Staff were super helpful, room was spotless and had everything we needed.
Free snacks were a nice bonus, the honesty rooftop bar very nice for pre or post-dinner drinks (very nice choice of drinks, esp the pre-mixed Old Fashioned).
The location is ideal to visit on foot.

Pour le propreté, j’ai rien à dire les femmes de chambre passer deux fois par jour et j’étais vraiment surpris, il ne manquait jamais de rien. Il y avait des petits snack l’après-midi fruits et pâtisserie qui étaient toujours frais. La chambre, elle regardait vers la rue, mais c’était vraiment très très silencieux et tranquille. I rarely, if ever, give a negative hotel review so I apologize in advance. The lobby is minimalist, with a bench and a table for newspapers and magazines, and what appears to be a recycled meat case with Casa Camper swag for sale. The breakfast area is also in the lobby. The breakfast area has a few self-serve premade pastries and sandwiches, and followed by a cooked-to-order order menu of items (overall very fresh, tasty). There wasn't a balcony, and the view was another building across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The location was perfect for us! My rating for the overall cleanliness is due to the \"all-day\" snack area having flies on the uncovered bakery items, including dead ones in a basket of unwrapped cookies, so we avoided the free snack items. An employee removed the basket of cookies when I showed him the dead flies, but they (hopefully different cookies) were back on the table later, still uncovered. The hotel, signage, and decor admittedly aren't my taste but at $500+ US per night and with a Four Star rating seemed far, far, far from any four star I've ever stayed in anywhere around the world. The room furnishings in our room said Shaker Inspired but seriously, and not being harsh, it wouldn't be out of place in a college dorm room. This property and I definitely weren't a match, and I'm aware, and booked here, based many great reviews from people who really liked the hotel. I included a few pics.

Our room was not what we expected. Dark. On first level with a patio that had few plants and they called this garden view. They offered room accessible across our room that was filthy and very old few furniture. We did not use it afraid of bed bugs in the seat cushion.

The first thing you have to compliment about this hotel is the staff. I was dubious as I read prior reviews. How good could they possibly be? But, they are that good. Friendly, helpful and very accommodating to whatever we needed. We had a corner suite which is a large and very nice room. Breakfast was good and I would recommend a package that includes breakfast. I would come down early and get a cup of coffee and then we would return a little later in the morning to eat. As others have noted, there are not coffee makers in the room. The rooftop area is nice, but does not have any service other than an honor bar. La Rambla is just blocks away and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. We probably liked the hotel we stayed in last year in the Gothic Quarter a little better, but this is a very good choice also

This hotel has a clever design. I’ve never seen anything like it! Love the shower pressure! The rooftop area is nice & relaxing also the bar in the lower level was very cool. The staff, service, location and snacks were good but I was surprised that the room was very basic with no closet or dresser to put your clothes. I shared the room with a friend and I had the bedroom and they had the living room with a sleeper sofa and both were very comfortable. The A/C kept the living room cooler than the bedroom and I was warm and my friend was cool. The room was called a suite but I expected something nicer for the price we paid.

A very pleasant stay in this well located hotel, just off La Rambla in the old town.
For this price, we expected a higher quality hotel, but that may just be the market in Barcelona.
Its vibe may not suit all travellers, but this hotel is a quality offering, with a focus on eco-friendly facilities. Our room was split, with a standard hotel room on one side, and a separate sitting room across the corridor.
Breakfast package was of a decent standard but not outstanding.

CasaCamper is fantastic. Clean, safe, absolutely wonderful staff. Front desk, bartender, all world class. Rooms is pretty spacious. Bathroom great. Large shower with good water pressure. Free Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available at a nice snacker/lounge. Good free newspapers. A room across the hall that is your own private room that has a hammock and TV. I did stretching in that room. A coffee area in the morning. A self serve honors bar. A regular bar with two pool tables downstairs. The location can not be beat. In the old town. We felt safe walking at night. Great restaurants nearby. The only downside was a never ending battle with intermittent Wi-Fi. When working it was good and fast, and often had a hard time getting on the Wi-Fi.

Our stay at Casa Camper was second to none. From the moment we walked in the staff was incredibly attentive to all of our wants and needs. They helped us arrange transportation from the airport when we got there, gave us dinner recommendations, arranged for taxis when we needed them and helped us mail a postcard back to the states. The staff went above and beyond. One of the biggest conveniences was a room available with snacks and drinks 24/7. Water, soda, juice, seltzer, milk, yogurt, granola, fruit, etc. any time so if you missed a meal or were just hungry in between or late night you have options and all of it is complimentary. That was not only convenient, but saves you from hitting a market or convenience store on your walk home.
The location itself is sort of hidden on a side street, but is conveniently located just 3 blocks off Las Ramblas where there is all of the shopping your heart desires. It feels like almost everything is walkable in Barcelona. We tended to walk 20 minutes to dinner and tours every day/night. If we ever return to Barcelona we would certainly stay at Casa Camper again and would recommend it to anyone else!

This is a super cool, very interesting and different hotel that manages to pull it all off and be unique and comfortable and functional. Eat anytime you want for free down in the lobby all healthy and good food even some junk food if you like coffee you can make yourself or bring bottled water back to your room, eat fresh fruit if you like with good yogurt. The beds were excellent the shower stall and the different heads you could use were very relaxing for us. I would totally go back to this hotel and would recommend it to anybody.

We finished our 2 1/2 week trip in Barcelona for just one night, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the hotel nearly as much as we would have liked. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location, very close to Las Ramblas but far enough away from the noise and commotion. The superior staff went way above and beyond to help us out of a booking miscommunication (my fault, not theirs). The room was beautiful and spacious, unlike most of our European trip. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Barcelona. We were traveling with 5 other couples and each one raved about the accommodations. Some of them were able to stay for several more nights so they got to enjoy it more than us. I can't recommend it highly enough.
