Terrible stairwell to get to reception. No lobby. Then there was an elevator could only fit one person. Even when I got up to my floor- I had to haul my suitcases up another set of stairs.

It was close to everything but at night it looks unsafe. During the day is walkable and close to the rambla. Rooms updated, Good mattress, and friendly reception. You have to carry your luggage through long stairs up to the reception (they helped my husband)because the elevator starts in the second floor. Breakfast area nice and clean with coffee 24 hours. The shower very narrow.

They have airconditioning in the building but not per room. The room was very hot and they did not have fans. Their solution was open the window but people were screaming outside in the alley all night. Would not recommend staying here if you like to sleep. Additionally, not a safe area a lot of people got robbed.

My reservation was for two nights but I left because I couldn't sleep, the place was super small, and I could hear the other people snoring. The area was not safe. The ceiling had an open access to the attic and the light was on the whole time and could not be closed off. The room has no phone to contact reception. It's a hotel for locals not for tourists.

Not in a safe area a police officer stopped my group outside our hotel and told us to be incredibly careful while staying in this area. We also did not have water one night and there was a bad smell from our shower but the staff worked very hard to try to help solve this problem. The staff was great

Located in the working class neighborhood with novelty & meat shops all over-the area.It is a nicely renovated old building with premium coffee available 24/7 in the breakfast area. There are a lot of ethnic shops/ restaurants around, including traditional Barcelona/Spanish bakery/cafes. Just a few minutes walk there is a vibrant local market open late at night under one roof where one can buy anything & everything, eateries with fresh seafood/meat prepared on order. Juice bars, bakeries, pizza joints, banks and metro stations.
All over Spain, REAL touchless transactions are conducted besides the touches credit card payments. At the payment counters, there are machines that accept notes and coins and giveback change without ever handling by the staff/cashier.

- 겨울에 갔는데 히터가 좀 잘 안돼서 쪼끔 추웠음
- 20대 여성 둘이 갔는데 확실히 골목 안에 숙소가 많아서 늦은 밤은 좀 위험함. 10시 전이면 사람 많아서 ㄱㅊ음
- 전체적으로 너무 만족, 바르셀로나 급하게 오면 다시 묵을거같음.

The area was a little sketchy, but we had no issues. Easy walks to where we wanted to go. The issue I found was that there are stairs to climb and no way to get luggage upstairs. Limited availability of snacks and drinks. No ice for rooms.

Our recent stay at the hotel was a bit of a mix feelings. While the staff were exceptional—friendly and helpful—the outside area felt unsafe, and there was a lot of construction nearby, making it inconvenient for booking an Uber or taxi.
Inside, we encountered needing to ask for a blanket and received a damp blanket and had to request a replacement, which was a bit odd. However, the hotel's rooftop was fantastic, offering great views, and the availability of unlimited water, coffee, and tea was a nice perk. Overall, while the hotel had its highlights, the location and some amenities could use improvement.

Lovely hotel in busy Barcelona

It was a lovely hotel tucked in a busy Barcelona street. We did not have a car so we had easy walking access to anywhere we wanted to go. We used the metro several times without issues. It was tricky for us to get to the airport because a race had shut down the streets. The desk clerk was knowledgeable and helpful to us I making a plan. We took the metro out of the race area then took a taxi. You can take the metro or a bus to the airport. The room was small but modern.

Great find, spotless and great staff, especially Raul at breakfast, which is also very good, with Nespresso coffee available 24/7.

Room was okay although limited hanging space and no safe.

Possibly one of the best showers I've ever had though.

Floors can be slippery when wet.

Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to lots of stairs even just to get to reception.

Would happily stay again though.

Although from the outside the hotel didn't look like much, and the walk up to the reception also, the rooms and the dining area were excellent.- clean, convenient and comfortable.

The rooms were very clean, with good air conditioning.

The dining area offered free teas and coffees with a professional Nespresso machine. There was also a water machine which offered cold,water, still and sparkling.

