Had a great time in Tokyo Inn. The room was small but just enough space for one person to stay 4 nights. Everything was clean and my room was tidied up everyday by staff. The hotel is quiet and the staff are very friendly!
The main reason I stayed here was location as the station is right next door to the hotel and can get you to central Tokyo in 30-40 mins.

Highly recommended for a solo trip!

Clean, well-maintained room although the bathroom was definitely a little tight. The fact that there is a Coco's restaurant residing inside the hotel was a big plus as I could get a nice inexpensive meal pretty much whenever I needed it (open daily until 3am), and I loved how the hotel was literally right next to a subway station and the area was still quite quiet.

A cozy hotel with a nice cafe next to it. Clean rooms and I liked origami as a little gift in my room. They provide complimentary means of primary use and different sorts of tea worth trying. Tasty breakfasts and metro is right at the corner so easy in terms of transportation. Also, there are two supermarkets nearby working 24 hours. Quiet at night and i felt safe.

The hotel location is just next to the station. The property is quite old yet cosy enough. However, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Because I had quite problem with another hotel. Tokyo Inn’s staffs tried to help my problem. Thank you very much!

This hotel literally sits on top of Exit 3 of Magome station for the Asakusa line. You take the line on platform 2 towards Gotanda where you transfer to the Yamanote line, and you're in Tokyo within like 20 minutes. Its extremely convenient where this hotel is located.

Not a hotel for the single female traveller

I must start by saying that I was confused between this hotel and the Toyoko Inn ,which is in a better location and caters to a more mixed group than this hotel. It caters for the business man and friends and the walls are thin! I booked for 12 nights but in the end left after 2. The staff were friendly but spoke little to no English,but I doubt they have had much experience there.
Although right next door to a station it is on one of the more obscure lines.

Not near the airport.

For some reason, this is showing up as near the Haneda airport. It is not. While it is very close to a train station, so that you won't have to drag your luggage too far, it doesn't have a lot of anything near. Which means that you will struggle to find anything to eat except the curry house next door (Good if you like curry, not so much if you want to find something else).

The taxi ride to the airport was nearly the same amount as from the airport to the hotels in Shinjuku.

While I can't say what the other Tokyo Inns are like, this one is equivalent to a motel 6 or 8 in the states.

room very small for westerners who are tall. My husband could not close the bathroom door and sit on the toilet at the same time. The bed had 3 walls around it, so uncomfortable for tall people to sleep in. No English cable (other hotels had BBCTV at least). Breakfast was great and very close to the subway

Air con gets turned off

Had a 8 days stay in Tokyo Inn. Hotel is overall ok. Only issue is that the air conditioning will be turned off around midnight and around 10am in the morning. This happened for 3 nights. When we called the front desk, we were told that maintenance is going on. The disruption will last 10 - 20 minutes each time.

Next to the station, distance from city center

The hotel is a bit far from the city center. Additional 20 minutes subway ride is needed to reach major tourist areas and railway interchanges. However this is the cheapest hotel which is next to a subway station. Great one if you'll use the subway pass.
Convenient location, right next to the subway station exit. Comfortable community and convenience store nearby.
Typical hotel at Tokyo. Not many additional facilities, however, the hotel is tidy and clean overall.
A great deal and comfort stay at Tokyo!

Reasonable hotel, a bit out of the way

This hotel is a neat little hotel with pleasant staff and clean reasonable accommodations as far as Tokyo standards go. The facilities are basic with smaller sized rooms that is typical of Tokyo.

The main drawback is that it is a bit further out. Best to get there through the subway to the megome station and up the lift which is next door to the hotel entrance. You may have to change from JR to subway and sometimes need to change on the subway line.

I didn't get time to explore the local area as we were only there for a short period.

Thin walls but great location

The walls are a little thin (You can hear other guests enjoying themselves) but the staff was very kind and the hotel is very conveniently located near a subway station. The beds are hard and the rooms small compared to an American hotel but it did the job and I enjoyed my time there.

Comfy hotel!

Nice hotel with friendly staff, they booked our taxi to the airport. There are toileteries and tea bags available at reception free of charge. The hotel is located right beside a metro station but there is about a 20 min walk to the closest JR station (for Japan railpass holders).

