Location was perfect for commuting or walking to major sights. It was a bit confusing that the address provided vs the actual location was a bit off — no big deal.

There is construction right outside the building at the moment and it was quite noisy in the mornings. We were situated on the first floor and our room was noisy. Air conditioning was not adjustable in our room.

Room was clean and comfortable, but basic. As expected for description and price paid for our stay. WiFi was good and there was housekeeping daily if required.

I choose the Suite based on phots. But what I got is very different and realized it is not suite. Photo shows windows and balcony. But my room does not have those. My wife says the room was like the jail. I paid more than $1300 for 3 night. It doesn't make sense room for those price doesn't have windows to see outside... This property needs to put the right images for customer to select properly.

Room was spotless, clean bathroom. Nice comfy beds. Staff was very courteous and let us check in early without any issues. Location was superb, close to amenities, coffee shops, restaurants, major city center area. Overall a great experience, worth the money spent.

We had a little bit of confusion when we first arrived because we went to the apartment building, not the hotel. The lady we spoke to on the phone was very kind and helped us find our way (if you find the cafe El Fornet, look a few doors to the left!)
Check in was quick and efficient, our room was great with a lovely little terrace overlooking the city. The location is excellent, everything is walkable, so close to Las Ramblas and surrounded by many great restaurants.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The hot water ran out after just one shower, and staff said we had to wait over an hour for it to heat up again. The AC wasn’t blowing any air near the bed. When maintenance came, they explained that only part of the room could be cooled, which meant the sleeping area stayed hot and uncomfortable. Definitely not what we expected for the price.

First time in Barcelona. For checkin, you have to call the number as noone is by the front door to let you in. The check in staff- the two ladies were very nice and helpful. They give you some tips on dining which we did every one of them. Tapas at La Flauta and Cuitat comtal. 4 Cats restaurant were amongst the better ones. Location has restaurants and shopping all around . Las Ramblas was a 10-15 min walk. We were a family of 4, and booked the bed with sofa bed for 3 nights. We had a room on the highest floor. The Room looks bigger in pictures, it was very tight for the 4 of us but that was ok as we came back to the room at night to sleep. The sofa bed creeked non stop. They have tea and coffee in the rooms. Bathroom is a good size. The biggest issue was the air conditioning and the main reason I’ll not come back here. The room was like a furnace. Only one area of the room had some breeze. I went to bed sweating every night. I told the staff everyday and was told they’ll reset it, or have maintenance look at it. The staff even came to check it out the first day and he said it’s very hot here. On the last day he even said he’ll try and provide a fan but there was never any follow up from their side on any of the days. If you need a cooler room this place isn’t for you. It got unbearable and we couldn’t wait to leave. I waited to give this review till after i stayed at our next location which was also a two star hotel. Air con was amazing, bigger rooms, better facilities.

Really great place to stay in a central location. Walkable to major sites and transportation. The staff were super friendly and gave us lots of local advice. The room is well laid out and worked for a family of 4. The location is in a busy area. If you live in a city/urban areas, the noise won’t bother you. If you are from a rural area you might find it a bit loud. Would definitely return.

Property was close to all attractions which we could walk to or take metro. Very convenient and lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Staff were amazing and it was a nice surprise to have daily housekeeping (we rarely get this anymore).
The room could use a good dusting on the not so common areas, but otherwise very clean. Someone commented that you could hear the subway but it is very minimal and did not disturb us at all. I would recommend.

Nothing like the description

Noisy like unbelievably noisy and I’ve stayed in lots of city’s. An old office building converted with no clear entrance and shared access.

Rooms are dangerous with full floor to ceiling doors that opened with no guard! We had 2 young children this was a major issue.

Stayed in the city several times would avoid this everytime!

This hotel was so pretty. It is a smaller hotel so you aren't in a hotel with hundreds of other loud and disrespectful people. It is on a street with lots of shopping and tapas places which is super fun. The workers here are very nice, speak English, and very reachable. We were on our spring break trip and they were so helpful with telling us where to go, how to be safe, and understanding with our travel situations as younger adults. I would absolutely book with them again. Thank you!

Don’t stay here if it costs you more than $100

This hotel is old, there are no amenities, no one there to help you after 8pm, you can hear EVERY sound in the hallway at all hours. One of the worst and weakest showers I’ve ever taken. Expensive. The only positives are that the room is large with a full couch and one door down from a great bakery. Central location.

