I was on the 2nd floor. I couldnot sleep because the loud music from the bar downstairs was too high, guess were talking very loud on the halls until late hours during the night 3-4 am. Guess were constantly opening the room door. No curfue silence was respected. It was a party hostal!

Receptionist said she canceled my reservation because I shown my id instead of passport and argued that it is accepted in other hotels. I was able to find a passport in a bag but she was rude and said she canceled already. But now I found that I was charged still. Please check and rerund

Staff was amazing, very clean room and public areas, but the hotel never turn on the heater (unacceptable) I spent 3 nights there and didn’t sleep because the room was freezing. Hope the owner of this place understands that sleep in a room without heating and less than 40 Fahrenheit is not healthy!

It feels a lot like staying in a college dorm room, with people constantly coming in and out. The bathroom also has a very dorm-like feel. On the positive side, the location is convenient. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the train station. The staff members are friendly and helpful, which made the stay a bit better. One issue is the shower is push to start and last about 3 mins.

When I got there it was quite late, around 2200hrs. They didn't have my reservation in their system but they did manage to get me into a room and provided complimentary breakfast to make up for it, which was very nice!

The location is great - essentially next to the metro and La Rambla, everything you need is there.

Showers are in a shared shower room with individual stalls. The showers run on a timer, so you have to either hold the button down or restart the water every 10 seconds. The shower stalls are also quite small, so it's tough to bring things in to change into after.

The bathrooms are also shared bathrooms down the hall from the room, annoying if you have a top bunk and need to pee in the middle of the night, but tolerable enough.

In the mornings, the facilities are clean and ready for a new day. However, by around 1900hrs, it just smells like actual human poop everywhere on the floor except for your room.
Unfortunately, the person sleeping below me brought a guest for some \"adult time\" on my last night here and it was frustrating as the bed shook.

This is 100% a party hostel. If you're looking for a place to come back and relax for the evening, this is not the hostel for you.

If you're looking to socialize and go out to the clubs, they have good events that encourage everyone to interact with each other.

Personally, I won't be returning to a St. Christopher's hostel, but if you're in your early - mid 20's and want to party, this is the place for you!

Nice facility. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful-thank you! Property was constantly being cleaned. Problems were the door to the room was very loud when opening and closing. The 4th floor was very hot at night. Also, People sharing the room and being inconsiderate, listening to music, talking on the phone while others try to sleep.

Clean, efficient well run hostel. Fun activities—really geared toward younger hostelers. But not noisy or party-city. Attached bar and restaurant. Storage lockers (charge), towels charge)—nothing’s for free. But efficient kitchen, coin laundry and curtained bunks. Good restrooms. Great location.

I booked it because of the price and location, but the room was not circulated well and there was no shelf on the sink so there was no place to put my toiletries, which was very inconvenient. The kitchen had basic cooking utensils but no microwave, which was inconvenient.

Hostel is in a good and central area which made it very convenient. Beds are confortable, wide and they have a curtain that provides privacy. Bathrooms are clean and they they have plenty of them. I also liked that whenever a person would check out they would come and clean/ mop the room.

Poor experience compared to other hostels i’ve stayed in that are actually cheaper or with the same price. The hostel is not modern, you end up paying for many things that should be for free. I asked for a towel because it was included in the booking, they told me i should pay 4€ for it, (and 1,5€ each time you want to change it), the receptionist gave it to me when i showed the booking information.
You have to have coins to be able to use the laundry service, in 2024, which costed me extra 20€ to get cash from an ATM (withdrawal fees for foreign cards). it was the only time i needed cash during my entire stay in Spain. The laundry itself costs 6€, and you have to buy detergent for 1,5€ from the reception.
The storage space in the rooms is not safe, and you have to buy a Lock from the reception for 5,5€ or bring one with you which is something you don’t expect coming to a hostel in the center of BCN. it’s a shame to have that while the doors/elevators require to use the key card provided in the reception.
They also refused to change the bed sheet even though i stayed for 5 nights, and asked for it after my 3rd night!
The beds are not stable enough, so you keep hearing noises whenever someone is moving in theirs beds.. something I didn’t experience in others hostels.
Definitely not coming back to this property, and I don’t recommend it to anyone. There are much better and cheaper options.

