First i would like to say, the location was great and Sofia was wonderful. Sofia was eager to try and help with the multiple problems of our stay.
The 1st room we were given had such a loud sounding air-conditioning system which was not tolerable, and sporadic running hot water. We were transferred to the 6th floor were we had to walk up a narrow spiral staircase with heavy luggage, one of the railings was broken, very dangerous.
Thank God we paid for a week membership at a gym where we were able to take a hot shower.
We spoke to others at the reception desk who told us to run the water for a half hour to no avail. Not once did the manager of the hotel reach out to help make us happy.
We were very unhappy with our hotel stay and paying I ver 1300 dollars fir this room is horrifying.

The room was nice, small but had everything I needed. I didn’t have any issues with sound. The blackout curtains weren’t the best and could’ve been better. The staff was great for the most part! The were a couple front desk employees that were difficult to work with. Argued about government issued ID’s, didn’t communicate with each other about early check out. I clarified with 3 different staff members about having a late check out, paid the fee, and still got a phone call waking me up telling me that I was late checking out. Great location but they need to reevaluate their staff.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in August. It was a lovely stay and very convenient location. The only issue I had was it was for my partners birthday. I had contacted the hotel weeks prior asking if they could do some decorations in the room, to which they said yes.

A few days before I messaged to confirm and they asked what decorations I would like, I said balloons or something similar and they said they would sort it. When we arrived the lady on reception said in front of my partner “You wanted something nice in the room?” Which was a bit annoying as I wanted it to be a surprise for him. When we got into the room, their “birthday decorations” was a champagne flute with stale sweets, a glass of water with a tea light in, and a lampshade?

I understand if birthday decorations are not something they would offer, but I would rather them of said no in the first place than do that. As it was quite embarrassing to be honest after I’d told my partner there was going to be something nice in the room for him.

Stayed for 5 days. Went to a different part of Spain. Then back to this hotel.
People working the reception area were fabulous and helpful!

First stay: standard room with balcony (room #102). Great deck. Air conditioning barely worked. Frayed towels. Cleaning crew changed our towels daily although we hung up our towels. Cleaning crew NEVER cleaned the glasses. Elevator broke.
Second stay: room 601. Shower drain backed up. needed cleaning. Bathroom smelled probably due to the shower. Part of the banister on the stairwell was missing between floors 5 and 6. No light over the stairwell when using at night. Again, cleaning crew took towels that were hanging up when we were happy to use them again. They also never cleaned our obviously used glasses. I bought dish detergent and cleaned them myself each day.

The hotel has the perfect location. Communication ahead of our stay was great - prompt and helpful. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room ( with a lovely furnished terrace) was clean and comfortable. Air con good and lots of hot water for showers .
There are two good restaurants on the doorstep, a cafe for breakfast and only a stones throw to shops and more eating options. We asked for a kettle which was happily supplied.
Locked luggage storage is available if you arrive early or late. And a lift.
Its an easy walk to the cathedral and the port with metro and buses very close

The hotel is in the heart of the rambla, close almost to everything, the staff are so polite, check is 24 hours, and we leave our luggage for 4-5 hours after check out in the hotel so we can go out
The only thing that is bad is that there was so many dust in the room

It was misleading the advertising says this hotel includes breakfast, that’s the reason I booked this hotel. Unfortunately it isn’t include breakfast and there is nothing else than hot and cold water dispenser. When I asked about it at check in, I was told there isn’t anything else and I could go out for breakfast at my expense.
After check in I went to the room allocated for me, when I opened the door there was already another person in it! Had to go down and finally was given another room.
Don’t recommend this hotel if you think breakfast is included, it’s not. Not worth the price I paid without breakfast.

Good city center hotel

Quiet location is in the city center. Air condition working good is Aug. Walking distance mins for many shopping and sightseeing and food and metro. Restaurants next to the hotel for dinner/ breakfast. Close to cruise ship terminal.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Barcelona

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of 3 in room 509, which had a lovely private rooftop terrace. Really enjoyable, hotel is massively renovated since I was last here about 17 years ago. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Our huge bed - maybe super king - was extremely comfortable, and the single bed our son had was great, too.

Refreshingly kind staff at check-in, namely Claudine. Claudine was very friendly and contacted us as soon as the room was ready (earlier than expected), but her exceptional customer service and smile in general were very much appreciated. The NOT good:
The blinds does not block the light. So if you are like me - prefer very dark room during sleep - you’ll not be happy.
If you are in one of the lower floors, you could hear the voices down the alley starting 8.30 am

This hotel is cute and clean and pretty updated. I booked the smaller room and it was still a good size. The area is perfect shops and eateries on the same street and all around. The staff are stellar. We came early off a cruise and they shared their WhatsApp with us and messaged ehe a room became free. Also any other issues or request can be submitted via WhatsApp and they get on it ASAP. Our safe was closed, they came an opened it and we ordered a taxi to the airport via WhatsApp and it was there waiting right on time. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for three days. Since our flight landed in Barcelona at 6 am, we arrived early, and the staff kindly checked us in and stored our luggage since our room wasn’t ready yet. We returned around 1 pm and received our cards for the triple room with a balcony.

