This is a typical Tourism Boom hotel: they know they can leave their rooms unmaintained, neglect maintenance, and hire the cheapest staff with no training, because the Tourism Boom will mean their location earns them a fortune anyway. You can leave the rooms falling apart, hire untrained staff who can't answer any questions about the area or even help with basic guest needs. Doesn't matter. The money will flow.

But those times are coming to an end, and it will be my distinct pleasure to watch dumps like this place go bankrupt.

I have loved staying here. Stayed here over 5 times and will stay the staff is amazing and the location is perfect. The only issue I have with my latest stay is the property needs some renovations. The beds are still super comfy and they clean really well but the bathrooms are getting to where they can’t be cleaned. My shower had a lot of mildew and the carpets are very faded. Still a great price for service and location but won’t stay here again until they renovate.

The Good: The hotel was very cute, the staff very pleasant, the breakfast was wonderful with lots of healthy options. They also provided luggage storage for us. The less good: Why are the pillows so big? I use a big pillow at home but these were gigantic. Four pillows provided all of them gigantic. Although the place was clean there was some mold in the bathroom and shower.

The hotel was great except the WiFi. Everyone was super friendly, place is really clean, rooftop is adorable. Unfortunately I had work to do and the WiFi was terrible. So if this is a friend trip with no work, this hotel is perfect.

Great place to stay in otherwise hectic center of Barcelona. Terrace at top floor is easy to access and enjoy it’s pool. Generous opening hours in general so no stress. Breakfast was brilliant. Many times I use to enjoy it outside but this was worth it at the bottom floor well organised with tables not to be disturbed by others.
Bed is comfortable and rooms was silent enough with shutters for the windows for very good sleep.

The hotel was in a central location and walkable to popular areas. The train line was very close. Hotel was very clean and a comfortable bed. Check the size of the room you wish to be in as some are quiet small rooms. It has a lift so it was accessible. A very small step at the front when entering. Lots of breakfast options in close proximity.

I Like the atmosphere of the property, decor, the stainless steel small pool on the roof, the lounge chairs there. The Staff were all very nice.

I was dissapointed in the small refrigerator in the room which absolutely didn't cool AT ALL. They need to replace them. I stayed here last year and it was the same. This is not an expenisve fix and makes me perhaps reconsider staying there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Midmost. The room was beautifully decorated, with an incredible balcony looking out onto Barcelona. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, a big plus! The common spaces were simply WOW. The rooftop with its bar, sun loungers and pool is stunning; a great spot to unwind away from the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel, with a good, central, location. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing that could be improved on is the the hotel needed a bit of maintenance here and there, small things really - the shower riser adjuster was broken and in the second room we had booked the toilet seat was loose. Would still recommend overall.

A great choice for a Barcelona City break

A four night stay, room was a good size and comfortable. I personally found the bedding a bit hard, but I like a softer mattress. Breakfast was good and consistent allowing us to fill up for a day of sightseeing. Room was clean and tidied every day. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well.

The hotel itself is well positioned, being very close to las ramblas. Our room was on the first floor and we had no noise problems. It's close to the metro and the main tour bus stops at place de catalunya.it is also ideal if you are keen to walk with the gothic quarter very nearby. The Sagrada Familia is a 45 minute walk, but it's very flat and an enjoyable trek through friendly neighbourhoods.

The *pool\" is small, but we went to the terrace on the roof a couple of times and used the pool to cool down.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for couples.

A mirror was needed in the bedroom as all mirrors were in the bathroom.
No free coffee facility in the room or water you had to pay for these which was unexpected for a 4 star hotel.

This is my favorite hotel. It is clean and safe. It’s a happy place with a perfect staff. It’s right next to the gothic quarter and walkable to everything else. I feel it’s very high value for the price! I feel like maybe all the rooms have a balcony (we always seem to get a room with a balcony) Thank you for a 2nd perfect stay. We will be back!

Lovely hotel with great helpful staff, good position for access to everything, easy walk to Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla.
Mattress way too firm for us but would suit others, and important to request a walk in shower if you don't want one over the bath. Nice roof top bar but nowhere inside to enjoy a late drink in comfort.

