The room was decent, nothing special. Rooms weren't cleaned before 3/4 in the afternoon which was unpleasant coming back to rest mid day and then being \"kicked out\" by the cleaning crew. Hotel has potential, location was good, majority of staff were friendly.

Hotel is an easy ride from the airport via aerobus. Metro, city buses, the hop on and off buses and taxis are all within one block. Lots of shops and eateries everywhere. The hotel was wonderful, staff was excellent. Very nice.

Amazing location!

You cannot beat the location of this hotel!! We were able to walk so much of Barcelona city center! The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful! I booked thinking they're was a rooftop bar but there wasn't. The hotel does have a very nice garden terrace just outside the restaurant which was nice.

Very good location. In the heat of the Ramblas. Price was high for one night. Room layout is different. The lighting system in the room is kind of inconvenient , there is no way to turn on the washroom light without having to turn on the entire room light. The sink in the middle of the room is kind of hard to use without wetting up the bedroom floor unless you pull the privacy door. Breakfast was a solid 2/10.

Hotel is situated in a fairly busy street. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by hotel staff. Checked in was a breeze. Particular kodos to the young porter Mohamed who helped with the luggage and made suggestion to a nearby restaurant within walking distance which served excellent breakfast. Our room was fairly spacious. Bathroom is uniquely looking, with sliding door closing the toilet and the shower. We did not eat at the hotel and thus cannot comment on its dining offerings. La Rambla street is virtually a block to the left as you walk out of the hotel. A hop-on hop-off bus station from the private bus company is right in front of the hotel. The blue-line station from the city-provided Barcelona Bus Turistic is just a block away across the street. A lot of restaurants and shopping are close by. In other words, the location is quite prime for a visit. But be aware that this part of Barcelona has busy and large streets and so the walk can be daunting and tiresome after awhile.

We wanted to try out different eateries around this absolutely beautiful city and so had our meals outside of hotel and found that local food was excellent. Barcelona is vibrant with young, beautiful people. Will need taxi ride - which hotel staff helpfully and promptly arranged - to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral and Park Guell, the two attractions that we visited. We wish that we could have stayed more than our 2-day stay and do highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely return ourselves.

The people and location of this boutique hotel were on point. This is located right in the busy part of town, so be ready for the fun of the crowd. Insider tip...the business center (2nd floor) has snacks all day, including champagne, sandwiches, pastries, and an espresso machine for free. Upon arrival there was a nice welcome, friendly concierge and staff, they provided a mini tour of the room to show where everything was located. We stayed in a deluxe suite with an excellent view of the Plaça and was very quiet. The suite had a separate room with a Queen bed and then another room with a Queen sofa bed that had its own tv. We had our own bathrobes and slippers as well. The shampoo and soap was very nice and the jacuzzi tub was nice to use after a long day of walking. Location was amazing and close to transit, a taxi stand, and walkable to La Rambla and the Gothic Quarter. The breakdown buffet offerings were tasty and well stocked. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Staff was very helpful and friendly hotel is very clean and breakfast was wonderful with a myriad of choices. Location is close to shopping and transportation. Many stores and restaurant around and faces the main square. The rain shower was wonderful with excellent flow of warm water no limit. The amenities, like the gym, however, is located offsite close enough but I didnt have time to go so i cant grade it fairly.

The hotel has great location. Right off the center plaza in Gothic Quarter. Convenient to shops and attractions. The hotel is small, but clean and tastefully decorated. We booked the Premium Triple Room,City View. The room, is a bit tight with the sofa bed folded out tbat left very little room for fridge and desk access. We didn't get City View but view of the back of some old historic building which was rather interesting. The staff was courteous and attentive. Hotel didn't have a pool but offered access to a health club 8 minute walk away. We didn't take advantage of this. An on-premise pool would have been nice. The restaurant looks nice, but it was a bit upscale for our taste (hubby and son prefers pastas and pizzas :).

The biggest gripe we had was the design of the bathroom. It was an open-style bathroom with frosted glass panels that did not provide much privacy. It may have been ok for single person or a couple, but it was rather awkward for a family with a teenage boy. We were offered to upgrade to a suite room which has private bathroom for additional $50 a night. But we already unpacked and spend one night, it was not worth it moving. I felt since they had the suite available, it would have been better if they offered a free upgrade. After all we were already paying $400/night. I guess for the money, I was expecting a bit more. But overall, we enjoyed our stay. Barcelona is beautiful and the hotel location was very convenient.

We had a terrific stay at the Olivia Plaza over three nights in Barçelona. The location is excellent with easy access to transit from the Airport (Aerobus drops you less than 300 metres from the hotel entrance. Easy access to La Rambla and easy access to the metro. The staff was friendly and the Olivia Plaza had the best shower we have had in a very long time! Rooms were very clean and modern. We would stay here agin for sure when we are in Barçelona next.

This property needs some updating, balconies need a paint job, internet didn’t work for the last day and a half, had to use my own WiFi time then charged me 12 euros for the two beers I drank from the fridge??

This property is across the street from first stop for the bus to the airport which made it very convenient. It is on the edge of the gothic quarter providing easy access to churches, shopping, dining, metro, and the Picasso Museum. The hotel was very well done! The doorman and desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Facilities were wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent Hotel in an Excellent Location

The hotel was very nice and modern and located in a perfect area for exploring the city. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the plaza and the views at sunset were amazing. The room itself was nice, relatively standard. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially everyone at the front desk. They did a great job cleaning the room each day. My only complaint is the bathroom. There is one sliding door for both the shower and toilet and it was extremely difficult to close completely inside either one and impossible to close both simultaneously. I swear designers come up with the weirdest and worst ideas for hotel bathroom doors. Just throw a normal door on there. Anyway, everything else about the hotel, room, staff, location, etc. was amazing and we enjoyed our stay (and room service on our final morning).
