Do NOT stay at this hotel! The Doubletree by Hilton at Aqaba was a huge disappointment. I reserved a Nonsmoking King Superior Room with Sea View. The room was not Nonsmoking and the Sea View was extremely limited. I was placed in a room directly over the pool restaurant, which was full of smokers and incredibly loud. My room reeked of smoke, although smoking is banned in restaurants in Jordan. Additionally it was set far back because of the pool, which significantly impeded the Sea View. I complained to three staff members (Karmen, Abdel & Mustafa). None of them did anything to address my issues. They replied with platitudes (“We will never let this happen again”) and always closed their notes with “Let me know how I can be of further assistance” although they provided no assistance at all. On my last evening, after 5pm, the hotel manager texted to say they had a new room. I was literally packing up to leave. A feeble attempt to fix all the issues when my stay was near complete. Stay somewhere else in Aqaba! I went to dinner at the Movenpick and it was beautiful. I wish I had stayed there instead. I am a Hilton Honors member and an Expedia VIP and was treated like dirt. I wonder if this is because I was the only American staying at the hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Aqaba. The hotel is clean, well-organized, and the staff are very kind and helpful. The location is also very convenient and makes it easy to get around.
One small note: it would be great if the hotel could enforce a stricter no-smoking policy to ensure a more comfortable environment for all guests.

We have had the very best time at Doubletree Aqaba. The location is amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was superb - Ellen, Vickie, Jean-Pauline and Rose in the restaurant deserve a particular mention for going above and beyond to make us feel so welcome, giving us travel tips and engaging brilliantly with my children. Chef Seab in the kitchen was also fantastic, asking if we had any special requests for the buffet. We absolutely loved our time here, would not hesitate to stay again, and would highly recommend!

All night we could hear honking and street noise. The all-day restaurant was very average, staff not attending and looked bored, not great selection in terms of food and taste below the mark.

Great place to relax

Lovely stay here both before and after we went to Petra. We left our luggage here while we overnighted at Wadi Rum and visited Petra. It was a really nice break to relax by the pool and enjoy a clean, Western standard hotel in a country that is otherwise quite dirty and regressive. The pool was clean and sparkling, the reception staff very professional and the breakfast was brilliant! Rooftop bar has great cocktails and fabulous views over the seato Eilat.

The hotel is well located within walkable distance to most sites, shoppijg malls and restaurant. The check-in was very good, there was a nice lady called Suheir whonwas quite helpful and pleasant. Rooms and aervices were good. However, the food served for breakfast was the same on all days with very few varieties. This needs improvement.

The hotel is beautiful, in a great condition and centrally located.
The breakfast buffet is delicious, one of the best we've had in Jordan.
Room is spacious, bathroom is good but the biggest issue was the noise: the room was on the last floor, located under what seems to be the ventilation system of the hotel. With very poor window isolation, the street and the ventilation system were extremely noisy, making it impossible to sleep without earplugs

Great service with dedication.

Room comfortable and cleaned well, had to ask for towels some times. Reception was very good especially Ovoug and Reham. These two girls sorted out our fantastic trip to Petra, so thank you girls it was great. We were looked after very well by Hilton and the food we had in the restaurant was good. My wife really liked the coconut kiss cocktail you did on the roof bar.

The hotel was fantastic. Centrally located near the beach in downtown Aqaba. The hotel was very clean, the room was very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. Roa’a checked us in and greeted us with a warm smile and friendly attitude. We received excellent treatment also by Reham and Oroub. The dining and live music was spectacular at Diwan, the rooftop bar. The only negative, if there were one to give is that we were not able to get hot water in the shower. Other than that this was a great hotel and we would definitely stay again

- Not on a private beach - the closest public beach is not organized. The room has a slightly suffocating smell. Not a very rich breakfast.

Been to Aqaba several times however this time is different and despite the restrictions due to COVID 19 ,DT by Hilton Team really made our stay Fabulous, starting with warm welcoming room & pool cleanness and very decent staff, my stay included half board which I wasn't aware that there is no open Buffett and I wanted to cancel or get a refund . However the team specially Mr.Ahmad decided to make the stay very enjoyable and he did. All staff were very Friendly ,decent to serve us on 7th floor restaurant where all safety measures applied.
The served dinner was absolutely Perfect left us with no words to say . would like to thank Duty Manager Ahmad Nasrallah and his team who really made our stay very pleasant.

The staff, mainly Murad, were very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is at a very good location. There were no slippers and robes but the staff reacted relatively quickly and resolved any issues. The spa area is rather small but it has a relaxing atmosphere.

This place was lovely. There was a small mixup with our booking when we were checking in that had us worried but they resolved it quickly and there was no problem at all. (basically someone with the same name had been checked into our room and vice versa). The free warm cookie on check in was perfection. Great service and friendly staff.

If you are booking Avis car to the hotel, that does not actually mean to the hotel, you have to walk 5/10 mins down the road to get to the Avis office to pickup your car.

Thanks for a great stay

The room was absolutely superb, it was more of a suite than a room. My only minor criticism would be that the shower door needed adjusting as it didn't close and water soaked the floor. Despite being reported on our first night no repair was carried out during the week. Nevertheless, this was a separate shower enclosure and there was still a shower over the bath that we could use I would recommend this as a great hotel to stay at.

The staffs are all very friendly and helpful. We even had our room upgraded as it was our honeymoon. The private beach and boat tour that we joint through the hotel was amazing and really worth the price. But the condition of the hotel is a bit old in style and also the hardware. The dinner is a bit disappointing as the turnover seems to be a bit too low to keep the food fresh. Overall a good stay anyway because of the nice people there.

certainly not five star. We had a few maintenance issues in the first room and even the second room had a couple of problems. Overall a little tired and in need of some maintenance in the bedrooms.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Petra. Hotel was fine, but hardly 5 stars.

There is a pool, super beautiful. But it closes at 7pm, so not much time to visit it after a day of adventuring. No bathrobes or anything. To get a key to the changing room \"go to the reception on first floor\".

Little stuff like that. Concierge couldn't get us a taxi, and rental car we got offered cost 3x what it did online.

Special honors for the rooftop bar. The bar was amazing, with absolutely impeccable service. Must visit!
