Todo muy bien! Muy amables , el edificio es antiguo pero los cuartos están modernos y limpios! Muchas gracias , además tiene ascensor , me permitieron dejar maletas al llegar y al salir para poder conocer un poco más! Lo único que podría recomendar es que el aviso del hostal no está visible y es un poco difícil de encontrar por eso!

The building is older but the rooms and hallways were new. Very clean room which was cleaned every day.. The staff were friendly and were ready to help when asked. I had problem with the TV and the staff were quick to fix it. Some rooms share a bathroom but I chose one that included my own one. I also had an outside patio which opened to the sky.

A diamond in the rough!

Id never stayed at a hostel before so there were reservations. But i can say this was a nice experience. Was the place dated? Yes. Was it no frills? Absolutely. But it was clean, check in was easy, the location was cool, and it completely served the purpose.

If you plan on soend a lot of time in the room, this may not be the place for you. But if you want a place to be at while you explore the city, its a great choice.

In an age where most places of this size have no human element to them (This was the 8th room of this trip to Spain. At three of them, there was no one there when I checked in in the late afternoon...they would only be there in the morning. At two places there was never any contact at all except with the maids. And then there were two big hotels) it was astonishing to not just have a 24 hour front desk person, but the gentleman who I had the majority of my interaction with was the best hotelier I have ever met. Everyone one else was great, as well. Great location. Great shower. Killer AC. Super comfortable bed. Very roomy. But the world's worst toilet. They shoehorned it in to the tighest space imaginable and then put the toilet roll holder in the most illogical place possible. Whoever designed that should be beaten. If you are an average sized sized adult human, you will have to remove your pants and underwear in the bedroom and then attempt to sit down and will probably end up sitting side-saddle.

Honestly really good, especially for the price. Beds were comfortable, AC was very strong, bathrooms were nice (large shower), and location overall was very good for being able to walk to everything in the city. Would definitely stay again.

This hostel was quiet, clean and well located. The room was private with a private bathroom as well. It was quite small and I got fresh towels daily. I had to ask for soap twice. Front desk staff was responsive but not especially friendly.
The biggest drawback for me was the bed, which was very uncomfortable. I was there for several nights and by the end of my stay, my back was sore.
I understand the whole \"you get what you pay for\" philosophy so I wasn't expecting a ton of creature comforts. This place was pretty bare bones but that's what I paid for. In the end, it was fine.

History everywhere!! Even the hotel itself. Great location, I walked to most he sites. Restaurants, bars and grocery stores everywhere. Can’t beat this place for the price. Gothic quarter is a 10 minute walk.

I really wanted to give this place a 5 because the mixed reviews/inconsistent photos made me a but nervous to book but I have never been more pleasantly surprised. The only reason I knocked a star off is for a bad customer service experience at the end of our stay.
There appear to be 2 different kinds of rooms in the photos, one super nice & one not so nice. Our room was INCREDIBLY nice for this level of hotel/hostel. I think they are renovating or something so there is a chance you could book & get an older room, I assume some of the poorer reviews might be about these? This review is for the “nicer” rooms shown.
Nice staff at check-in & they let us in early which was kind, however Expedia stated 1pm for check-in & when we arrived the posted signs said 2pm.
Room was large, lovely & clean with a big bed, 2 huge windows, desk, wardrobe & good size bathroom w/ tub. Daily cleaning & plenty of hot water. 24hr staff to let you in the front door. Wifi was great.
Our only bad experience: the night before checkout, we asked if we could extend our stay by 1 night. The employee said no problem, just ask him 30min before checkout to confirm if he’d need us to move rooms. The next morning, he said the cost for the night would be FOUR TIMES MORE than we’d been paying (over €600 instead of €180). For a budget room. I realize we should have asked the price but have never had a price more triple & were left scrambling to find a place to stay. Not sure why he thought we’d be cool with that

Nothing like the reviews, the double room was clean, newly renovated, the private bathroom was impeccable, no mould. Decent sized room with AC working perfectly.
It was quiet, the bar underneath was permanently closed.
Staff were nice, we didn’t have much contact with them but the times we did chat to them they were polite and helpful.

Stayed in double room with private bathroom, it was very very spacious and clean, quiet and in the perfect place just a short walk away from Plaça De Catalunya. I would love to come back and stay there! Reception was so sweet and helpful, they let us keep our bags there until check-in, and the wifi was faaabulous in the room. There is a bit of noise but I cannot sleep without a white noise machine, so it worked out perfectly!

The property is in a convenient location to access metro and tourist attractions. Bedding was clean. Ray at the front desk was nice.

Rooms are not soundproof at all. Our room was close to the front door and we could hear the door slam every time someone left the building. Could hear other guests showering and in one instance throwing up in the bathroom across the hall. A/c worked but sounded like a door buzzer every time it started. Wiring in the hostel is iffy. The over the bed lights flickered constantly if we had both on at the same time. Black mold in the bathroom.
At one point another guest peed all over the toilet seat. I told front desk and he just told me to go use the other bathroom. I went back to check if the toilet had been cleaned. It had but the floor had not and there were dirty towels on the floor.
This was my girlfriends first time in a hostel and because of this experience she will not stay in one again. I have stayed in numerous hostels, BCN 46 is old and gross. Would not stay here again and would not recommend to other people.

