Very nice hotel in excellent location. The staff are extremely accommodating, and I have no complaints. I wish there was coffee in the room, but the property is adjacent to La Boqueria so coffee is nearby. I like that the heating worked, and wasn’t automatically controlled by the Hotel. I also liked that there was a working safe in the room. It was very, very quiet, and I was happy there. I will stay here again the front desk staff upon check-in was as nice as she could be.

The only downside was the construction on the boulevard, which started early in the morning and disturbed my sleep. The hotel was clean, and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was an additional fee.

Just what we needed!

This was a perfect one night stay in Barcelona. Being next to the Ramblas was a perfect spot to enjoy 24 hours in Barcelona from. The front desk services was friendly informative and they really cared about our experience. The rooms are bare bones, but you get a safe clean room in an extremely convenient location.

This is a cute Boutique hotel we reserved at the last minute from another country. I probably wouldn’t have chosen it in person at first. However, not only was this hotel pretty inside, it is surrounded by incredible shopping and restaurants. It’s in a busy area so think, Big City. I have no pictures of the hotel, but plenty of photos from around the area.

This hotel was perfect location. Located on La Ramblas with the Boqueria Market directly behind it. There was no noise however so no worries there. It was so cool watching the market come alive in the mornings from the small patio in our the room. French doors opened up to a beautiful view everyday. Metro is a few meters away, shuttle to the airport is a 5 minute walk to Plaça Catalonia. Taxis always nearby outside and countless restaurants just feet away. The hotel is small but was all we needed since most of our days were spent exploring the city. Shower was perfect. Needs more hooks like most hotels. We did not include breakfast. No need to with all the food surrounding us. There is a breakfast patio though where you can get a good view of the market. Front desk was very helpful and friendly. Good resource for information. Room was clean and contemporary. It was a great stay! Thank you so much!

Perfect location. The rumble from the all night metro at the weekend could be annoying but I went during the week and it stopped late at night. Was on 3rd floor and couldn't hear any late night noise. Comfortable room and good shower. I would stay here again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable, but nothing fancy. My only complaint is that I am too old to stay directly on La Ramble, but that oversight was my fault. It was noisy all night. However, if you are young and want to be in the center of everything, then it is the perfect place. I could have also chosen a room not facing the Main Street and probably been happier.

A great central location on Las Ramblas. The room was comfortable, with a large terrace overlooking the nearby food market; this was very special. Excellent sound proofing, so very quiet at night. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities.

Overlooking la Boqueria

This hotel literally overlooks la Boqueria which is very convenient but it also means you get a lot of noise at night. I heard one person screaming for literally three hours outside my window. Also, a loose manhole cover on the street meant a \"thump thump\" sound was loud and clear every time a car drove over it. Otherwise, a nice place in a convenient location. Its just noisy.

No Air conditioning, they turn it off from September to july, its only on for 2 months of the year. The hotel is like a furnice, so so so hot and eventually the heat starts to smell.

Just returned from 4 nights at the hotel, we stayed in the terrace room. Lovely stay, room nice and clean, staff friendly and helpful and the hotel is within walking distance to all popular areas. Large terrace and modern bathroom. Would happily stay again if returning to the area.

The hotel was adjacent to La Boqueria. We have stayed in this property a few years ago. The staff is nice and the hotel clean but this stay the air conditioner didn’t work at all and we were forced to sleep with the doors open facing the market. We asked about repairs and nothing ever happened. The fan never produced any air from the vents. The noise was loud and never stopped. After the market closed we heard cleaning and washing and the rolling of the garage doors most of the night and early mornings. With the doors closed it was quiet but it was very hot. They didn't offer any fan or to change rooms or anything to relieve the warm Nights. Disappointed!

We loved the location for our first visit to Barcelona. You are right on La Rambla and directly over the market. Everything was walkable and a cab stop right in front. As for the room. It had the potential to be good. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, all we did was \"try\" to sleep so we didn't spend much time in it. The worst issue was the SMELL,it was nauseating. It smelled just like the sewer on the street. Housekeeping cleaned the toilet, that didn't help. We left our balcony doors open and that cleared it out, but once they were shut the smell returned. Not only did it make us both feel ill, it gave me a terrible headache. Second the AC system did not work properly, it made a high pitched squeal when you ran it. The only reason we needed it was to try and circulate the terrible odor out, but it was too loud. The toilet made a terrible noise too when flushed that would go one for about a minute, no trying to get up quietly in the night. By the time you were overcome by the stench, the noise from the toilet had you wide awake. Finally, the subway runs underneath, be prepared for the rumbling and shaking almost all night. We left early and requested a refund for our unused nights, but it was denied. We didn't really care at that point, we were just ready to get out. Because of a convention the room rate was almost $400 a night, well over the original advertised price so it stung a little, but we didn't care. We were in room 201 for reference.

