The property has a great location. Right in the heart of the Gothic quarter steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping and other famous sites. It was a quick five minute walk to the beach and another 10 minutes to Paso de Gracia. The staff was amazing. Peter took his time, explained tours, and we bought tickets directly through the hotel and overall amazing experience.

We stayed at this hotel twice. Staff were wonderful and caring both times but I have to mention Peter (Pedro) from the front desk. I got sick during the second stay; he advocated for me to have a tele health appointment (which resulted in the necessary treatment). I cannot say enough about how helpful Pedro was! Muchas Gracias!

great service! we had some questions about the ladder to the bunker bed, the stuff named Aquiles came to our room twice to help: first time he came to show us how to set up the ladder securely when my kid was sleeping in the upper bed; after my kid woke up, he came up second time and install an extra protection bar to the upper bed.

The property is not a four star. Luck to get two
To get to room needed to travers three sets of stairs, cross deck that was in need of repair,, broken patio stones, deck falling apart. Then take en elevator to reach floor.
Room service never answered nor did front desk by house phone.
No bar area nor good restaurant in-house

The location was great. the desk staff was excellent but I didn't get the walk in shower I requested twice. they were willing to switch but I had unpacked and it was too much trouble to move. My bed was too hard for me and they did a nice job trying to add a mattress topper and it was better. The room attendant did not replace mt cups for sugar or any of the supplies. She was also not friendly when I requested paper coffee cups. My dishes were still dirty and not replaced.
Dinner was very nice and good was good. Paella was also good but a bit expensive. Breakfast was 14 euros and was decent but my poached egg was watery but fine. At least it was soft yolks. My friend's eggs were overcooked.
I have mixed reviews of this place and may return bc of the location and it was near the Flamenco place we wanted to go to. Peter and Alicia were doing their best to accomodate us. Our taxi was on time picking us up to the aitp[ort

The property is beautiful, nice outdoor patio for breakfast or a night cap to relax in a quiet and cosy and beautiful setting. The room was nice, needed a bit of TLC though, the floor was damaged at some spots and the shower floor desperately needs to be freshened up, looked very worn. But other than those minor things, everything else was great.

Location is ideal, easy to walk to many points of interest, and the subway is steps away from the hotel. Would definitely recommend it!

Great location right in the old town close to the metro and still quiet. Grand old palace with large garden and courtyard, unfortunately the place needs a good handyman to fix the ok but not good maintenance issues (which did not effect our stay). Breakfast is great value.

I would love to come back to this hotel.

I love the location of the hotel. It’s 12 minutes walking distance from the Arch of the Triumph. The hotel has a very Parisian charm. The room is small but the bathroom it’s very good size. The breakfast is small but very good. And the breakfast attendant it’s very nice person.

Very convenient hotel in the Gothic Quarter right next to Las Ramblas on a pedestrian only street. The rooms were large and comfortable with good air conditioning on a very hot day. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we were all settled in (we had 7 rooms). The property itself is accessible and worked very well for the one guest who had a wheelchair. The breakfast was also very good and well laid out. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for comfort, convenience, and staff friendliness.

A great place for easy walking to shops and restaurants. The front staff is great; however, a little tricky to contact on the phone as often it was unanswered. Construction on the streets make it very noisy as well as the open courtyard with guests that really have no quiet time encouraged. We had to wake up at 4 am and had to listen to a huge family drinking and yelling until we had to go, leaving us is very little sleep and quiet time. The toilet had a major leak and the blow dryer, mini fridge and ac didn't function in our room.

A very large property that managed to feel intimate, and could not be in a better location in the heart of the Gothic quarter in Barcelona. Air-conditioning was cold, water pressure was good, and the garden area was so lush and beautiful. Staff was nice, breakfast was good, and the clientele was most mostly American. The staff got us an early check in, called us a taxi to our tour to Park Güell and La Basilica Família! The staff were helpful, sincere, kind and funny. The area has a lot to offer \"Ciao Ciao\" was very good for dinner and \"Milk\" was the best breakfast ever! There was a market 700 feet from the hotel that was totally amazing!! We walked to the beach. Advice- buy towels and an umbrella before you go. There are hustlers everywhere trying to get you to buy their crumby goods.

After staying in AirBnB’s for 7 nights prior to arriving in Barcelona, it was a great relief to arrive at Petit Palace Boqueria in the Gothic Quarter. It was a quick walk from the Aerobus stop at Placa Catalunya and when we arrived, we discovered that it is the most convenient location for seeing and doing everything you’d like in Barcelona. It is RIGHT across La Rambla to get to the famous Boqueria Sant Josef. A short walk to Placa Catalunya where you can catch the subway, the Aerobus, or the two Hop on Hop On busses. It is close to a whole host of excellent restaurants, wonderful sights, and convenient stores. But it is also a welcome relief from the bustle of the city- entering into the lobby is like retreating from the crowds and heat to your own haven of rest.

We especially appreciated our spacious room. With a bunk bed for the kids and a large king bed for us, the air conditioning functioned beautifully, the bathroom was expansive with good water pressure and the SOFTEST towels, and the internet was free and fast.

The staff were bilingual - helping us navigate the neighborhood with all of our dining, walking, and transportation questions. They were always available, always helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Pro tip, there is a wash/laundry service within walking distance (3 minutes walk, really) of the front door of the hotel called Lavenderia Roca. Google map it because they are GEMS! 4 days of laundry done, same day! (22 Euro!)

Cons: breakfast was stale and the fresh items like fruit were covered in flies. We ended up having to go to a restaurant to eat breakfast. The room seemed dirty and hastily put together. It reminded of what happens in when people cheaply flip a property. The airconditioner rattled nonstop. No sleep the first night. We discovered if we used it on the lowest setting we eliminated the rattle, but the room was warm. We had a quadruple room with bunk beds. All beds need better mattresses. For the price we paid, there are better options out there.

The property is centrally located to all the shopping, restaurants and other food options. The bathroom enclosure can be be improved as the bathroom floor and toilet are getting wet when showering. Bath towels can be changed to new ones as they were not fluffy and looking old already. All the staff were very helpful though