The room was equipped with a mini fridge, and the balcony had a nice table.

Our favorite part was the location, as it’s within walking distance of La Rambla and the Gothic Square.

The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very attentive and friendly.

Immaculate hotel. Room was updated , clean and had everything you needed. But I was COLD, my heat didn’t work properly and it was just uncomfortable. Getting out of the shower was painful! They fixed it the first night but with in an hour back to cold. The front desk agent lady, young short red hair, accent was a gem. Very lucky to have such a great representative of this hotel. Great central location, lots near by, everything walkable but deal with all the homeless people right at the entrance it’s so off putting to a new traveller especially as a female solo traveller I found myself staying in at night.

This is a great hotel to put you right in the middle of everything near La Rombla. There is absolutely no parking, so you definitely want to take a cab or public transportation to get to this hotel. The market is only three blocks away. Rooms are very small, but the convenience more than makes up for this.

Gorgeous stay in the heart of Barcelona.

Good hotel in an excellent location.

A very nice hotel in a central location. Personal preference that the bed and pillows were too soft and the shower was quite a pain to get to the right temperature. Very attentive staff and hotel is in a brilliant location next to Placa Catalunya and walking distance to the Gothic Quarter.

This was located in a PRIME location in the city legit next to EVERYTHING. The staff was 10 out of 10. The cleaning people were so respectful and did a great job. One thing I would add for the hotel is please add boxes of tissues to your bathroom setup.

The hotel was perfectly located. Beautiful room, very clean, large bathroom, shower. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The hotel was in close walking distance to the train, steps to the shops, restaurants, and tour busses. It was a wonderful stay and where we will return to for future visits to beautiful Barcelona.

This is not a 3-star hotel, i'd expected. The room was clean (no cockroachs) but was small and crowded. There was no safe deposit and the window was not only small but did not lock firmly. The Inn was close to famous Rambla area, but was inside apart from the busy streets, and even being a male, I did not feel safe walking to my place.

The room is spacious enough for two people with 2 big luggages. The bed is comfortable. The location is great as it is walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is just at the time when we were there, there were roadworks and uber/taxis cannot drop us right infront of our hotel. We had to walk for about 5 minutes which is not bad but with our luggages and walking on shared footpath is not ideal but we had to do it anyway. Overall, our accommodation is good to place to stay.

Nice rooms and location.

Nice location, but cockroaches climbing out of gap in bathroom door frame are concerning. When reported to the hotel night agent they insisted on coming into my room at 2 am which I denied as I am traveling with my baby. Where there is one cockroach there will be hundreds. Unfortunately could barely sleep after this stressful experience.

We stayed on the 4th floor which was really warm and unable to use the AC unit in the room. Reception stated it was due to it being Spring time and it was controlled by the hotel property. It was over 70 degrees outside. I’ve never stayed anywhere especially at a hotel where the hotel property controlled the AC unit. The room was extremely small. The staff was friendly and hotel is centrally located near Las Ramblas.

2 hrs of hell

We checked out 2 hrs after we'd check in. Where to start!
No hot water, an annoying ringing constantly.
Sofa damaged. Terrace balcony looked nothing like the pictures was awful. Electrics hanging out everywhere.

We check going down to the receptionist who was uninterested, too busy on personal facetimes
Only when we came down with luggage and asked to check out did she say do you want an upgrade 😂 no thanks we'd already booked a superior double.

The property was under construction I didn’t know about that, they didn’t have the courtesy to sent a warning or an email with those details my daughter have asma and well I did have to deal with that, also the a/c was not available for me to control, the heater was extremely hot I did have to turn it off and open the window!!! The location is amazingly beautiful walking distance to a lot of nice places and shops!!!

Great location

Superb location, just off the Ramblas, but also very quiet. The higher floors with a terrace are great, but the rooms themselves are tiny. Not even anywhere to store suitcases. It also needs to have a safe in the room!

They recently remodeled the unit I stayed at and there was an electrical problem and there was a ring noise in my room for 24 hours . Staff couldn’t fix it and I couldn’t sleep well the whole night . Electrician fix it the next day . Staff said we will talk to management and I asked for a day refund which was fair . But they did not give me a day refund .

The hotel itself and the staff (eventually) were lovely. However if you are looking for a safe area from which to explore the city, avoid this hotel. It is too close to possibly one of the unsafest places I have ever had the misfortune to visit - Las Ramblas. It’s not the hotels fault but I would carefully consider the location if you’re looking to book. The doors were not opened at all times, they are controlled by the person on the desk, to keep out undesirables I am sure.

As other visitors have stated, there is building work going on so it was dusty.

It was in a fantastic location. Could walk almost everywhere. And the transit was so close. Train and even bus to the airport.

The staff were very sweet and helpful. The room was super cute and comfortable. There weren’t a lot of “extras” but it was enough for a great sleep (the bed and pillows were perfect), nice bathroom and base for exploring.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and location!

The stench next to the lift at the lobby smells as bad as last time I was here, maybe it was from mould but it smells like dead bodies from inside. Once you pass this obstacle take the lift, the room is warm comfortable and I had a good terrace for fresh. Good location