This hotel is in a great location near the Magome Station. Walk out of the hotel, make a right and bamo the train station is right there. My only real gripe was that the restroom was very small otherwise a great hotel.

Regular tokyo business hotel.

It was a pretty standard Japanese hotel where you need only take 2 steps and you reach either the bed, toilet or door. No doubt about cleanliness but room was a little small for a double room. Size of room seemed to be that of a semi-double. Entrance to subway was just next door.

The hotel itself was nice. The services were okay. The type (non smoking) I asked for was not what I got. The room was on a floor for smoking. I have asthma and the smoke triggered attacks in the middle of the night. I told the clerks in the morning and didn't speak enough english to help me. I would not recommend this hotel as one for comfort.

Old Hotel but enough for economy staying

Tokyo Inn is a good hotel to stay if you are on budget. The hotel itself is not luxurious, they are old and in renovation at my time of staying. The staff is helpful but have difficulties on english speaker like us. The advantages is the area is nice to stay and quiet, also the location is just next to a station exit. The disadvantages are the hotel itself is old and the bathroom need to be upgraded. but overall if you are on a budget it is nice to stay in this hotel because of the easy access to the station.

good value one night stay

it is for the convenience of catching an early flight to Haneda Airport. ONE NIGHT ONLY ( a couple maybe in case of emergency ). Everything average but there was a CONSTANT NOISE of the extractor in the bathroom ( inside of the room itself) and we could not sleep. Upon our complaint the night manager offered to share the costs of our cab to the airport. It was a good and kind gesture.

The single occupancy room was very very small. The facilities in the room were very basic. The bathroom is very tiny and even a person of 5'8'' height could not properly bath!
The TV set in the room does not have English options.
Good only if you are looking for night stay only.

The staff was rude to me right off the start ,I got there 2:30 after a long flight and he wouldn't check me in until 3:30 even though there was probably rooms ready he just brought out the rules on me so he didn't have to work right away. Theres only WiFi in the lobby ,the interent in the rooms is wired through an ethernet cable, so you need a labtop to use it. The staffs english was very poor and seem disguised to try to even put an effort to communicate with me, I thought twice before I would want to ask a question in fear that it would go no where and they would be bitter with me.

Price is reasonable.
Basic amenities.
Recommended if staying for short trips, whether for busines or leisure.
Hotel is more for sleeping/bunking over, after a day's work or sightseeing.

Overall it's a good hotel. the price is reasonable for hotels in Tokyo. the room isn't big but I mean it's Tokyo so you actually can't expect something big unless you pay a lot and it's really neat and clean. the bed is comfortable. hotel location is not too bad. it takes around 25min to get down town. surrounding neighborhood isn't so good though. it seems to be really really quiet but there are a few convenient stores where you can get stuff so it's not too bad. I think you basically get what you pay for but the only downside of this hotel is that the staff don't really speak English. I expected people who worked in a hotel to speak more English.

今回は時間が無かったのであまり利用できなかったのですが、たくさんの漫画が読み放題のサービスが楽しかったです。
レストランは無いですが隣のファミリーレストラン・ココスに直結しており24時間食事可能、朝食バイキングを手軽に利用できるのも嬉しかったです。
施設全体も清潔に保たれており、総じて良い施設でした。

私用で年に何度か利用します。駅近でファミレス併設なので食事には困りません。近くにマイバスもありちょっと歩けばマルエツプチもあります。新しいサービスも開始していました。選べる枕とホットレモネード。今回ひとりの予約でしたがダブルのお部屋でのんびりできました。お願いというか改善して欲しいことは便座が冷たいので冬は厳しいこととお茶だけでなくコーヒーもおいていただけたらと思います。
お部屋でエアコンの不具合が発生しました。フロントには報告しませんでしたが暖房がちゃんと効かない。22度設定にすると冷風が出ます。28度まで設定をあげると温風が出ます。さすがに28度では暑すぎるし乾燥するので寝るまでつけておいてけしてから寝ました。点検よろしくお願いします。それ以外は不満はないのでまた利用させていただきます。
