We actually were moved to the H10 Metropolitan hotel.
Hotel was very clean and located well, just a half block from Placa de Catalunya. Staff were engaged and very helpful. Especially Alexia, who made sure every detail of our stay was addressed. She truly wanted our visit to be memorable.

Excellent location, really can’t get any better and more central. Really easy to use the trains and metro to and from the airport and Barcelona Sants station - the metro stop is literally right outside the door. Everywhere I wanted to see was walkable or easily accessible by metro. Bustling and safe at all hours of day and night. 24/7 front desk and security. My only dislike was the room I got. Probably my own fault when booking! The lift didn’t go up to the top floor so had to lug by own bags up the last two flights of stairs. The room was outrageously tiny - like a shoebox/dorm room - with no natural light and tiny frosted windows that slightly opened out onto an inaccessible part of the roof. I was actually a little taken aback. There was also only one power outlet in the whole room. I had to ask reception to provide a multi plug, which they did very quickly and kindly! I usually wouldn’t mind as I’m not in the hotel much when travelling as out and about. But it was an expensive stay and a bit claustrophobic feeling even as somewhere just to sleep. Overall would I would definitely recommend the place and would 100% stay again (in a different room). Just don’t book the essential single room I did!

This property was the perfect little boutique hotel right in the middle of all the action in Barcelona. The hop on, hop off bus stop is directly across the street. The staff were always more than willing to help with any questions we had. The room was very clean and had plenty of room. We ate breakfast here two of our three mornings we stayed. Quite good and had everything we needed to get our day started.

This hotel is in a very central position which is excellent for shopping and dining. All staff met were very helpful. Drinks in the bar were expensive and breakfast at 23 Euro's was likewise. My room was compact, and considering that it was at the front, was well noise dampened. The TV was a disappointment as it had hardly any UK based channels. In the morning, the maids began to pester if we werent out in good time!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel , decor is chic! Great central location to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Loved our room, it had a beautiful patio to enjoy. Arianna & Ivan friendly and helpful staff at front reception. Arianna very Welcoming & lovely.
Arrived early and they got us into our room before 3pm, we were very pleased. Later at night there was another front desk lady Carla. She should not be at front desk was rude & unpleasant when we came in from dinner . We had a Welcome drink served to us later in night upstairs by 2 guys who were fun loving and happy. Made us feel like family very welcomed and relaxed .(Sorry can’t remember their names, night of May 21st) They were outstanding!! We will highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay here. Would highly recommend as a small boutique hotel that takes care of so many of the small details- they included a small bottle of wine and glasses, a little chocolate box before bedtime, wonderful little cookies to go with our coffee and tea. A great little bar with complimentary little snacks in the afternoon and a comfortable sitting area next to the dining room. The room was very clean and medium sized with a neat little sitting area set off from the bed. Bathroom was clean, huge towels, plenty of hot water and shower worked well. Do need to be very careful with the footing in the shower floor which can be slippery. Hotel provides a disposable slip to place on the floor. Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful with local directions. Taxi rank immediately outside hotel had 5 cabs when we left at 8 AM. (We found to be cheaper and just as reliable as ride-share). Location is right in the middle of central Barcelona. Yet very quiet- our room overlooked an inside courtyard. Blackout curtains kept room dark overnight. Climate control worked well on AC and low quiet fan. We would give them 10/10 for value, comfort, and all the little pampering. Will absolutely come back here next time we're visiting.

We liked the location of the property. The staff was kind and helpful, very professional. They also brought some nice snacks and drinks as a nice welcome. The breakfast was very good. The room was quite small and it was difficult find enough space to open our suitcases. The bathroom was large and had some very nice amenities.

The hotel is in a great place in the city and it looks very nice. However the room was extremely small and the twin mattress were not connected to each other nor the the headboard. This meant the bed was constantly sliding apart and if you sit up in bed the mattress would slide away from the wall. Very annoying. I would recommend investing in the more expensive rooms.

What an amazing stay! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the H10 Plaza Catalunya. We were greeted with a glass of Cava and warm nuts during check in. Since our room was nit quite ready we were invited to their cozy salon area where we could have coffee tea and light snack-totally gratis. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom though a bit small offered amenities kits robes and slippers. The hotel was centrally located-near airport transportation, metro , and bus services. Plenty of restaurants and shopping also near the hotel. Las Ramblas was steps away. This was definitely a winner.

Location was excellent. Staff was very good. They gave me a bottle of champagne. As a single room it was extremely small. No place to put suitcase except on double bed. Elevator only went to third floor and I had to carry my suitcase to the fourth floor. Would not recommend staying in a single room here. Two people definitely would not fit in this room. The hotel was built in the late 1800's.

Nice Boutique Hotel in an Excellent location in the heart of Barcelona.
Rooms are small but nice and are well kept. I deducted one star for the amount of dust on the EXTERIOR of the elevator and its cage which is exposed and visible in the stairwell. It’s actually a really nice feature in the hotel but could use some attention. Inside the elevator was nice and clean.

Can't beat the location at the top of La Rambla.
Very small rooms, felt very cramped, and with shower that spilled out onto bathroom floor. I wanted to like it more, but it was in such a great location, we could handle a little cramping of our style. Love Barcelona, been twice now, and the city never disappoints.

The H10 Catalunya Plaza hotel is right at the heart of Barcelona. Nearly all the sights to see were within 1-2 miles of the hotel; which, for us, made it an easy walk. It is an active place, but the windows closed out the overnight sounds quite well.

The location is incredible. The staff are amazing and never get flustered, even with the line up at check in. They are very comfortable in English as well which helped us. The a/c was a little tricky but we asked and got it working after that. Hot water can be at a premium, especially at midday. It’s a spot we would definitely use again!

Great location right on plaza catalunya and Las Ramblas. Many shopping and restaurants. Airport bus is also 5 min walk. Can walk to casa Ballto and Casa Mila. The hardwood floor can make it a bit noisy at night but great amenities nonetheless. Got upgraded and had a bottle of cava and charcuterie in the room.

The big plus for this property was the location. It’s right at the beginning of Las Ramblas and central to everything. Right across the street from Taxi stand, the hop on hop off bus stations and the Aerobús shuttle bus to the airport. Plus the staff were very helpful and the property was very clean

If you’re looking for something close to the casino it’s a 5 min walk. The Spa is unreal but they shouldn’t charge guests the same price as non guests to use the facility. €15 is too much. It should be like €5 since you’re already paying for a room. Staff was overall ok but I stayed here for 17 nights and they were making a big deal about eating the welcome nuts from time to time. They are just nuts. You guys need to relax. They’re free at the bar. Due to this reason I won’t be staying here again because that’s just embarrassing.

Booked this hotel 10 months early in order to get the Plaza view. Arrived at hotel, gave us a back view room. Suspect they did it to make more money. They offered to move us to another hotel around the corner? No, I booked the Plaza view with balcony. Recommendation - call 2 weeks before and re-confirm your room.

That said, nice clean, and great location.

We like to stay in H10 Catalunya Plaza. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet. Good breakfast. Most important-perfect location (airbus, Metro, Hop-on-hop-off, taxi ). Our tours started very close to our hotel location. A lot of good restaurants and bars around. Gothic Quarter is in a walking distance. Will stay again!