A hotel with a modern design and a fair price in an amazing neighbourhood in Barcelona. I loved the small touches in the room, it felt like a true 4 star, which can be rare in Barcelona. The place looks just like the ohotos. I didn't get the name of the person who checked me in but she was kind, efficient, and gave me such great information. The bar tender on the rooftop was also great. I only have good things to say. Would definitely return. Transit is at your door step or a few steps away, including transport directly to the airport for 7€. Many great food options and shopping nearby. Can walk to many tourist attractions too.

I was solo travelling for 5 days. This property was walking distance to some major sites which was helpful. It is also located close to a metro. The property is clean.

I personally love swimming and found the pool too little and would have liked a bigger pool. The aircon was super cold too but you can make adjustments yourself. I would recommend the property. It is also in a safe area as that is one of the things I considered

The location of this hotel is excellent. Within a 20 min walk of many attractions, centrally located and 5 min walk from Las Ramblas and Plac de la Catalunya a major transport hub. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was secure and safe and had the added attraction of a small but much needed pool on the roof .

Just Perfect! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Midmost in July 2024 (2 Adults and a Child of 10). Everything was fantastic from the high standard and luxuriousness of our junior suite to the superb breakfast and the roof top bar and pool. We all enjoyed a nice cold drink and a dip in the pool after a busy day of sightseeing with great views whilst doing so too from the hotel rooftop terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is right in the centre of the city making top attractions and great restaurants all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and were sad to go home!

Disappointing to the point of not going again.

Unfortunately I can’t share a good review.
The most uncomfortable bed. Terrible cheap mattress to the point you could almost feel the springs and definitely hear them. Also very uncomfortable pillows. Sorry, for a $350 night I expected a decent bed. This was far below. Also the shower floor was “dirty” stained and bad looking. Invest a minimum and get it properly cleaned or replaced. And very thin walls. One could hear everything, room above when flushing the toilet or shower, when people would walk by the hallway or go up and down the stairs. Sorry but not good for this price at all. And on top the main elevator was out of order.
Not staying there again nor recommending it.

Amazing hotel. Central, quiet, clean, comfortable, and very professional and friendly staff. The pool is tiny- more like a sitting pool than a swimming pool but honestly that was a blessing for having my 2.5 year old with me! Breakfast was great. The main elevator broke but the staff let us use the staff elevator in the mean time.
So lovely and I would definitely stay again!

This hotel has a very convenient location, and we were also quite pleased at how quiet it was at night in our room.
We felt the staff was friendly enough, but from all the other reviews, we had expected a little more helpfulness, when we asked questions and needed assistance we were made to feel like we were being a bother, and never got direct answers.
The overall cleanliness could use some work, an issue we took up directly with the hotel.
The luggage storage was very convenient for us as we arrived at 9 AM and our room wasn’t ready Until 2 PM.
The highlight for us was the breakfast, great variety, everything tasted fresh!

The hotel is in a good area for walking around the Bari Gothic area of Barcelona, not a lot of restaurants around but close enough to walk to find one. The hotel has 24 hour door service and we felt very safe here. It is a good value to price for a 4 star hotel,not many frills but good clean bathrooms and nice towels. Beds were ok also.

Hotel MidMost exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful stay. The location is fantastic for exploring the city, the breakfast was varied and tasty. We were impressed with the blackout curtains in the rooms allowing lazy mornings and a very comfortable bed! You wouldn't know the hotel is next to the road as it is well soundproofed too. All in all a great stay we hope to return.

Great location for a hotel. Very small rooms. 1st hotel I have ever stayed at where they didn’t refill the drinking water bottles after the 1st day. Nor did they refill the tea & coffee tray.. and we were booked in 2 rooms for 5 nights each.. :( When we asked we were told sorry we give it only once …
Each time the room was cleaned the staff forgot something… toilet paper roll once, towels once, soap once … very bad service quality.

Breakfast staff were good - but exactly the same breakfast every single day.

For the quality of their service - will never stay here again - and if you are going take your own tea bags, coffee, sugar and water..
we had to buy ours everyday across the road. :((

Stayed here for 3 nights the room was very clean and had everything we needed . The room had all the toiletries we needed so we could travel with just had luggage.
