Anything that could be done with aircon.
Got a reply it's the setting for building will turn it off for everyone.
Not sure if it was sarcasm.
Said will sleep with windows open
Which I did but was still uncomfortable.

Breakfast was amazing lots of choice
If room temp could of been regulated would of given 5 stars
As its a brilliant hotel.
You book a room to sleep if you struggle to do this due to it being hot.
Would stay there again as its ideal location
But wouldn't due to being unable to get a descent sleep

Room does not feel clean and are dated in need of renovations. Location is okay and convenient but very noise as it is on one of the busiest thoroughfare way in Barcelona. Windows are not sound proof (nor sound reduction) makes it hard to sleep as there seems to have a lot of emergency vehicle rising to their calls. For a stop over stay is okay.

Breakfast was aweful, lots of eggs with different type of cooking.Limited choice of healthy breakfast. Staffs were friendly and helpful. One of the chair in our room was broken, the foam was totally mess and the edges of the study table was damaged as well. They need to see the conditions of the furniture and replace immediately.

Stayed at the hotel on my last visit to Barcelona 9 years ago and it is still a fantastic place. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much for them. Is a great location to explore the city.

Good location as its very close to the metro station. But is a busy street and gets very noisy in the wee hours of the morning.
Check in was quick and efficient. Veey friendly and helpful reception staff.
Room is good size and clean. Theres tea and coffee and dental health kit. Wifi is good. Bathroom is a good size. The airconditioner can be a bit noisy.
We didnt have breakfast as we were there for an overnight stop to get onto a cruise. Just a short 800m to the cruise bus.
Quite satisfied with the hotel but its a bit too expensive.

Reviews match a 3-star hotel. It’s convenient to the metro. It is loud outside through the nice. I suggest wearing earplugs. The shower’s temperature is not consistent, either burning or freezing you. It wasn’t that clean. Again matches the 3-star rating. The bed was at least clean and comfy pillows. Probably the reason why it’s so dark.

Nice budget hotel 10 minutes from La Rambla.
Great transport links, metro to airport opposite and access to the Montjic funicular...
Nice clean rooms with fridge and kettle. Spacious bathroom...Comfortable.
Didnt have breakfast. Hotel stuck to 3pm check in unless euro 20 early check in fee. 12pm checkout though.
Only downside is hotel is on top of a nightclub and on a Saturday the noise and people on the street was very loud.
I would stay here again though based on location, ease, price and comfirt for a few nights.

A great budget conscious hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Clean, with friendly staff and well looked after. Good for easy walking into the Gothic quarter and Los Ramblos, with transport links to all the major attractions. Good rooms with comfy beds and views, shower was nice and the rooms had everything you could need. A good choice for a hotel in Barcelona.

I regret that I booked in this Hotel Best Auto Hogar.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel! Never coming back again in this property!
1.Male receptionist very RUDE!
2. My room is filthy and dirty stained linen.
3. Room Temperature is hot AC not working.
4. I did not sleep and relax in this hotel! Because it’s too NOISY! you can hear the cars and motors at all times.

Hotel in a central position and able to walk to waterfront, La Ramblas and musical fountains. Staff very helpful and had a nice breakfast with hot and cold choices. Had a large bedroom with a balcony(superior room) and a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a very noisy main road but if you keep the double set of windows closed it blocks out most of the noise except emergency vehicle sirens. However the air conditioning is not very affective therefore the room gets hot.

Front desk staff is friendly, clean room and comfortable beds. The guest room can be updated to match the foyer's modern appeal. The air condition is working but noisy. We have it on all day to keep the room cool. Breakfast has sufficient varieties. The breakfast staff is quick at replenish food and clear tables. A small table decor/greenery should brighten the area.
Hotel is in a convenient location with plenty of shops and eateries nearby. Easy 10-15 minutes walk to coastline and Timeout Market, Al Rambla was also close by.
On our 2nd day there, we told the front desk that the bath shower alternates hot and cold water, that is DANGEROUS someone can get burned! We were in room1502 and hope it gets fixed after our 3-night stay.

