Wasn’t quite the quality we expected from the pictures. There were silver fish (small bugs!) in the bath and the bath looks like it was never cleaned.

I twisted my ankle and bruised both knees and my right shoulder.
I had a massive bump on the side of my head the size of an egg.
I never said anything to the hotel as I was very embarrassed.
On returning to the UK a few days later the pain in my head was getting worse so I went to the Hospital and after scans and x-rays it turns out I have 2 hairline fractures of my skull.
I have been home for 11 days now and still can not go back to my job driving vehicles due to the fracture.
Again this hotel is ok for very short cheap stays but if it's your main vacation please treat yourselves to something better than a small basic room with a shower over the bath.

The staff were professional and friendly however a lot of outside noise came into there room. There is a bar with live music on the first floor which I could hear in my room. It went until around 11pm most nights. But maybe it was just my room, I am not sure. Perhaps if the floors outside the room were carpet instead of tiles this would soak up the noise instead of amplify it?

We were not allowed to stay in dining room for minor computer work when no one was around 2-3:30pm, safe was not working batteries had to be replaced, safe hinge was loose. Random piece of loose carpet near dining room make it hard to roll luggage.. I see other guests with the same experience trying to roll over the carpet. Not worth the price paid for the room...

Las Rambla under major construction. The area is very noisy especially after dark and throughout the night. People in alley behind yelling either at someone or themselves. Was disappointed to be told we rented economy room. Would not recommend or stay there again.

This hotel itself is ok and a bit old, but it comes with great location! It is located in La Rambla street with everything close by, very convenient. Also it is about 10 minutes walking to Gothic area, fantastic.

There is a restaurant in the 1st floor, it does not belong to the hotel. They have music blasting until 1am, and the hotel cannot do anything about nor do they tell about this issue. If I have known about the music I would have never stay in this hotel. Stay away if you want a good night sleep. Good luck if you make the mistake on staying in this hotel

Homeless people were gathered outside our balcony every night doing drugs, getting into fights, being loud all night. During the day there was an ongoing construction in the area right in front and around the hotel making is very loud and noisy all day.The room smelled really bad and wasn’t clean enough.

Enjoyed the Wolf Cave and made a dinner reservation for the balcony overlooking La Ramblas. Dinner was excellent but did not like the fact that people were allowed to smoke on the balcony but it seems like common practice in Spain. Enjoyed the singers. Front desk was very helpful.

Juan at the desk was great. The room was ok. The beds were not comfortable. Every night, homeless people camped under our window and screamed so loud we could not sleep. As far as hotels go it was okay. The walls are paper thin.

It would start getting loud around 11:00 and go on until 4:00. The hotel is centrally located and the staff were wonderful. Just wish we could sleep.

Spotlessly clean very nice hotel in excellent position however would not stay here again. Mainly due to toilet and showe having translucent glass doors ' no privacy at all. No fridge or coffee machine. Vending machines poorly stocked and not always working. Air-conditioning did not function properly not cold but did not have controls in room so may have been set by hotel. Good soundproofing- works on Ramblas - power hammers from 8am but could hardly hear with Windows shut.

Location is fantastic if you want to stay right at the Ramblas. Rooms were modern and comfortable. My only issue was the smoky smell and the strong smell of the cleaning products to cover the smoky smell. If you can handle that, this is the place for you!

Good news: Barcelona’s busiest pedestrian street lies in front of your window. Bad news: Barlecelona’s busiest street is even louder at night. All night. From drunken carousing and singing and wall thumping music, again, all night, to the aroma of street people and weed wafting in along with blood curdling screaming and drunken argumentation between many people. Again, all night long. Until alas, sunrise, when the entire country’s garbage trucks and street sweeping crews noisily arrange their equipment along with much singing and loudness accompanied by shattering glass recyclable containers hitting the empty metal truck containers, which you would think is a one and done operation on your block, but somehow continues for close to 2 hours, there by making every hour of the day completely devoid of sleep - because the window must be open for a portion of the night to allow real air movement due to the complete inadequacy of the AC system to even move stale warm air around the room. No fans available. The water pressure and temperature were nice. The lady cleaned the floor every day too. Appreciated since you are walking in the stew of all manner of dog and human waste on the surrounding streets. Do not stay there if you need to sleep.

