There’s no hot water two days out of three @ 7.00am, 5.00pm and 11.00pm. This place has a hot water problem. Had to wait for hot water constantly to shower. Front desk staff nice.

The location was very good, within minutes of La Rambla. We were very disappointed there was no mini fridge in the room for water / drinks, and no coffee machine in the room to make early morning coffee which we have come to expect when staying in hotels. Our room was very small with no view. A small outdoor space with no view - likely fir guests who smoke. Otherwise service was good.

Nothing wrong with the hotel for what you pay. Right in the centre of the Ramblas. Half way down in one of the side streets. We just went for average price so didn’t expect anything more or less than what it was. We barely spent any time in the room apart from changing and sleeping, so was fine for our needs. Right within walking distance to so much food and drink places which is what we went for. Rooms are basic but clear and everything else was just normal. Again what you’d expect for the price. We had a few issues with our door locking (electronic locks) but the staff was quick enough to help and sort it. Would consider again if we ever went back for the location.

Dalia Ramblas was in a good, walkable location but that was the only positive. We felt like our room was in the attic. The floor was slanted, the floor felt soft as if there was a flood at some point, and the room was just downright dreary. We had trouble with the AC at first and the front desk did come and fix it for us. We appreciated that. We would not stay there again.

This hotel should NOT be rated anything else higher than a 1 and that is generous. The dirtier room I have ever experienced. Mind that my room was the “best”in the hotel as per the staff comments. Rotten subfloor, stained walls, bugs, flies in the room. The only good thing about this place was leaving.
The room was unsafe, the bathroom floor was rotting, soft, and for sure moldy. The staff that night was polite and understanding. Nevertheless, the manager/owner of the hotel should spend some time inspecting the property and making sure that the conditions of the property matches the prices they charge per night. After all it is not a motel. This hotel I on a well tourist trafficked area but it does not compete with the adjacent hotels that provide a much better service, lodging, and price than Dalia. I asked for an 80% refund but in all honesty I should have asked for a 100% refund. Mind, that I was not expecting a 5 star hotel but at the very least a clean and safe room at a midrange hotel. Disgust is not even an accurate word to describe the room. I was lucky to have found a new hotel for my 3 days stay.

Basic but excellent location

Very easy to find, close to metro station and a bus stop, in a small alley but well-lit & next the the theatre so quite a busy route. The glass doors were in a bad shape, they have been badly broken and no signs of them being repaired while we were there. The reception staff are LOVELY, so helpful and polite and speak excellent English. The room was quite spacious for a European city. The curtains were a bit tatty, had holes in and dirly marks, the lamp shades were badly stained and had a layer of dust on. The towels weren't changed for us on one of the days, we had to re-use the ones we'd left on the floor which wasn't great, we should have rung down to reception but we decided just to reuse. The bed was quite hard, very comfortable for me but not for my mum who I was sharing a room with. No USB ports in the room but plenty of plug sockets if you have an EU adapter. Nice big TV and if you have a Netflix account you can watch it there. No bath in our room but the shower is ok, shower gel nice enough but bring your own shampoo as the hotel shampoo isn't great quality. Very noisy door slamming from our room neighbours, but that's not the hotels fault. Excellent location for La Ramblas and the shops around Placa de Catalunya. Lots of places to eat nearby and I didn't find them that pricey despite what I'd read beforehand. I kept my valuables close by and never experienced any pickpockets which I was warned about before my trip.

We booked a double room but recieved 2 single beds. Our room had no locking mechanism on the door so all our belongings were insecure and left us feeling unsafe during the night. The hotel looks nothing like the images. The front of the hotel had a smashed glass front to start with which again made us feel unsafe.

Horrible Hotel Stay

The listing said there would be Air-Conditioning and there was not. They had a unit in the room that blew warm air out. Sleeping at night was miserable with no air. Bed is uncomfortable, I woke up with a neck and back ache. The kind that stays for days. The older gentleman that worked nights was rude. He said they turn the AC off if it isn’t summer but yet it’s 75 degrees out. Completely regretting staying there and I wish there was a review like mine to read so I never would have.

I was in Barcelona for business and looking for an affordable, comfortable and central hotel and Im pleased to say I found it in Dalia Ramblas! Ideally situated on Las Ramblas near all the entertainment. Very close to the Metro if you wanted to get around.

Carlos who greeted me throughout my stay was and excellent host. Really good guy, remembered me by name and provided some guidance on how to get to the places I needed to for the event I was in town for. The two ladies who were also there during my stay were excellent too.

The room had everything I needed for my stay and was set back from the noise of the main street.
As a frequent business traveller I highly recommend this hotel!

I loved my stay at Dalia Ramblas. I will definitely stay here again. The front desk was very helpful and provided guidance on what to do. The rooms are small. If you are looking for a hotel with big rooms, this is not the place. But the hotel is conveniently located in the gothic quarter. I doubt you will spend much time in your room. The beach is about 40 mins walk (worth walking to the beach lots to see on the way) or about 30 mins by bus. A lot of options for food, drinks, and sightseeing, The staff is friendly and willing to help you with any questions you might have. I highly recommend staying here.

There is a safe box in the room; no refrigerator but a big one in the lobby,;no laundry but there is one about 3 minutes away (12 Euros per small load).

Hotel is in the middle of the center area, which is close to many popular sites. Metra (L3 subway) is 2 minutes away.

Some ATMs are nearby, US debit cards work fine and is cheaper (5 euro fee) than currency exchange.

This place is the best location for sightseeing Barcelona. Walking distance to the center areas and catch city bus, metro easily. Front desk staff are very helpful and gave us very good suggestion and clear information.
But you should keep in mind that the stand room is small, but it function for visitors - just sleep in the night and out for the most of day.

Location excellent - can’t fault. Steps off Las Ramblas & the metro station 1 min walk away. Staff very welcoming & friendly. Rooms clean - although shower was broken so whole bathroom got wet when used. Walls very thin could hear doors & voices early morning when rooms being cleaned. Lady outside every morning screaming outside the Opera (opposite hotel). Overall very good & would recommend especially if your an early riser

Loved this Hotel.

I have stayed in 3 other hotels in Barcelona, and a couple of others in other parts of Spain - Dalia has been the best (not the most expensive). The location is great, the staff friendly - the room is ideal. I had room 404 which is a double room for single use - so it's small - but even so, big enough. Double bed which was the most comfortable of all in Spain - nice new bathroom, desk, hanging space. A chair may have been nice, it has the room, but even so, it was clean, comfortable and very quiet. I would definately stay here again.
