The TOC Rambles was a gteat hotel to stay for a few nights in Barcelona. From the moment we walked in, the staff was exceptional, the room as clean . The buffet+ breakfast was great.

Really cute boutique hotel. Very clean , but small rooms. Smaller than expected but beds were very comfortable. Loved the location no car needed , we even walked to Sagrada Familia. Breakfast was limited, we ate only once there. Really good bakery next door so it was not a problem for us.

Carlos, the front desk host, is welcoming and charming. The design is appealing and modern. Great location near the deliciously stocked Mercat de la Boqueria for dining and culinary shopping. There is a wonderful pastry shop next door to the hotel. Short walk to the Ramblas.

Though the hotel is very nice, I would not recommend going to Barcelona at all. They have a severe illegal alien problem causing a a high crime rate.
I was in Barcelona just over 12 hours, when I was assaulted from behind in broad daylight, having my gold chain ripped from my neck. He fled on an electric scooter. I gave chase for a block, but couldn’t catch him.
Barcelona isn’t worth the safety risk.

room was a lot smaller than expected no room to lay our suitcase. could barely walk through the room. bunk bed was unsafe height hard to get up. unsafe area, creepy men probably pickpocketers that would be there every hour you passed by them in the same spot. only good thing was 24/7 front desk person available for getting back late.

My Mother is elderly and blind, so I needed a little extra help with luggage, etc. They were very helpful and understanding. There was a taxi shortage due to cruise ships leaving at similar times, and the staff was very helpful, as well.
The neighborhood had several very good restaurants and was vibrant area.
If we are in Barcelona we will stay again and recommend to friends.

Cute and well designed hotel. Loved the location specially traveling with kids. Can go walk around Las Ramblas to eat and shop all day. Market, art shops, restaurants, bars, bakery and etc. Only the AC in my quad room was not really independently controlled. Cant cool it down for kids quick afternoon nap. AC thermostat only responded late afternoon/early evening cooling down the room in time after dinner at 8pm. Other than this, we loved the room.

At first there was noticeable graffiti that we hadn’t seen before on our last trip. But in fact, the city is very clean for such a large metropolis and very peaceful and enjoyable to walk around.
TOC’s rooms are a bit small but understandable and such a big city. We got our moneys worth for sure. The Spanish breakfast was very enjoyable and the cappuccinos were delicious.

We were surprised to see this hotel having only one star—it far exceeded our expectations. While the room was small, it was spotless, stylish, and had four proper beds (not a sofa bed, which we really appreciated). There was plenty of space for clothes, and the bathroom was perfect with lovely-smelling toiletries. Daily cleaning was a big plus. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, and the reception area had a great atmosphere with games and a welcoming scent. We only had breakfast once, but it was excellent, and we loved the complimentary afternoon coffee and pastries. The location is absolutely perfect. We would choose it again if we were to visit Barcelona again.

We stayed in a Superior room which is why my review is as good as it is. I cannot imagine lowering my standard much more for a hotel stay without it affecting my review negatively. For what you pay this was an AMAZING hotel. Standards in Barcelona are not as posh as some other cities so i will not compare them...The bed was comfortable and of the 5 nights we stayed only 1 night was noisy which surprised me being so close to Las Ramblas. The location can't be beat...near to Metro and if you're a walker you can do that too...next door to an amazing market...spent most nights in the Gothic quarter that is very near...the staff were all friendly and helpful...i felt safe as the front desk is monitored and front door is locked...just ring to come in...LOTS of hot water...we had just arrived from a week in Paris from a much nicer hotel that had absolutely no hot water so it was much appreciated...breakfast was nice and consistant...bring a whistle because it's the best way to scare away pickpockets...had 2 run ins with them on the Metro...thank you to Jonathon for making our stay memorable

As two adults (not a couple) we stayed in the twin bunkbed room. The price was very reasonable for Barcelona, and the location was great. The beds were very comfortable, but the room was impressively tiny, and the window led to a utility hole (much too small to be a \"courtyard\". The bathroom was beyond tiny -- if the doors were closed, you couldn't even turn around if you were standing in front of the sink -- sidling left or right as if pressed against a wall was necessary. There were no electical outlets or light switches reachable from the upper bunk. Biggest problrm -- the bathroom doors were translucent glass sliding doors that did not reach the floor completely, so there was neither complete visual nor audio bathroom privacy. There was no kettle in the room. There was free coffee & tea available in reception downstairs, but only after 1pm, so not useful in the morning. Probably best to use this room for children, not adults.