We stayed for a few nights at Serennia Exclusive Rooms and we were so impressed with the customer service we received. The staff wad very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. They took the time to ensure we had everything we needed in terms of understanding the best way of getting around the city using public transportation, where to go for sightseeing and dining. Check out was at 11:00 am but our flight didn’t leave until close to 11pm so they stored our luggage safely in the office, and gave us access to their lounge area several times throughout the afternoon so we could wait and rest until they closed at 8:00pm. They also offered to make all the arrangements for transportation to the airport. We couldn’t have asked for more, they were extremely helpful which made our stay so much more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and will book with them again the next time we visit Barcelona.

We found the Suites centrally located and we walked most places. There were many options for food around us as well as transportation. The check in process was very smooth and we were able to store our luggage for the day. Our room was facing the street so there was quite a bit of noise especially on the Saturday night. The room was spacious for 4 of us and very clean. Would stay here again.

Great location in the middle of all of the energy. We loved looking out the window and feeling like we were right in the action. Close to subways and between walking and the subways, we were able to get everywhere we needed easily. Close to many good restaurants. It was loud, but that seems to be somewhat expected in the middle of a lively city. A Saturday late night outdoor concert added to it all! Ear plugs are a must and did the trick for us. Clean and good air conditioning.

Hotel is located in a busy and central area. Close to shopping, restaurants and transportation. Room has A/C. Only confusing parts is upon arrival. When you arrive, take elevator to attic level (office) and check in. We checked out at 4am and unsure where to leave keys so left in room. All else was good.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. They provided us with a kettle, a coffee maker and an iron as well as an ironing board. We enjoyed the complimentary water, coffee, tea and cookies. What was not convenient was the set of stairs to climb up with our suitcases before we could reach the elevators.

This location cannot be beat. It’s about a 5 min walk to Plaza Catalunya, with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Right below is a fantastic bakery that always had lineups.

The room was spacious for our family of four. There was a double sink in the bathroom which was handy. The lady who checked us in was super helpful, offering lots of advice.

The air con worked great, as did the wifi. I would highly recommend this hotel

Excellent location. Very walkable to the main tourist areas, but also quiet enough.
The rooms could have been better cleaned. The doors and curtains were quite dirty.
The staff were nice and polite but they are not in the lobby. you have to go to the top floor to speak with them and they are not there 24-7. So if you are doing a late checkin be prepared to pay for roaming charges so you can get a hold of someone.
Also note that there is no elevator on the main entrance. You have to take your luggage one level up before you can access the elevator. There seemed to be an accessible option in the elevator but wasn't working and I am guessing you had to go all the way upstairs and asked one of the staff to unlock it for you.

Just returned from a stay here with my daughters. Our suite was really nice and we had everything in our room we needed. It is in a very convenient location with lots of cafes bars shops and restaurants within walking distance. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and recommended restaurants and also helped us with directions and how to purchase metro tickets etc. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I was very happy with my choice to stay at Serennia Exclusive Rooms. We stayed in room 303. It was much more spacious than a normal European hotel room, had a wonderful floor to ceiling bay window which overlooked the city street, a king sized (very comfortable) bed, there was a large sitting room between the bedroom and the bathroom, a big bathroom with a huge walk in shower (wheelchair accessible), a huge Hisense smart tv, a refrigerator, hair dryer, safe and tea kettle with tea bags, sugar, coffee cups, sugar and spoons provided. The room was very clean. There was an lift operating to make it easy to bring luggage to the rooms. The location is perfect because you can walk to all the sights. The airport bus drops off about a block away. The metro is available at the nearby Plaça de Catalunya stop. There are many, many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. There was absolutely nothing we wanted for during our stay. I cannot fault this place for any reason. The staff is gracious and helpful. They offer a locked closet to store luggage. We opted not to purchase their very reasonably priced continental style breakfast (5 Euros). There was a bakery just a few doors down that provided us with a tasty alternative breakfast. Overall we had a great stay here and I would most definitely recommend this establishment to family and friends visiting Barcelona.

Location, location, location!

I selected this hotel because of the location. It's on Calle Mayor, across the street from Plaza Mayor. Chocolatería San Ginés is around the block. Puerta del Sol is three blocks away one way, and Mercado San Miguel is one block the other way. The apartment is comfortable, nicely furnished, good wifi and with plenty of amenities. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel was excellent in all respects. We were able to check in a bit early and the area was explained. The location is perfect for seeing all the sights. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect and the coffee excellent. Don't hesitate one second to book this hotel!

Nessun servizio è presente in struttura e la pulizia è abbastanza scarsa (lenzuola macchiate, capelli e polvere trovati un po' dappertutto). Inoltre ci sono portefinestre che danno sul vuoto e non su un balcone senza alcuna sicurezza. La posizione però ottima per visitare la città
