This is an excellent hotel. The welcome from Natalia and Lucas when we arrived was fantastic, and they were incredibly helpful.
We couldn't fault the room in any way and breakfast was delicious with a great selection.
The hotel is ideally placed in an area surrounded with places to eat and drink.
We can't recommend highly enough.

Guy at from desk kept us waiting for 20 min before he came out to help. Then when we asked if we can check in just 2 hours early, he did not even check the availability on the computer he just very risky said check in is at 3pm no exceptions.
Room had many issues: bathroom sink clogged, frig leaked water and the room floor was wet in the middle of the night, the balcony shutters were broken and missing pieces making light come in room. AC was not working and you had to leave balcony open to bring air but that made it so hard to sleep because of the noise coming from the street. Tiles through out the hotel were moving under your feet as you walk making it very trip hazard. Overall the worse experience. Never again

Very simple and clean. Location is excellent. Ricardo and Aleix were very friendly and helpful. Being a health-nut, I was disappointed that they had a plastic water boiler. If they’d replaced that with a glass or at least metal one, our stay would have been perfect. Overall, very pleasant. Would stay here again.

We had great staff service but lthe aircon didn't work for 2 nights 35+ we were shifted to a suite on the 4th floor and aircon still poor! Staff apologised as waiting for maintenance team to fix, they gave us a fan on the second night.

This little hotel is perfectly located a few short steps from La Rambla Street. Turn left and walk to high end shopping and turn right on rambla street to find bars and restaurants and fun things to see and do.

Staff was very helpful and kind. Especially Natalia and Angel at the front desk. They helped us navigate Barcelona. We did not add breckfast as there are tons of dining options along La Rambla street.

I will be back next time we travel to Barcelona

Honest review: very well located, cool lobby space, though no bar for drinks, just water and tea, there is plenty of food and drinking options around. As per the room, I got the basic Expedia price and they usually place you at the rooms in the back or 1st floors or in this case it was the 1st floor room facing the ventilation shaft :/ (trust me). The room looks cool but also outdated, and smelled like they were covering up a dirty room with a sort of nice smell but the room was not as well cleaned and the restroom as well, they need to do a better job cleaning the rooms and updating them they are kinda old by today’s standards . Overall they need to work on cleanliness, updating, a clean space is not about the smell but about all that is around and you can smell it.

This property is close to 2 Metro lines and relatively close to everything you would want to see and do when in BCN. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I opted to purchase breakfast each morning which had plenty hot and cold open room as well as several drink choices. The only downside is that I needed to request a room change due to a faulty Air Conditioning in my original room. Come to find out they will be upgrading during the off season prior to next summer allegedly. Would definitely recommend.

Block and a half from subway with both metro and R Trains. R Train took us to airport with no transfer. Close to lots of sights. Nice room and great breakfast. Only drawback was when we were there AC went out for our room during hot weather.

This is an excellent hotel in a pooular area. Surrounded by much more expensive hotels. Efficient, friendly staff. Very clean and well laid out. Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Very good breakfast buffet (extra cost), and staff wll make special requests, such as omelets. I'll stay here again.

I am requesting a refund for my stay. Due to persistent issues, I had to change rooms three times.
On the first day, I changed my room because the one assigned to me had windows that could not be opened. Additionally, the hotel used a strong air freshener, likely to mask odors. When I switched rooms, I encountered the same issue—the window could be opened, but it was cold, so I left the window open for ventilation.
The next day, after the air freshener's effect faded, I noticed a strong sewer smell from the bathroom. I wasn’t sure if it was from the room or outside, as I had opened the window. However, last night, the smell became so unbearable that I couldn’t stay in the room. I informed reception, and after inspecting the room, they confirmed the odor and moved me to a third room.

Unfortunately, the new room had the same issue—strong air fresheners masking the sewer smell. This is unacceptable, as such issues pose serious health risks. I paid significantly for this stay and feel misled about the hotel's conditions. Hotels.com should remove this hotel, as it fails to meet basic hospitality standards. They also have a responsibility to verify hotels before listing them.

Given these circumstances, I request a full refund for my stay. Please let me know how to proceed.

We had a wonderful stay! It was our first time in Barcelona, and this hotel was a great choice. It’s centrally located, with easy access to shops and bars. Most places are within walking distance, but the hotel is also well-connected by public transport.

The staff couldn’t have been kinder. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with champagne and a thoughtful note, making our stay even more special. If we return to Barcelona, we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was very cool and close to the main part of town. Many shops and restaurants are walkable. The rooms and property were clean and the breakfast was excellent. My only warning is that our room had a balcony which included two steps down in the middle of the room. If you sleep on that side of the room, be careful because you might fall!! (I did). Regardless, I would stay here again.

We locked into having this place for two nights in a row at the last minute. It was a stylish Boutique type hotel with plenty of space for four people. We got the room that had twin bunk beds, a separate twin bed, and what was listed as a double bed in the other room but was actually a king size bed. The room stayed dark so we were able to sleep late after coming in quite late at night on our first night. This was a family trip, with four people total. Two teens and two adults.
There was always fresh water and available in the lobby as well as tea and coffee upon request. The location was extremely walkable to all of the local sites and food areas. This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our 8 day visit to Spain.