For £100 a night I did expect a little more at least a private bathroom. Room is very tiny no space to put your things. only reason I booked as it was in the city centre. The location is honestly great. Right next to Sagrada Família and many more attractions. But the hotel it self wasn’t good at all .

There was construction issues with hotel and pipping noises continuously coming from the walls. The Hotel staff said there was nothing they could do. Sleeping was non existent, making my stay horrible.

At one point, even a construction worker came inside the room to view something from the work sight.

The patio was in horrible conditions, a disgrace. I will never stay in that hotel never again. See attached pictures.

I am looking for a full refund. Thank you.

It was much better then expected with a few things different from the normal hospitality you'd receive from a hotel. Things like insisting on waking me up every morning for cleaning or complaining about a lil makeup on a towel from my spouse, are definatly not what I'm use to. But the staff was helpful and for the price itvwas ok....

The room they offer on arrival had 3 beds cramme in to a tiny room, a very small window and small bathroom. Before I even entered the room the ported offered me an upgrade at a further cost of 25€ per night for a slightly better family room - which I took.

Overpriced hostal in the center of Barcelona

The hostal is located in 10 min walk from plaza Catalunia, which is the only good thing about this place. Other than that, there is nothing good about this place. The rooms are so packed that you can barely squeeze between bed and a wall. The ceilings are very high though. The AC is nominal and don't really control the temperature. There is no furniture in the room and the only place you can sit is the bed itself. Overpriced and very uncomfortable.

Friendly staff. AC did not work despite repair attempts by staff. A simple crash pad in the city, close to metro. Parking hopeless on the streets, as was the zoning system and how to decipher it. Toll fees to enter Barcelona are horrendous, we will never return after being ripped off. Go to other cities, plenty good ones.

Stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great, just 10 minutes from La Rambla and the center of Cataluyna square. The staff was nice and welcoming and was able to answer the many questions that I had. Shared bathroom but the price was good.

Good place to stay. Right in the middle of points of interests...especially if you like walking around. New phase of the hotel is clean and peaceful. Staff very accomodating and helpful. Room is small but if just for sleeping, not bad. Bathroom is kind of tight but worked fine. Room was not done at check in time of 1pm. Hotel should change check in time to 2pm or 3pm so guests don't wait. Otherwise, it was a fine place for short trip to Barcelona.

The staff in the hostel speaks fluent English and they are friendly and helpful with directions to most places. We stayed the first night in the main hostel and the rest of the trip, we stayed in the newly renovated part of the hostel. The decor in the main hostel are quite dated but the newer part of the hostel are quite nice and comfortable. The towels are changed daily and they provided the basic amenities like toiletries. We also had access to the microwave and kettle.
There are many places to eat around the hostel and it is near to some of the tourist attractions and shopping. The hostel is fairly central and easily accessible. It is within walking distance to Placa De Catalunya, Gothic Quarters and Las Rambas. The airport bus stops at Placa De Catalunya.

Very clean and well maintained. Rooms close to reception were very noisy (bring ear plugs). The safe in our room was broken as well as the AC. Comfortable beds with linen and towels provided.

This hostal is in the final stages of being renovated. It is clean and beautiful. We were greeted by Merlene who was funny, kind and helpful with any questions we had. She made us feel comfortable and took great care of us. It was a pleasure to meet her during our trip.

The hotel was in a nice area and had really nice staff members! The rooms were clean and spacious. There was an extra bathroom in the lobby which we were allowed to use. The vending machine in the lobby was a nice surprise especially as the supermarkets in the area closed early.
Overall, I would recommend the hotel and definitely stay there again myself!

Nice and clean, comfortable room that was well air conditioned (necessary in the boiling summer temperatures Barcelona reaches.) Very well located - a 7-10 minute walk to Placa Catalunya and La Rambla. Easy to get to from the airport. Can get the Airport buses to Placa Catalunya and walk. Nice staff. Clean room. Comfortable stay.

I had a 5 day break here with my Wife in this lovely little hotel. Location was perfect and only a 10 minute walk to Catalunya Square. There are nice bars and cafes in the neighborhood.The staff are very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. We very much recommended this hotel as it is in a brilliant central location.

A good place to stay in a beautiful city. Quite difficult to find but Its In the centre and is easy to get to placa de catalunya (5 mins walk). Good, helpful service and kind! Really enjoyed our weekend away in Barcelona and would stay here again.

I had a nice time in Barcelona as the hostel is very close to all of the places I wanted to see. There are several metro stops within two or three blocks and the hostel is open 24 hours a day. It had good wifi and clean bathrooms.

It is a very central located hostel and close to shopping and has many metro stops near by so it is easy to get around Barcelona. Not a lot of good restaurants but some nice priced bars close by. Also has 24 hour desk so it is safe and secure.
