This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Spotlessly clean, quiet, fantastic breakfasts with plenty of variety. The two waitresses are extremely helpful and friendly, as are all the reception staff and lovely room attendants. It was great fun with us all trying to speak Spanish and English.

Room was very clean. Staff was excellent and got us in as soon as room was cleaned which was great for a early morning arrival from the US. We had the 4 bed room but make sure you are comfortable with everyone seeing you in the bathroom as the sink is open to the room, the toilet and shower doors are clear glass, and the back shower wall is slightly fogged glass and visible to the whole room.

Excellent place if you are looking for someplace close to the cruise port, we stayed after our cruise which we had to leave around 9am and we were in our room before 1pm even with a check in time much later than that, cheap cab fare also. It is also walkable to the hop on hop off stop and was safe walking around after dark with nice restaurants.

Grums hotel was in a great location to either walk or taxi to the city center. Was close to the cruise port. Breakfast had a variety of selections and was good. We had a family room for 4 people and it was very spacious with comfy beds. Both check-in and check-out staff were friendly and helpful.

We arrived in Barcelona at the cruise port and wanted to stay somewhere with easy access to the port, airport and city sights. This hotel fit the bill location and price-wise. The hotel seems to be in an up and coming area so there is A LOTof construction going on. However, it was very easy 20 min walk to the HOHO bus lines, 2 minute walk to a grocery store and 5-10 minutes from a ton of restaurants.
Downsides are that all the rooms, lobby and spa area have been renovated, the hallways are horrible and smell bad. A little more care could have put on the floor in the rooms too. The vinyl had big gaps everywhere. I assume they will be replacing hallway carpet soon.

Basic hotel with friendly staff in a run down area of Barcelona. Lots of homeless people around the outside who didn’t bother us but made the area feel dangerous l. View from room staring at flats which wasn’t pleasant and limited food choices in menu. However, clean rooms with comfortable bed and ample space. Had to pay extra for jacuzzi (no swimming pool) but I possibly failed to read that before booking.

Excellent place to stay. The front desk crew check us in as soon as they have rooms available. They held out our luggage. They even brought our luggage up to the rooms from the bellhop, which I thought was an excellent. Also, there is a lot of construction going on on the streets to replacing electric line sewer lines you name it so there’s lots of little detours that you have to do lots of walkable things to do. We would have four days straight. We did miles and miles of walking every day.
