When we were checking in, staff was outside smoking with some of the residents. Understandable, since you can't smoke inside.The staff don't wear uniforms, but was nice. A cute cat was in the lobby. The breakfast is just eggs and hashbrowns. Went to a function to get back and find out the elevator was down and we were on the 3rd floor. The staff was helpful with making the transition to the 1st floor. The room was clean. Seen a dead roach, better than alive I guess...seems room may have been exterminated. Overall, a good stay...somewhere to lay our heads.

other than that it isnt a good location. A lot of crack and homeless people and bad area in general.....NOT KID OR FAMILY FRIENDLY
Beds are hard as rock bed frames stick out, floors were dirty sticky,only one big towel, eggs are rock hard so breakfast didnt save me money......there was NO WORKING WI-FI even when i called front desk it wasnt fixed .... charged me $30 for a hand towel used to clean up my childs mess....old elevator was messing up often safety hazard

I really enjoyed my stay and I had a far more comfortable stay than I thought I would. The staff at night were very cordial and had excellent manners. The staff in the morning was a little rude but not too bad. I would say WHY would you want to end breakfast at 9am? Most places do 10. That's the only issue I have. Other than that excellent hotel.

The room was very clean. I only had two complaints. First, I had only been in my room about 10 minutes and there was a knock on the door. Before I could get to the door it opened, only at that point did she identify herself as housekeeping. She said she was seeing if I need anything. That shouldn't have happened. Second, the bed sucked! It was hard as a rock. If there had been a full length couch I would have slept there. If the bed had been better then we'd return. But we won't because neither of us had much sleep.

The front desk guy was a little rude upon check-in. He did not want to answer any questions and was not friendly. It was very noisy and sounded like they had a daycare with kids running around the room all day and all night. We had 2 people in our room and only enough towels for 1 person. Only light was by the door and 2 little lamps. The refrigerator had bromen shelves and froze everything in it. The bed was broke to where the head angled down lower then the foot and was very uncomfortable. The flooring was messed up and broke. The desk chair was broke to where you could not lean back in it. It laid all the way back and the arm was broke. There was not any luggage carts to bring your stuff in and out with. House keeping was there at 9 every morning and was upset we were still sleeping and they could not clean and on the last day came at 10 to tell us we needed to check out at 11 which we already knew and we were already getting our stuff ready to go. I felt like i was being treated like a child. I will definitely not stay in that hotel when we go back. I will find a better one

The room Itself smelled like chlorox. It was suffocating. Also the toilet didn’t flush, the sink runs and doesn’t turn off, there are holes in the comforter and walls.

Well...the room i reserved was taken. Guy at the front desk said they were all gone? How can that be when i reserved that room specifically? I mean he was cool and all but still....didn't make since. I'm not getting what i reserved. Also that night till about 4am there were extremely loud neighbors just chatting away with not a care in the world...very loud. It was still worth the price considering.

Used to be worth the price.

Although this is definitely a hotel that needed improvements, we have stayed her many times because for the price - it was worth it. Rooms are always clean and location is convenient for our travel purposes.
However, they now charge you $50 for incidentals (new procedure) and room rate slightly increased, which seems like it is for their “upgrades,” which include working vending machines and they put “new” linoleum in the rooms (over water damaged floors). Breakfast ends at 8 and the options were waffles or muffins. Staff was rude, also a new development.
Won’t be staying here again.

The window to our room was broken in several pieces but duct taped together.
The room smelled of mildew as well as the hallway

I was extremely disappointed when I arrived. Prior to booking I went online and hotel looked so nice, when I checked in a window was broken and replaced with plexiglass, the glass was still in. The room smelled as it had had water damaged. I was very disappointed as to what they called breakfast, as for myself I wouldn’t ever book again at your hotel.

The property is a non smoking property but yet every night people were somking weed in the rooms. People slamming doors and tv were loud. My rooms tv was so old you see static and lines in the tv. When we arrived to our nonsmoking room there were clearly cigarette ashes on the tray with the coffee maker set up in the bathroom. When we got into the room, we saw and killed a cockroach. The back rest cushions were also missing from the couch. We understand it’s a value hotel, but this was pretty bad. Staff was pleasant, the issue is with the facility.

The breakfast that we have booked and paid for was not offered to us even when we told her we had paid for breakfast. On the first two mornings. We saw the the fruit, bread, cereal when she was putting away the plates and utensils. I said if we checked out before 11am would she refund my third night? She said Yes but instead of a rebate she took more funds off of my card! Hotels.com helped me get the funds back. The receptionist was about as unhelpful as she could be!

Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. First, took over 30 mins to check in. It was maybe 11pm, no one there. The guy says we need $50 deposit cash?? This is our 10th hotel that we’ve stayed in, just on our current trip alone. Never heard of that. My fiancé gave up and just paid, knowing we weren’t getting it back but we just wanted a room. This was after maybe 20 minutes of waiting. The guy was almost running back and forth from the office room to the hallway - not saying or doing anything. Then he tells us that we reserved a King bed but all they have left is 1 double bed. Not the biggest deal, but there’s cheating us out of a little more money. Just insisted on a refund, he said he can’t do it. Definitely debated on leaving as he was running more from the hall and back for the next 10 minutes. It was late and we just wanted to go to bed. Finally, 2 women walk in, go to the back and check us in in two seconds. We go to the room, king bed was a nice surprise after he told us there weren’t any. She prewarned us of a hole in the bathroom door from being punched. Not the biggest deal, if that’s the worst thing it’s not bad right? Wrong. The deadbolt was off and wouldn’t slide into the door. The latch was broken. The carpet felt like a piece of plastic sliding on top of broken hard wood. Even the TV was broken. Literally couldn’t sleep because it just didn’t feel safe. I would NEVER recommend this place.