This hotel is very well located and staff is helpful. However, the room is sparely furnited. They do have refillable soap and shampoo but no other toiletries. It is very close to la Boqueria, the Gothic neighborhood, las Ramblas, the cathedral and the Picasso museum. The metro station is right in front. Be careful on eating in the establiahments on Las Ramblas because some charge an additional 10% fee and are not up front about this. Also the Raval neighborhood is right accross Las Ramblas and it is not safe. The beach boardwalk is also within walking distance. There is a restaurant at this hotel which is nightclub every night. Great music but do not expect this hotel to be peaceful.

Para el precio la habitacion esta muy limitada, no desayuno, no refrigerador, no secador de pelo, no plancha , el servicio muy limitado,,, la habitacion se ve remodelada recientemente pero ya esta con mucho maltrato en especial el baño ,, la ducha no tenia puerta, al parecer se rompio, se moja todo el piso, tapa WC en mal estado, almohadas muy viejas, el servicio del bar en el 1ro piso es fatal,. el lugar vacio y tardan mucho para atender.

The hotel is literally right in front of the Liceu metro station. You can get to and from the airport on the metro. Right on Las Ramblas and only a few blocks from many of the churches and only 1/2 a block from Mercado de la Boqueria. I had a queen room with Ramblas view, bathroom was large and everything was very clean.

This is a very aged hotel location was great however asked for phone to reduce going to check in desk if we needed anything response prior guests damaged it so it is going to be replaced.The room was very small it did not have closet only some space where the safe was we had to ask for something to put the luggage on finally housekeeping brought a bench.For the most part the staff was accommodating.I will end my comment with the location is great would I stay there again no.

The room had no external windows. The middle of the floor was so bouncy, that we suspected there is no subfloor underneath. The door knob was so loose that we were worried it would fall off. The tub had the type of shower curtains that blew inward and clung to your body when taking a shower. Great location. Staff is friendly. Super close to the train. However, not worth the price. Maybe, 1/2 step above a hostel.

Property is directly on the Main Street of La Rambla making it very convenient to access everything. There was always people out and about so at no time did we feel unsafe despite the hour. The room in hotel was very very small, but the beds were very comfortable. Night staff very unenthusiastic and gave absolute details other than this is your room number. Could hear the neighbouring room and their music. Would not stay again as much nicer options in side streets off La Rambla.

The air conditioning was not in service due to the time of the year, with the hotel on a main road it was too noisy to have the window open, but with it closed there is no ventilation.

The hotel rooms are cramped, no a/c is available, internal room assigned overlooking alley was noisy as garbage trucks made all kinds of noises at 2:30 am. Could not get any sleep. Also, hotel front desk does not enforce unruly and load guests whose partying and noise Carrie’s on until wee hours of the morning. When Ii complained, I was told that they cannot teach guests common decency and consideration. A very poor excuse and unprofessional response from hotel management who is ok if guests party all night and disturb others for getting a good night’s rest. Overall, a very underwhelming experience and I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property, unless you want to party uninhibited and don’t mind noisy drunks and municipal garbage trucks slamming garbage dumpsters all night long.

The hotel is perfectly located at the Rambla street. We have a big, nice room with the view to the street. The staff was polite and meet all our requirements. After check out they allowed us to leave our luggage until it was time to go to airport. The metro station is in front of the hotel.

Well located on Las Ramblas, across to Liceu metro station (L3). And walking distance to Plaza Cataluña, and to Passeig de Gracia and to Gothic Square. Breakfast served at the hotel is good among many others around worth exploring too. I will recommend the queen bed room over the 2 twin room and facing the Ramblas.
