Booked single room with privatedl bathroom. Room is small but clean and bathroom is clean too. Check in staff are friendly and explained well how to enter the main building. They also have a common area for having free coffee and common fridge to store your food if any. The location is also very accessible with metro or from the Airport bus too. Walking distance to famous spots such as la rambla or casa batllo etc. There is also a convenience store right outside the building. And nearby restaurant etc. The AC works fine too and there is a small tv too and have a shampoo and shower gel too in the bathroom.

I loved the location, very central to the Universitat metro station which made getting around the city very easy! Definitely thinner walls here so you hear what’s going on around you, but the bed was comfy and had everything you need!

It was in walking distance to a lot of things and there were cabs or bike rentals close by. The building was interesting with the retrofitted elevator in the middle of the stairs like I only seen in movies. The AC worked super well getting the room nice and cold. Although a pumping problem caused a big drop in my rating otherwise it would have been a 4-4.5. Also the night person not speaking English made resolving the issue even more stressful.

Hostal Delfos provided a good value for the money… I stayed here 2 nights and chose the most economical room which was very small, but clean, and it did have a private bathroom. Some of the rooms do share a bathroom. Air-conditioning worked fine… Plenty of hot water. There is a common kitchen that can be utilized… Small fridge, microwave, dishes, etc. free coffee, and tea was a plus! Suzanna greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful to provide restaurant recommendations. The other female staff were also very friendly. It is conveniently located by the university Metro stop, or you can also take the bus straight from the airport as I did for five euro and be dropped off fairly close. The place is nothing fancy, but as I said, good value and I would be happy to stay here again for a few nights.

Great location, super close to main strip and also transport links. We stayed here with my young child and it felt very safe. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They have a little childrens table and a couple of toys in the communal area, which I thought was nice. A little loud at night with street traffic etc, however my son still managed to sleep through it all. Would recommend!

I made the mistake of booking a cheap room with shared bathroom. Noise all night, doors banging, I could hear people snoring in room next to me. Poky little room. Shower dirty. Wouldn't stay there again. In fact I cancelled another night I had already booked.

Stayed one night and left early in the next morning. Great to store our luggage when we got off the cruise ship in the early morning, allowing us to sightseeing without carrying our luggage. Friendly staff greeted us ( believed to be the management) who spoke good English and gave us a designated bathroom. Great location and close to everything making it a great stay in Barcelona. I stayed in a single room. It was extremely tiny, the window opened into a light well but it was still quite dark. But it was quiet and the location was good and very easy to get too from the airport.If you are used to backpacking and just want somewhere to kip for the night ,this is a cheap option. But if you want more space and comfort you need to go else where.

Avoid this place at all costs, it's dreadful ! The management is only interested in taking your money and sending you away as fast as possible. It is quite expensive for what it is so I would recommend to add a couple bucks and stay in a better place.
The location is good though, very central and just near the metro. It is by far the only thing this place has going for itself.
The hostal is actually two storeys of an ordinary apartment. Not a very nice one at that, either.
We had to wait the better part of an hour to get to our rooms (the manager was at lunch break). There, we found out that even though we had asked for a double bed, we had separate beds. Keep in mind that we were the only guests at the hostel at the time and there were available rooms with double beds and also that the room we paid for was advertised as having a double bed.
Furthermore, the manager hammered on our door early in the morning following our first night to kick us out and did not believe us when we explained that we had booked and paid for two nights. We actually had to prove it to him, which was hard to do because apparently they had never heard of the internet (based on their surprised look when we asked if they had it).
Add to this the fact that the rooms are quite small and that the bathroom is shared with (potentially) the guests of a dozen rooms, there aren't many advantages to staying there.

Hostel op loopafstand van Ramblas.Kamer klein maar netjes en schoon. Badkamer op zich prima.Ergerg gehorig en slecht sluitende deuren waardoor extra geluiden/overlast. Laatste nacht ontzettend veel lawaai tot 2/3u in de nacht door hard roepende Spanjaarden.Als je alleen een slaapplaats nodig hebt is dit een prima onderkomen.

Muito bem localizado em Barcelona, com estação de metrô na porta, uns 600m da Praça Catalunya e pontos turísticos. Atendimento gentil, limpo, com várias opções de restaurantes e supermercados no entorno. É um Hostal, não um hotel. Fiquei por duas vezes.. uma num quarto pequeno, individual e com banheiro.. e outra vez em um quarto maior, com banheiro privativo. O quarto individual foi mais silencioso do que o maior, que estava voltado para a rua. Foi o melhor custo x benefício que encontrei para apenas dormir e deixar meus pertences. É um prédio antigo, adaptado para ser um hostel. Sua experiência dependerá da localização do seu quarto e do respeito que os outros hóspedes terão em não fazer barulho nas áreas comuns, para não afetar o descanso dos outros apartamentos. Em resumo: gostei, voltaria e indicaria, lembrando que é um Hostal, que sua experiência dependerá do quarto e do respeito dos outros hóspedes.. mas se vc quer pagar menos e ficar bem localizado, o atendimento, limpeza, segurança e atendimento compensam.

La puerta principal por fuera no da mucha confianza y las escaleras no están muy limpias pero ya adentro está todo ok. El personal super amable.

Appena arrivata in struttura entrata non stupenda ma non era importante, sono salita e mi ha accolto una signora che mi tuttavia diede una camera senza finestre e con bagno condiviso, nonostante avessi prenotato per una con bagno privato e finestre. Dopo aver chiesto spiegazioni ,i ha indirizzato alla principale che mi ha rimborsato la differenza tra le due camere e si è scusata dicendo che non erano disponibili. Non nascondo che ero un po’ contrariata perché non era quello che mi aspettavo una volta arrivata….ma avevo prenotato solo per una notte quindi non è stato un problema così ingestibile. Mi sono adattata e devo dire che la camera era piccola ma confortevole e pulita dotata anche di mini lavandino, mentre il bagno in comune, essendo in formato singolo era comodo in più molto spazioso dotato di doccia pulita e bidet per chi non se lo aspettasse; bastava segnalare con una luce esterna che era occupato. Nel complesso sono stata bene, poi un punto forte della struttura è la posizione centralissima dalla quale sono arrivata a piedi, godendomi le strade della città, alla casa Batillò per poi arrivare alla Sagrada. Per chi non volesse camminare troppo c’è una fermata della metro a 20 metri dall’hotel che in due fermate vi porterà alla Sagrada e in più si incrocia con la linea per l’Aeroporto.

Para los dueños del hotel: Me parece una verguenza ajena ofrecer una habitación que está en frente de la entrada del hotel, la entrada que no se cierra, entra ruido, através de los huecos de la puerta de esta habitación entra luz por la noche. No he podido descansar nada, entraba ruido, parecía que estoy durmiendo en la calle. La habitación es muy muy pequeña con ventana al patio con mucha humedad. Hay que avisar que tipo de habitación es. Y poner fotos de ella. Para que el cliente tenga la opción de ver que le espera… muy decepcionada.

The air conditioning didn't work. The window was surrounded by rooms and a very ugly and dirty wall. The top of this area was closed, so no change of air, it was hot even when the temperature outside was cool.