The hostel was absolutely fine, comfortable beds and very clean. Hospitality by the staff was a bit iffy but what can you expect from a hostel that has so many guests? I wish we had access to the balcony outside cleaning hours, that wasn't outlined in the description the fact you couldn't.

It was difficult to climb to the upper bunk and even more dangerous to climb down.
Upon check in I was told there was a city tax of 4.67 Euros, as well as a refundable 2 Euro keycard deposit!
The lockable metal cage was secure for storing luggage, remember to bring a padlock to save a few $$$

The location cannot be beat. Right downtown by Las Ramblas in the heart of the action. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and beds have their own privacy curtain and power socket. There is also a huge wire cage under bed storage for your luggage, just bring your own lock to secure your stuff. Staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. I recommend this place to all who want a good place in downtown Barcelona.

The only thing I did like about this hostel is that it is in a good location. I was able to walk wherever I wanted to go the 2/7 days I stayed. I didn’t like the fact that the masks were not a big priority although there were signs everywhere (employees did not enforce them). I didn’t feel comfortable staying here, and it seemed everyone had something because you could hear people coughing everywhere. The snoring roommate was the last straw. I had terrible sleep because of her lol not something to blame on the hostel but people should be more considerate if they know they snore like a pig. Like come on. The place could have been kept cleaner too. Overall, it was a learning experience. I wanted to see what staying at a hostel was like, and I did not enjoy it at all. Turns out I like my privacy and my things not to be moved by an inconsiderate roommate.

My favorite hostel in europe

It's just an all around great hostel. For a digital nomad like myself I have a great internet connection to work. A comfortable bed. The room is thoroughly cleaned daily. Fantastic bar downstairs. Amazing staff. I couldn't ask for more. Two thumbs up!

The place to be if convenience is your top priority. This is a large hostel with numerous rooms. The only qualm that I had was that the main door of the female bathroom had to be opened to prevent steam from forming i.e. ventilation issues. This may be an issue for visitors who are weary of lack of privacy. Other than that, easy check-in and check-out service. Towel provided for free.

Great place if you're looking for a social space. It's super easy to meet people here. Service was awesome and friendly. Good wifi and air conditioning. Central location close to the metro and lots of places to eat. The bathrooms and showers were relatively clean, just smelled kind of gross. My roommates would be really loud and rowdy from late night to early am so catching sleep was only possible in the middle of the day. Not really the hostels fault but if you're looking to sleep during regular hours maybe consider that the crowd here is looking to party.

Loved it!

I don't have a bad thing to say about this place. Only stayed one night but this will definitely be my new go-to place in Barcelona. I really liked the setup downstairs. It's a chill place to have a drink and easily meet some new people. Overall very clean. Great Wifi. I was impressed to say the least.
* One thing to note is you need to supply your own lock for your stuff. They sell them at the front desk but it would be nice if there was some simple rental option.

Great stay. Right by the metro or the express bus to the airport.

The rooms are upgraded with comfortable mattress and duvet and the shower and bathroom were always clean.

Although they say they were a party hostel, i did not hear any noises at night (other than normal city noise) so i was happy as a 33-year old.

The location is fantastic. The rooms are spacious compared to some hostels in Barcelona.
Breakfast was a nice option. Book on their website for a complimentary breakfast.
The kitchen and lounge was very little equipped and unkept.
Service was okayish...it’s not a train station to give us short answers. We are guest. Smile. Make us feel welcome. A little goes a long way. But I guess it is a “train station”. 😏

Clean hostel close to everything

The rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean. Overall a good hostel and extremely close to everything in Barcelona. All the buses and trains are literally steps away. Its one block away from las ramblas and passeig de Gracia. Very Convenient and clean!.

Note that breakfast is only included if you book on THEIR web site. I pulled up their web site and showed where it said \"Every day there’s a free buffet breakfast ... Other awesome facilities and services include: A buffet breakfast is included every morning\" but they insisted it had to be booked on their site. I looked at the breakfast in the morning and decided to go elsewhere. Otherwise, the location was good, but definitely a party atmosphere. It was nice each bunk has individual curtains. The storage under the bed was squeaky and a metal cage so things could easily fall out or be taken out.
