Very helpful and friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Joaquim at reception was very prompt in printing my train ticket and calling the taxi. Rooms were very near and clean. Very good location and you can cover Rambla, gothic quarters and passegue de Gràcia by walking. I was in the floor 1 and only thing slightly disturbing was the train sound . I will stay there again but on a higher floor.

Perfectly located hotel in Barcelona – ideal for exploring the city on foot and with great transport links nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite, friendly and happy to help. The only small downside was the lack of storage: a couple of hooks for coats and a few more hangers in the wardrobe (there were only about 3–4) would have made the stay even better. Overall, a very good experience.

This is no way a 4 star hotel. The room was nearly $400 per night and looked out onto another wall 8 feet away. Dark, depressing and very dirty. Hair in shower in a supposedly clean room, hole in dry wall, stained towels. Really awful and I’m very annoyed it is billed as a 4 star hotel and that we paid soooo much for a dirty, dark room. I very much loved the location of this hotel as it was in the heart of everything. The convenience of having walkable restaurants and being able to shop was great. The staff were truly amazing. We loved Royal Rumbla for its convenient location, right on La Rumbla and in the Gothic Quartet. We had so many dining and drinking options, as well as shopping within an easy walking distance.
The hotel was super clean and quiet, even though we were right on such a busy street, albeit mostly pedestrian. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. We would certainly go back to Royal Rumbla hotel.

Great location, however hotel was going through renovations as was the Rambla. Was delayed over 24 hours getting the room we paid for as the category of room was not available due to a water leak. Hotel manager was not interested in expediting getting us in to the proper room. Note the subway runs directly beneath this property and you feel the rumbling day and night.

The hotel stored our luggage and it was already in our room when we arrived back a few hours later . The staff were outstanding couldn’t do enough for us .
