount of houseless people lurking & loitering in the parking lots. Only positive thing I can say is how close it is to the University area. (If you’re hungry, take a little drive to the nearest P.Terrys)

The entire area besides the Main entrance was dirty unkept and full of pothole in the assault The area I was in had multiple drug interactions and prostitutes. The interior of my unit has the plastic wood flooring improperly installed, the Ceiling in the main room had an enormous patch that was not completed w/ holes and no Popcorn ceiling applied to match. Also the ceiling was falling down in the bathroom above the shower fixture and the shower pan was to tall above the floor for code and the drain was installed in the opposite end of the shower pan ( supposed to be under the fixture). And the shower curtain was a joke, completely useless allowing water to flood the floor. The height of the pan could cause injury exiting the shower due to it height and the emminant water that leaked from the shower curtain. And last was the decorated and crumbling at the bottom of the shower room with rusted door hinges. I am a retired General Contractor and this room was a construction nightmare, there was not a trade of work done in this room that a Homeowner would have done a better job. I would have left but it was Formula 1 weekend and the prices were exorbanatly high, and went to see a Concert at the Moody Center. I would never recommend my worst enemy to stay at this Wyndham Hampton. I would advise your company to examine this Wyndham and consider removing your Company on this property.

Never stay at this location. It was horrible in every aspect. I swear the floor has not been mopped in months. I asked them to mop it but they never did. I requested a toilet paper holder and extra towels and never received either. Keep in mind I went to front desk 4 times trying to obtain these items.
