The room and hotel was beautiful, the female manager who greeted us was extremely polite and very lovely!

Unfortunately the walls are quite thin so we were woken up alot by other guests who stayed out quite late. We also thought there was a courtyard to sit in but there isn’t this is attached to another room and you have to book that room. The leaflet inside the room said there was light breakfast snacks in the kitchen but there wasn’t so I think the translation was incorrect there, it also said late checkout may be possible for a charge but this wasn’t possible either.

But overall a lovely stay, thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous property. Perfect for us with our 4 year old son. Perfect location, within walking distance to so much. Great little 24hr shop with everything you need right by the front door. Would highly recommend to anyone. Staff were really wonderful and made time to have a chat and made us feel so welcome. Our room was delightful, our son loved the deep soaking bath tub.

The family room we had was ideal, two connected rooms that could be divided with a door as needed. Beautiful terrace outside and very comfy beds. The staff were incredible helpful when needed and great with the children.

The room is located in a very charming historic building. The place is in general clean. Has its private back patio for some rooms. However, the insulation of the rooms are not very good, and you can hear the noise such as people talking next door, taking shows, scrolling the luggages. If you are sensitive to noise during sleep, it might be a bad choice for you to stay here.

The room sets up in a modern way but there is a lot of noise through out the night and keep you awake. You will hear the tv sounds and their talks from your neighbours. You will hear furniture moving around from the upstairs. You will hear the sounds of the air conditioner and ventilation the whole night.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and kind and the location is great. We didn't need to take transit for our entire week here. I loved the bathtub and the balcony. One thing I would note is that the hotel is above a bar and I did have trouble sleeping on Friday night due to noise, but it didn't change my overall view of the stay, which was great!

We loved the location from where we could walk to Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum, Joan Miro Centre and Montjuic. We also walked to the seafront where we had delicious tapas. This was a lot of walking , some might prefer to use the public transport. The staff at the hotel were so helpful. Room was cleaned every day and was very comfortable. It was very easy to find tapas , bars , coffee , restaurants near by.

This hotel is one floor of hotel and the rest are apartments. If you're looking for a quiet stay, this is it. Very central to everything Barcelona has to offer. Great neighborhood. Only downside is that its a 2 star hotel so they do not change sheets or "clean" the rooms. Only change towels daily.

We had a beautiful room that was clean and comfy! The beds were so soft and comfortable and we had lots of towels and snacks. They had round the clock coffee, tea and biscuits and in the morning we made delicious toast. They also had cereal. Love love love this place. Thanks Angela and Guido🎉🎉🎉

I loved how close it was to the street, there are a lot of steps but they do have a lift. Staff is very helpful and friendly. It gets loud at night but if you close your terrace doors and curtains it blocks the sound very well. I would stay here again

This hotel was so cute. I only have three cons. I stayed the room near the breakfast area and I could hear everything each morning, even the crying little girl who wanted fresh fruit. This room also had ants, I didn’t say anything I just dealt with it the best I could but they kept reappearing and got into my bags, my belongings, and even the bed. Lastly, the bed was HARD, they need some softer mattresses. Other than that, my stay was okay. The staff was nice and the location was perfect.

We had a great stay at Casa Llimona. The room was beautiful, location was great, quiet but close to everything central. It felt like we were the only once in the hotel in the best way, you had free like snacks, and coffee throughout the day. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Loved everything about staying there and would definitely come back.

Dark and smelly hotel with shady staff.
We booked this hotel for three nights but checked out the next day due to the awful smell in the room and the thin walls—you could hear everything happening in the lobby. Unfortunately, we forgot our laptop in the room when we checked out. On the last day, we realized it was left behind and went back to the hotel, but the staff member refused to return it. Only after calling the police did we finally get it back. Avoid this place at all costs!

My family and I stayed in this hotel for a 10-day Barcelona trip. We absolutely loved this hotel! We were blown away with how beautiful the hotel is. We booked the Sagnier Suite and loved our stay. The rooms were spacious and we had our own private terrace where we had ate our breakfast most mornings.
The hotel is conveniently located in the center of most major attractions. We were about 3 blocks away from Casa Batlló, and you can arrive to most places walking 20 minutes in any direction.
Not only did the hotel exceed our expectations, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Upon arriving Guido was there to check us in and personally showed us around. Everyone was helpful and made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here.

Casa Llimona is charming, spotless, and perfectly located. However, I’m giving it 3 stars because the hotel is tiny, and the walls are very thin you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, including conversations and even sneezes, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

I stayed here with my parents for a short holiday in Barcelona. Booking our accommodation with Casa Llimona was a great decision! This cute boutique hotel is centrally located, very clean, and beautiful aesthetic. We stayed at the Llimona room and it was quite a treat! The staff is very friendly and accommodating- they are the best! I’d recommend staying here if you’re in Barcelona and would like to be close to shopping, restaurants, and must-do locations.

