Clean room, comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Good variety of choice at breakfast. Free hot drinks afternoon/early evening. I really cannot fault the hotel itself.
My only dislike was that the hotel was located right on the edge of a rough neighbourhood which left me feeling uncomfortable when outside. My advice on leaving the hotel is to turn right, not left!

Many options to eat very nearby besides tapas make it very convenient after walking all day. Smash Hiro (burgers), Raval pizza, fried chicken, hot dog, tex-mex, 365 (pastries and sandwiches), kebbabs, and shwarma. Between 2 Aldi supermarkets. Lots of small fruit shops. Can get loud at night (ask front desk for ear plugs) and lots of graffiti but completely safe. First impression of street might not be good but it grows on you and has lots of character. Lucky Schmuck bar is supposedly on the list of best bars in the world. Room was a bit small but clean and well maintained.

A small hotel in an up and coming area. A walkable neighborhood with markets, bakeries and food places. Lots of families walking around and it was close to public transportation. We did not do the breakfast but enjoyed the coffee, tea and hot chocolate at night. We were there during severe rainstorm and they even had umbrellas to take.

George at front desk was a wonderful help to our travel party. Breakfast was consistently delicious and plentiful. Location was great - local neighbourhood dining options, as well as a short walk to La Rambla. General manager (whose name I did not learn) was also very helpful and pleasant.

Very very small rooms, if you are just going back to your room to sleep then it is fine. We only interacted with 2 different front desk staff and one gentleman was extremely warm and friendly, the other was more lukewarm.
Breakfast buffet for 13€ is very good, there is hot savory options, sandwiches, fruit, pastries , lactose free milk and various juices. Lots of late night food options and grocery stores near by.

Great stay . Great location . Amazing staff

The hotel is in a perfect location. The metro stations are only 5-10 walking minute distances. The hotel is located near las ramblas and La boqueria (8 mins walk ). If you want to visit La sagrada familia, it’s only about 15 minutes away in metro (with walking to metro time calculated)
The place was really clean. We arrived 2 hours early but we stored our luggage in the storage and walked towards las ramblas to feel the vibe. When we came back an hour later , the room was ready at 2 o’clock bearing in mind check in was 3 o’clock. So we were able to access our room a bit early due to the help from staff.
The staff were very nice and helpful and provided us with great service and booked our taxi transport to airport at no added cost.
I will return again and I will recommend this place to my friends and families.

Overall rooms were fine. Stayed there 2x in 2 weeks time and both sets of rooms were decent. First room was a corner and was larger than the 2nd interior room I was given on my 2nd stay. The safe in my 2nd room wouldn't accommodate my laptop so there's that. Buffet is ok for what it is and is a convenient spot if you're to tired to explore. The hotel is centrally located to amenities but is on the grittier, seedy vibe being in a narrow alley. Trash and loud activity at night is common. I was fine walking around at night but some may find issue with it.

This property was in a dangerous part of Barcelona. We could not walk to any restaurants after dark or pubs. We were advised to get a cab. It is in a high crime area. I'm extremely disappointed that Expedia did not resolve the matter. I rely on Expedia to offer me safe options and good locations with accurate reviews and hotel details. The hotel was convenient to nothing located in an area you could not get a taxi unless you pre booked. The accommodations were basic and not what I expected.

Oh my God!! What can I say? My experience sucked.. they offered me a shuttle service from de airport to hotel and idk what happened, but they had us waiting for an hour and 20 min. Still, we ended up taking a taxi. The lady in the reception was rude, or at least her tone. The staff as well. Idk, i just dont recommend this place, thats a shame because the hotel is nice, the breakfast is good, but the staff and the neighborhood, no thanks. Not worth it..

A nice hotel with very helpful team. Would be good to get a hot drink after 8pm. Area wise it's a little bohemian. The hotel is very well situated for the metro and within walking distance of a lot of attractions.
My room was very clean, great shower and good WiFi.