I would not recommend

The room was clean but lighting in room was very poor. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Towels were worn and not soft. On one occasion we got back to our room around 4:00pm and it wasn’t done. Shortly after arrive the cleaning staff showed up and when I told her that we would be a few minutes she seemed upset. We had intended to rest for awhile before going back out but had to leave the room for an hour before getting to rest and change to go for dinner. All and all I would not stay at this hotel again.

The condition of the towels in the rooms are disgustingly awful. In all of my years of traveling I have never seen anything worse. They had holes in them and torn. I feel that for them not to know this, is embarrassing to management and for the room attendant to think that is ok to leave those for the guests to use shows lack of respect

Our room was in the older part of the motel and the a/c didn’t work. We ended changing rooms thankfully, but ended up in the handicap accessible room which was a little weird but better than no a/c. The room was decent but the shower water constantly varied in temperature with use. Not the worst, not the best experience. Very convenient and accessible to the city.

We could smell the damp as soon as we walked in the room. It was cold and the bedsheets felt damp too. The condensation in the bathroom was terrible, water trickling down window and tiles and pooling on floor. Toilet paper damp. Room wasn’t too bad once heating on but bathroom was cold as we had to open window to ventilate.
Good location, buses and metro outside. Plenty of cafes, bars, fast food. 20 min walk to La Rambla

The hotel is in a great location for walking to explore the city and close to metro. The only downside is the street noise is very loud in the room even with all windows closed. Made it difficult to sleep. Also the sheets on the bed didn’t fit properly, the bottom sheet didn’t cover the mattress. Shower temperature was also hit and miss, alternating between cold to hot during. The room size and bed was comfortable and the breakfast great.

Alright but general comfort could be improved!

Arrived to find no towels in the room and until I had to request this twice at the reception I didn’t hear back from the chambermaid I politely asked.

The room was alright but the shower’s control does not seem to work as it gets very hot then very cold without touching.

Overall, the staff were friendly and eager to help.

While this location was great for its proximity to the cruise port, there was a lot of activity all night on the street. Our room had a balcony, which was good because we were able to get a breeze. The noise on the street prevented us from keeping any windows open for extended periods. Our air conditioner was not particularly effective. Good location for the one night we stayed, but I wouldn't want to stay for longer, just because of the noise.

Great location to access sites and harbour but on the fringe to escape. The main road at the front was very busy and noisey, not in the hotel. Small gym was very useful. Last night of stay the disco next door was loud until 12am, then the alarms went off at 2am, three times. Staff very helpful.

Night club downstairs (very noisy). No \"do not disturb sign\". Soap dispensers didn't dispense. Towels were hit and miss. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels. Magnifying mirror was only usable if 6' tall. Mold on ceiling tiles in bathroom. Even though Expedia said our booking was corrected (from 9 nights to 8) the hotel still charged us for 9. Staff in eating area were great. Some of the front desk staff were helpful.

over 200euros a night for a room with a window on an elevator shaft! No daylight and no escape in case of fire. Would be illegal in most places! Bathroom was dirty, shower not draining... Staff wasn't very helpful and breakfast below par.
Bedsheets are so small that they come undone during the night and you end up sleeping on a dirty mattress...
The area around the hotel is very dirty and feels unsafe at night.
Definitely not worth the money!

They try to charge you for everything, from checkin at 2pm instead of 3pm it’s 20 euros extra, to use the steam room, it’s 10 euros. Absolutely disgusting to charge extra for what’s already in the hotel and advertised as including in the hotel

We got room 1304. As soon as we open the door we noticed that the floor wasn’t vacuumed. The vents for the AC had mold and the ceiling around it was super dirty. Bathroom smelled bad, like old pee. There is a balcony that was never cleaned. The view from it is an assisted living facility building where we could see that poor people suffering. We asked for another room, they gave us the 1504. Not a big difference. I won’t recommend it to anyone. Breakfast buffet with very limited options. They have a restaurant call Antic Cafe Espanyol which belongs to the same company. When I asked reception for ice to take to my room they told me to go to the mini market next door and buy there. Restaurant doesn’t do that for customers. Walls, aisles and elevators were dirty.