The staff is extremely friendly. But they have to fix some issues:
- some rooms have old furniture that needs extremely urgent replacement.
- the light in the bathroom makes impossible to shave
- the bycicles that are for free are in a very bad technical condition (very hard to use them)
- the duvet on the bed is covered only in 2 sheets (like a sandqich) and it is almost impossible not to touch directly the duvet (which for sure was touched by other guests). They should use a sheet like and envelope to complete \"close\" the duvet
- in room 107 it was a very bad smell

Concern with Bunk bed- seemed unsteady every time my 13 year old son got on top bunk but I trust beds are tested for safety.

The property is at a great location (walking distance to La Rambla) with ton on restaurants, shopping and dining options nearby. The staff is very friendly and responsive. Unfortunately, the room which looked great when we entered fell short in basic capabilities such as HVAC, Electrical system, room screens etc. Our room for 5 people was super hot and there was no way to cool it down other than leaving the window open through the nut which was noisy and uncomfortable. The staff member on duty did try to locate a fan, but was unsuccessful. The electrical outlet tripped and we couldn't charge our phones through the night before our big trip next day. The bathroom door is also transparent which doesn't work well if you are traveling with friends in a group of 5. I recommend that you focus on the essentials (HVAC, electric outlets, door screens etc). Without that your wonderful room with hot tub, beautiful wall decors, bunk beds for kids and bath accessories will be a let down.

Not what I expected. Urban, modern style and did give off a ‘welcome in’ vibe on arrival. All very dark with dim lighting and same in room. Comfortable bed. Decent bathroom with ceiling shower - No shower cap provided. Although we had issues with the cleanliness of our room following a recent renovation, the front desk staff dealt with this in a very professional and accommodating way

The property is very modern and updated. They offer a nice continental breakfast in the mornings. We were a bit disappointed that we could not check in early. We got there at 9 and waited until 3 o’clock. Also please be aware that if you need a taxi just step outside and flag one down as it is going by. This is quicker than asking the front desk to call one for you.

Location wise- perfect, close to a lot of touristy spots and tapas bar.
Our room was ok, modern bathroom but shower was too hot and was unable to change setting but they fixed it and was working fine after.
I booked another room for my 5 friends who traveled with us but air conditioner wasn’t working the way we wanted and it was super hot. All in all, it was still a beautiful stay. They have luggage storage and that’s a plus since our flight wasn’t till evening. I would give it a go because of the location but they do need to renovate rooms and possibly do better cleaning

We had a really great time here, good location for exploring Gracia and Eixample. Hotel is dog friendly, you just can't take them down to breakfast. Staff very friendly and clearly enjoy having dogs to stay. The bar is currently not open which is a shame, hopefully will re-open soon as I love a hotel bar. Everywhere was very clean and the rooms were generally quiet, just a bit of noise in the mornings when other people get up but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel stay, at night the room was super quiet and bed very comfy

The hotel is in great location, very easy to get in from the airport by aerobus. Also walking distance to the main city gems. Service is great, friendly staff, breakfast buffet has great selection of things, although same every morning.
We had a big room for 5 people which was great space wise. Downpoints are there is no lock in the toilet, meaning that it can be entered (not great with mums trying to hide from toddlers), also toilet door is party covered, so not completely discreet, no heaters in the room, room temperature set is working by conditioning system which makes air in the room very dry, our exema increased a lot within 3 nights, no windows can be opened in the room. Also there is jacuzzi in the room which wasn’t actually working, we asked to fix it and they fixed the monitor but it wasn’t atill working, however kids had fun as in the swimming pool. Overall good experience!

I am writing this review to help others considering a stay at this hotel to be as helpful as possible. This was our first time in Barcelona. We went on a family trip during Christmas break and booked 2 rooms at this hotel. We were 6 people, all adults. The Family Suite had a king size bed and a bunk bed. Our adult children slept in the bunk bed. The room was spacious and comfortably fit 4 adults. The room was Very clean and had a second room off of the bedroom with a view of the patio/backyard, large windows, a couch and a large table.The bathroom had a large shower. There was good wi-fi, nice toiletries, great choice at breakfast. If we only had the Family Suite I would give this hotel top reviews but unfortunately our second room was very disappointing. It accomodated two people with one double sized bed. The room was extremely small and you could not move around the room at all. The view outside was of a brick wall. The shower pressure did not work and when we complained we were told that it was normal pressure. The staff was not helpful with this. The first night of the stay we were awoken by the front desk in the middle of the night, they dialed our room number by mistake.
This hotel is centrally located in an area near some restaurants. It was walking distance to everything, really excellent location. If you are considering this hotel, book the Family suite with the breakfast and make sure you are not facing the brick wall.

Perfect little gem in Barcelona

What a beautiful little gem in the heart of Barcelona! Checkin is a tad late at 3 pm but that truly is the only thing that was not stellar about the property. We had a room that was multi levels with a small sitting area a couple steps down. Fun colors and the staff was great! Located just steps off La Rambla and in Exemple area! Best of all worlds!