I would come back to Barcelona just to stay at this boutique hotel. It was clean and simple. The staff was very friendly. The decor made it feel like you were in someone’s home. Our room had a beautiful private terrace.We traveled with two small children and I loved that we had separate rooms. Their light breakfast in the morning was great overall 10 out of 10.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in the elegant Casa Llimona. We stayed in Guell, superior room. We had a quadruple for the 4 of us, a King and queen sofa. I liked the design of room with tall ceilings and a balcony. A nice bonus was they offered coffee in the lobby all the time. One morning we had the juice and rolls provided for a light breakfast. Angela and Alexander assisted us with bag storage before and after check-out. The location is perfectly situated around a walkable neighborhood. So glad I did not opt to stay on or near Las Ramblas or Balonceta Beach. Now that I have been there, those were not great places to spend time. This hotel is charming and smaller. Wish I had one more day! We found La Patisseria for the nost delicious rolls and cakes, not far from hotel. Barcelona was elegant and I so loved getting to know it!

The property is right in city center. Many stores, restaurants all within walking distance. The airport is 20 minutes away. El hotel muy bonito , moderno , excelente ubicación.
Lo único que no fue de tanto agrado fueron las camas muy pequeñas y los colchones muy firmes por lo que el descanso no fue tan confortable.
Uno de los cuartos no tenía nada de acceso a luz natural por lo que siempre estaba a oscuras.
De ahí en fuera todo resultó agradable ya que es un hotel muy bonito y acogedor.

Hotel is in a decent location. Lack of real reception, but only someone to greet you.
Door to the room was straight into a common area and the breakfast area meaning you had noise in the room waking you up early in the morning.
Not very nice.

Breakfast is simple. Nothing is being cooked. E.g. no eggs, yoghurts, or other things.

Casa Llimona is in an architecturally beautiful building. Its lobby is quietly spacious and ornate, a perfect place to have a morning coffee. Our room was large, attractive, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from several Gaudi sites, close to the charming hillside Gracia neighborhood, and to the Barrio Gotico.

I like the fact that I did a lot of walking found the Venues to be close by: Some several miles; I don’t mind walking. The lack of staff present is concerning, my room was facing the street and seemed like every night there was some kind of party going on I think there is a bar on the street adjacent to the hotel; anyways I could hear people talking and laughing well until 2:30 am. Not relaxing. The room was nice but also had almost no shampoo and soap had to ask for it. It is remodeled hotel so it is clean; had continental breakfast I don’t have any not appealing.

Absolutely loved our stay at Casa Llimona. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a long size bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. Most hotel rooms we’ve stayed at in Europe are quite small, not the case here. The continental breakfast was delicious, but I do recommend you go early to ensure you get a good selection. The area is beautiful, and very walkable with many cafes and restaurants in the area. And as far as value, this was the nicest, and least expensive hotel we stayed at while in Barcelona. We will definitely be back.

Casa Llimona was the best hotel I've been to in Europe. I loved it so much that I'm afraid it might get too popular and become hard to book in the near future. All the staffs were very nice and fluent in English. One of the staffs told me that the hotel building was originally a palace, so most of the rooms had huge terraces. Having a terrace is such a game changer especially when you stay at a hotel - IYKYK. Barcelona was an absolutely beautiful city, but for me Casa Llimona was the most gorgeous part of the entire trip. I would definitely stay here again if I revisit Barcelona. Thank you again for making my trip more pleasant and memorable!

Perfect stay for our trip to Barcelona. This hotel was absolutely stunning & really set the tone for our trip to Spain. The workers are incredibly kind and made sure we knew where everything was and had everything we needed. The rooms were super clean, we honestly felt right at home. The space was gorgeous and gave us plenty of room for 2 people staying in a room together. Bathroom was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The place offers complimentary breakfast/coffee between 8-10 am which we loved. We noticed on weekend nights the street outside brought people into the streets up until 3AM so it was a bit noisy but wasnt unbearable to sleep with, but just keep that in mind. Weeknights the street was super quiet. If we were to come back to Barcelona we would forsure return, we loved this hotel so much and it really immerses you in the Spanish culture here. Thanks for having us!

The accommodation looks beautiful online and when we arrived we had an easy self check-in. The first impression of the common spaces and our room were lovely but upon closer inspection, realised that the floors weren’t vacuumed or mopped clean, they felt dirty when walking around the room barefoot. The bathroom drain also needed cleaning. We requested a room clean part way though our stay and we came back to a bed made and fresh towels but they left our old towels in the room. The bed and pillows were fine. Wifi was amazing. Complimentary continental breakfast was nice enough and 24 hour coffee machine access would have been nice if the coffee was good and milk was also available. These things sound petty but for the price of the room per night, our expectations were higher than usual. The staff were pleasant enough but not super friendly. Overall an average stay. The best part being the wifi and a very convenient location to walk and catch public transport for ease of getting around Barcelona.

Great location, walkable to shopping, restaurants and markets.

Cons:
Very noisy, can hear all guests in nearby rooms, water running in pipes, people on the street

Breakfast is really just cereal, coffee & toast with spreads; you'll need to go out for breakfast

Beautiful facilities!! Apparently this hotel has been restored keeping the original tile and woodwork yet incorporating modern furniture and fixtures. We had a jr. suite which we absolutely loved!! Wooden doors opened up to a private enclosed balcony. It was facing a busy business hours street but with the tall wooden doors closed it shut out all the noise. The king size bed was divine. Excellent tapas place on the corner. Would definitely stay here again!!! Book it you won’t be sorry!!