We chose this property because of the Boqueria. Its location to that area was great. We arrived very early in the morning and We were disappointed that there was no real lobby to wait it. There was a small sitting area on the 1st floor where they serve breakfast which we weren’t told about. However, there was enough in the area to walk around and get some breakfast. The rooms are a little small but comfortable. We were very happy with our stay overall.

Fantastic location for downtown la Ramblas

Always lovely to stay at this hotel, especially if you are able to get one of the terrace rooms overlooking la boqueria.
Great location and friendly check in staff.
Only downside this time was that there was some shop fitting going on below the room, which caused a bit of noise in the afternoon and although it didn’t last long, it would have been nice to have been informed of this when checking in.
Will definitely return here next time.

It’s central to the city of Barcelona so you can easily walk to many attractions shopping. The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is very clean & totally eco friendly. Our family of 8 stayed in 4 rooms at Exe Ramblas Boqueria for 2 nights. Our experience was excellent! The hotel was clean, perfectly cool on a hot day, extremely comfortable and offering amazing terraces and balcony options! Every single staff member went out of their way to assist our family and to make sure our experience was exceptional! The location was perfectly situated next to the best market in Barcelona, even though the hotel breakfast was wonderful! Very walkable area near the amazing Gothic Quarter too. I can not recommend this hotel enough! It's wonderful! :)

We stayed here 13 years ago and in this visit, nothing has been updated. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and rooms were basic. They were quiet and the balcony opened to the street and market (we had 2 rooms). The staff are kind but the hotel is dated and probably not up to it’s 3 star rating. We would not stay here again but the location is pretty ideal.

Central location and clean but not great for sleep

We have stayed at several Exe hotels and have always been pleased with the stay. I am a light sleeper, so when booking requested a room on a higher floor. When we arrived we were on the first floor next to the lift. When we asked to change rooms there were no rooms available. This was disappointing as it felt like we were never listened to, although the receptionists were pleasant. Although the location is very central which is useful, the constant people noise, traffic noise and vibrations of the Metro meant we had limited sleep. The room decor was nice and very clean. Disappointed compared to the service we have received from other Exe hotels.

I didn’t expect that this hotel doesn’t have a lobby, I was so shocked ! When you get IN, There’s only a small counter for checking in/out. No hair conditioner just shampoo which is makes my hair super dry and tangles. No coffee maker at all! No Full mirror in the room. The only thing I like was the location next to Boqueria market and the balcony. The breakfast was ok for $10

The small balcony overlooking the market that is accessible to everyone from the 1st floor was a nice surprise! We got to watch fireworks from the balcony one evening. The room was super clean and spacious. The breakfast is also very nice. Would definitely book again.

Anniversary trip. They gave us a corner room with 3 open balconette; great view of Ramblas and market. Front desk went above and beyond in making our anniversary special by providing a bottle of sparkling wine, fresh strawberries and chocolates; Aldo recommend an authentic restaurant for dinner. Great stay.

The only complaint about this lovely property was that the rooms were not sound proof as advertised. It was basically two sleepless nights. It would serve them well to update the advertisement suggesting it is a very exciting and busy area at night (all night ) Next time I will bring ear plugs as it was still worth the visit !

The hotel is right besides the market and walking distance to supermarket. Easy access to food, drinks. Metro is just mins away and airport bus stop is just 10 mins walk. Convenient location. Hotel reception area is small but the room is reasonably sized.

Perfect location for exploring Barcelona!

Absolutely incredible location, right at the entrance to La boqueria, this hotel is perfect for traveler’s wanting to be in the thick of it!
Yes you will need your earplugs but it’s a very small price to pay for the hustle and bustle of Barcelona street life!
The staff were lovely and wonderfully helpful especially Inara (spelling?) at the front desk who greets everyone with a warm welcome.
The room was on the first floor overlooking the front and side of the building and the wrap around balcony was perfect for people watching both day and night! And the fact that in theory you could see las ramblas whilst having a bath, is novel!
There is also a small terrace at the back of the hotel which is perfect for having a drink on, if you are on one of the upper floors.
I would definitely stay here again as it is perfectly situated to pop back in to throughout the day when you need a break from the heat! 5*

Great Hotel in a great location!

We got a corner room and had a view of the Las Ramblas from 2 balconies. The location of this hotel is perfect with an easy walk to great restaurants and the gothic quarter. The room was wonderful and well appointed, the bathroom was roomy with a great bathtub/shower combo. The bed was very comfortable and we had two twins pushed together which worked out great. We will stay at this hotel again if/when we get back to Barcelona.
