Bathroom shower leaked all over the room. I called as soon as I arrived to tell them about the issue. Their solution was to clean it up or more towels. For real? Glad it was only one night, otherwise we would’ve taken all the towels to keep the bedroom dry.

Hotel lobby is attractive and clean. The reception staff are ver helpful, especially Rachelle. She recommended a nearby tapas restaurant. It was excellent. She also helped us recover our delayed luggage. The room is very nice. The bed is comfortable.

The room was clean but the bathroom showed some age. The toilet's flushing system didn't work properly. Breakfast buffet was just ok and not at par with other breakfast buffets we had with other establishments. I didn't realize I had to haul my heavy suitcase through stairs to access the lobby, it would be nice to have a ramp to help with that. The staff was nice, polite and helpful. The lobby, salons and terrace also looked great and were clean.

Location is excellent. Most staff friendly. It was 70F and they still had the heat on. Had to request a fan and even so, it was unbearably hot. Windows opened but to a covered patio with no ventilation. Said that it has a roof top but it does not.

This is a wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. All the people we encountered spoke good English and they recommended restaurants and cafes that turned out to be great (the best was Musiu, an Italian restaurant at the end. of the block). It's near the Casa Battlo and other attractions, and it was quiet enough to leave the window open at night. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was good.

It is a wonderful location. It has fabulous staff. Would recommend anyone coming to Barcelona to stay there near everything, but on a quite safe side street.

Great Hotel!

We stayed here 9 years ago & returned happily forgetting about the steps you have to go up dragging suitcases, in 9 years we aged!! Everything else was great including location being able to walk to many attractions like Old Town & Segrada Familial.

This place was a diamond in the middle of everything! A block from Passeig de Gràcia, few blocks from Casa Batllo, and about 10 mins walk to Plaça de Catalunya. We did it need a car as everything is walking distance! If you must need to take the public transportation, it is also a block away and plenty of taxis around. The hotel was so clean, room was very spacious and the staff was suffer friendly and accommodating. And don’t get me started with their super amazing breakfast spread!!! We have been traveling to different countries and have had stayed on different hotels and our expectations were low considering of our previous experiences. But HCC St. Moritz was top notch! We are a group of 3 couples and we could never agree more of the perfect stay we had at this place. Thank you!

1st time in Barcelona...HCC St Mortiz is well located ..pkenty of eating options nearby...room was spacious clean snd tidy...bathroom was ok..shower screen not quite fitting which mesns minor flooding on the floor went using shower..staff were friendly and helpful...had breskfast buffet which was a bit hit and miss with food choices...overall a pleasant stay.

In regards to the review of this hotel, I believe I was misled as when I booked it in early May they mentioned there was a pool. I might be wrong. Another thing is the walls resonate sound so easily, I had a hard time sleeping. Overall the area was great and staff was nice.

This hotel was beautiful! We had a very modern room on the top floor so it was quieter since it is on a fairly busy street. It is easy to get to the Metro and access everything. there are shops and restaurants nearby. Some of the streets are pedestrianized and so provide lovely places to eat outside. We got to the hotel having left our cruise ship and arrived at about 8:30am. We expected that we would have to wait for our room but could leave our luggage with them. While we were taking a minute to plan our day, they said they had located a room that was unoccupied and that we could have it then. It was so nice to be able to relax for a bit before we set out for the day. Lovely hotel, very reasonable too.

Overall, everything was really good. Very nice hotel, with spacious rooms that are cleaned every day. The only thing is that laundry is more expensive than you expect. But, the hotel itself is safe and quiet, and close to the metro/bus stations plus major attractions.

Nice Hotel but Ignored Leaking Shower

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. However, there was one thing that i feel must be mentioned so it is addressed by the hotel:

The shower above us leaked into ours through the ceiling whenever the upstairs shower was in use. There were cracks and dripping water. We told the staff the first day and it seemed like it would be addressed. However, the shower above us continued to be used and the issue remained.

This was quite frustrating. I would expect either the above room to be left vacant or use to be moved to a new room until this was fixed.

Otherwise, a nice to place to stay.

Good overall but little details missed

Stay was pleasant overall and the hotel and room was clean, comfortable, and in a great location.

Only 2 points to raise -
Intermittent flickering lightbulb in the room which I asked reception if they could send maintenance up to fix - I guess they changed 2 bulbs around as another light flickered instead afterwards. Also asked the housekeeper to join my 2 single beds into one double, she sad OK but this was never done.

What a ridiculous hotel!

I arrived two hours earlier and asked if they could provide early check in.
They said it was impossible to provide.

After two hours, they arranged a room with a door next to the bed, with a window facing other room window.
They didn't notice at check in. They said they arranged the room because of my early chech in request they didn't provide.

Vibrations of the drilling machine right. They didn't notice at check in.

What a ridiculus sitiation.

The room is smaller than the picture shows.

I can't say enough good things about our stay with the St. Moritz! They far exceeded out expectations from check in to check out! The staff were wonderful and very caring. Excellent price for a very updated and clean hotel in a centrally located downtown area. You can walk to everything! The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced in hotel stays and no cost! If you really want a great place to stay in Barcelona, I would strongly recommend the St. Moritz!
