In a quiet area Away from the hustle and bustle, that’s still close to the main attractions.

Our room had a fantastic view over a canal – look like a painting. Upgrading to a canal view is worth it.

The staff was very attentive and cordial. The rooms are lovely, clean, with an incredible location. If you eat at the bar/restaurant…the pasta and hamburger are delicious. And the focaccia… leaves your mouth watering. You have to order it with the tomato-feta dish.
The gym was on the smaller side , but we usually had it for ourselves. It has a handful of cardio machines and upstairs, a good selection of weights with a bench and bands. There was also a TV with workouts you could choose from. Good ambiance! We also rented the bikes. So fun!!!!!
It will definitely be my place of choice to stay again!

Only little suggestion would be to add in fluffy dressing gowns in the Winter months rather than the thin material ones.

My favorite hotel in Amsterdam. Great service, great location, comfortable and authentic spaces. Breakfast needs to be better. Limited choices for a 5 star and overcooked food multiple visits for $50 a head is not worth it. Skip the add on when booking. Lunch and dinner are fantastic.

We were on the 3rd floor, took elevator to third floor, climbed two sets of stairs and walked outside a short distance to get to room. Thankful for the staff who brought our luggage up. Amsterdam was amazing—the city is beautiful, and the hotel is in a great central location. We stayed in the Collector Suite, which was stunning and very comfortable.
The only disappointment we had was with the concierge, who wasn’t able to arrange a private vehicle on short notice; we were told they require at least six hours’ notice. We also felt that no one really took the time to explain the hotel’s amenities, so we had to figure things out ourselves. The property layout can be a bit confusing, and finding your way to and from the lobby takes some getting used to.
Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the staff could be a bit more proactive and helpful to make guests feel more supported.

This is a hotel that weaves over 20 canal houses into a very unique hospitality experience. We opted for a room that overlooked one of the two canals on which it is situated. It was a perfect ending to our journey across a few European countries. The area around the Pulitzer is bustling with many independent shops and restaurants.

Very comfortable beds. Central walkable location. It is a busy area but easy to access trans with short walk and local food and shopping nearby. Our weather was terrible every day but they have umbrellas in Libby and in rooms and nice garden seating for coffee, exquisite chocolates in room and complimentary apple juice and waters.

Highly recommend for high standards!

Really surprised this was a 5 star hotel. Not a great experience overall and will probably not be back.

My flight was delayed and i called to let them know i would be arriving a day late which they told me no problem, however they still put me as a no show and had to go through a whole process to reinstate the reservation.

Reception was extremely friendly, but rather slow at the same time. We would find ourselves waiting about 10 minutes or so before even getting called up with only one person before us.

They were out of steamers, which wasn't that big a deal since they had irons, just bummed thay I couldnt use one when they had suggested it for me.

Finally, they did not register that i prepaid with expedia and proceeded to charge me for the entire stay for a second time so now i am down an extra $2500 dollars while i figure out how to get a refund on it.

We loved how the Pulitzer is a whole block of classic Amsterdam row houses. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood after spending our days walking though the crowds of people thoughout Amsterdam. Highly recommend taking a canal boat ride on The Tourist.

I loved the location of this property - walkable to wonderful shops, restaurants, etc. The room was lovely and the staff was excellent. I would just note for any future renovations that it is quite difficult for anyone over 5'10\" to use the shower without bending over. Overall, we loved this property and would return again.

The Pulitzer was an excellent hotel for my family on our visit to Amsterdam. The rooms are unique, clean, excellent appointed and “relatively” spacious. The staff are accommodating and willing to help at any time of the day. The location is convenient with walkable access to museums, shops and local restaurants.


I look forward to my third stay next time I need to stay in Amsterdam.