NEGATIVE:
-the property is located in a VERY DIRTY (garbage everywhere, smell of urine, etc) street;
-there is no lobby. You walk up two flight of stairs to find a person behind a small desk;
-the computer screens in my home office are larger than the tv in the room. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel with a 19inch tv;
- there are not dressers;
-no closet;
-no full size mirror..the only mirror in the entire room is the small one in the bathroom ;
-only 1 waste basket (in the bathroom);
-no refrigerator;
-no safe;
-no coffee maker in the room;
-the bed does not have comforters.
We were very uncomfortable getting to the hotel at night. We didn’t feel safe. One night when we arrive after dinner, there were a group of men by the entrance door smoking and drinking. At night it is very noisy (outside). I didn’t understand why there were earplugs next to the tv controller until night time.

POSITIVE:
-Raul (serves breakfast) is a very tentative, and nice staff member;
-the hallway is clean;
-our small room was clean;
-close to transportation;
-close to La Ramba;

I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Its a great hotel and cleaned nicely. The staff are very helpful and made us feel very safe. However outside the hotel the area is sketchy, especially at night. It’s only a 6/7 minute walk from La Ramblas, but you have to walk quickly to and from at night. Overall, we had a lot of fun and loved the hotel, but were just extra cautious when we were outside.

The room is extremely small and there is not even space to put your luggage. No closets, no dressers, no refrigerator, and a 12 inch TV. It was very uncomfortable for two people and definitely not worth the price. The pictures are very misleading and are nothing close to what you will get. The neighborhood was a bit seedy at night, and upon arrival we found people smoking marijuana outside the door.
The only positive I would give is that it’s located close to interesting spots within walking distance.

We chose this hotel because the price was right considering the world was here for a Formula One race. While the room was small, it was refurbished and nice looking with a good bed. The bathroom was also as good with plenty of room to put toiletries while getting ready. Getting to the hotel and getting to the room was another story entirely. It is located down one of the narrow streets, which is fine in itself, however, the street is populated with a variety of people from all over the world, with many of them, ominous looking from the perspective of one who doesn’t see such life often. I will say that no one bothered us at all walking down the streets even at night. The street did not have a fresh smell probably from the variety of foods that were being cooked. There was laundry hanging from the balconies that were not being used to stuff ones extra belongings. Upon entering the hotel, you are greeted with a nice looking long staircase, however, the luggage lift was broken. The staff, for the most part, were good and efficient. In summary, I would say that if the price is what you’re looking for there’s no reason not to pick this hotel and you will have a good night sleep.

We had a short, but pleasant, stay. The guy at the desk was very friendly. He helped us bring our bags up the stairs without us even asking. Then got us checked in fast. The room itself was clean.

We got in around 4pm and left early in the morning for our flight, but we explored the area a bit. There are some nice restaurants and bookstores near by - we even found some books in English for our flight back.

Property was booked as handicapped accessible. When we arrived, narrow entrance hall had building marerials stacked up blocking all but 2 feet of hallway width. The hall ended in about 20 steps to get to registration desk. The staff there called maintenance to operate the lift used to get those with mobility issues to the next floor where there is an elevator. The lift was not working and we could not access the hotel. The staff, Amin, was very understanding and assisted us in securing other accommodations (at twice the cost) and called for a cab to take us there. It was obvious that the hotel could not meet our needs and had misrepresented the property. Now, they are refusing to refund our money that was prepaid for 2 rooms for 3 nights.through Expedia.

Hotel is situysted in a mixed working class area, not exactly touristic. The single room is not at all as photographed. The only window in the room was a small porthole in the ceiling with pigeons cooing overhead possible crapping into the room. Very claustrophobic. Would avoid unless desperate.

Excelente servicio por parte del personal del hotel, el desayuno completo, el chico que nos atendio durante nuestra estadia en los desayunos, muy servicial, respetuoso y buen anfitrión. Cabe destacar que en el área de cafetería siempre estaba disponible para los huéspedes, variedad de café, té y agua. Agradecidos y satisfechos con nuestra estadía.