The hotel is modern and the rooms are clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The amenities were adequate. The location is a short walk to the underground train station Universitat. The only negative thing about my stay is that it‘s across a bar that closes at 2am and so it could be very noisy till even way after the bar closes if your room is facing the front side of the hotel. La Rambla and Plaça de Catalunya is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Nice hotel on the whole. Clean room, comfy bed. Had shampoo, body wash, hand soap and a dental kit as part of the room. Nice waterfall shower too. Quite basic to be honest and it was quite noisy on the weekend nights that we stayed - if you have a problem sleeping with noise then this might not be the hotel for you! The staff at the front desk were excellent. Very helpful and spoke perfect English. The location of the hotel was ok, within walking distance of La Rambla. Only issue was no English tv station and house keeping did not change sheets or clean area around bathroom sink. Besides those two issues I would recommend this hotel. Staff was great.

For a two star hotel I felt that it was a very high standard. The whole hotel was spotless, secure, good standard of furniture, lovely breakfast and a nice added touch of having hot drinks available all day in the dinning room.
We were unable to make breakfast one morning as we were out early. The staff supplied a packed breakfast FOC.
The surrounding area was a short walk from las rambles making it a great central location for all of our activities. Outside the hotel is a busy area and at first I was concerned about the noise from local bars and restaurants but the sound proofing was amazing!! I would definitely stay here again… great value for money!!

Booking via hotels.com was not as easy. I had my reservation cancelled after receiving a message from the property saying that my credit card was “invalid”, although my booking was confirmed in this website and via email. I also paid the “breakfast included” option but upon checking out they wanted to charge me separately. In the end everything worked out just fine. The hotel is very nice but it is located in a noisy, sketchy area.

Be Aware of Too much NOISE & Sketchy neighborhood

The only perfect thing about this property is its location. You can literally walk from this property to any landmark in the city with no need for taxi.

Cons:

1. room is extremely small if you have more than 1 luggage
2. The street where the hotel is located is not a great location
3. It is super super loud up until 4 or 5 AM, if you would like to sleep do not get a room here
4. The reception need to increase their knowledge in speaking a proper English

We loved it!

This place was wonderful! The room was very clean, modern and efficient. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. The location is also good because you are near so many things and so many good restaurants. People had previously complained about the noise at night, but we didn't find that a problem, at least in our room, we did not hear it. The only thing we would be happier with, is if the TV had more than one English speaking channel. The staff was very accommodating to us and very pleasant. We would stay here again.

Amazing location! My husband and I stayed here for one night after traveling all day. I was a little nervous because it was located on a really busy street, however the room was incredibly quiet! We honestly had one of the best nights of sleep in this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent only down fall we had to pay, but free coffee. I would absolutely recommend this place. The area was so fun! Very walkable.

Simple but GREAT!

The room has a minimalist feel. It's clean, modern, and small. While the hotel is next to a busy one way street, the noise from outside didn't bother us. My mom, who is very particular, loved the hotel and the service and she insisted we rebook at the hotel after having visited other European cities. The receptionists were really helpful too. They were informative on how to get around the city, and they booked our taxis to take us back to the airport/train station. The hotel is a few minutes walk away from Las Ramblas and a lot of the touristy spots. We didn't try the breakfast because there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. I would truly recommend staying here!!

Great location for a couple on a budget.

It was a very good hotel for the 2 nights we were there. It was a cozy room but perfect for a couple on a budget. It was within walking distance from the metro and in a very young artsy location. Not sure I would recommended for older couples or families with children but people who enjoy locations with a lively atmosphere. Definitely research that area of barcelona.

Our stay at the hotel was very good. The location was very close to transit and metro hubs. It was also walkable to the many of the sights and neighbourhoods. There are not a lot of amenities, but the staff were amazing and the security was very good. The only downfall is that there is a famous skate spot (cool to watch and experience the culture) nearby, but at night you can hear the skateboards on the sidewalks as they head home.

The hotel is in a cool edgy location, minutes from the Metro. A 10-minute walk and there's the famous food market, and another 5 minutes and you're in the Gothic centre. Staff are very friendly and kind. The room did face a noisy street, but it didn't bother us.
