My stay at Al Manara in Aqaba was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, the service felt warm and genuine. The team went out of their way to accommodate my requests, including offering a late checkout free of charge, which I really appreciated.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options and attentive service throughout. The property itself is beautifully designed, perfectly located, and exudes understated luxury.

Overall, Al Manara exceeded expectations in every way — a truly memorable experience that reflects what great hospitality should feel like.

This resort is very beautiful. Sea view from the room and sunset view from the infinity pool were simply spectacular. The restaurant offered nice view as well. We went to a restaurant in the adjacent resort, Westin. The grounds were stunning. Spending a couple of more nights there should be nicer.

We had an issue with smoke smell in our first room ( was supposed to be non smoking but previous guests ignored this) and the manager made it right within minutes. What a wonderful time and an even more wonderful staff. From Eyad, the hotel manager, to Ismael and Kenneth from the restaurant, to the warm and contagious smile of Suha. This stay had no misses. Ann from housekeeping was a delight. I absolutely loved everything about my stay. There was an issue with my food order and Ahmad at the pool immediately notified the manager, they rectified the issue immediately and made me feel welcomed. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Aqaba. This trip and the time at Al Manara was everything I needed and more.

We had the most incredible four day stay at the Al Manara. An absolutely stunning property from the minute you enter the gates, drive up to the front doors, greeted at reception and then enter your room to the beautiful ocean view, everything took our breath away. The welcome by Sahar could not have been friendlier. As our stay proceeded we were greeted with great smiles and warm welcomes by everyone - management (at every level), restaurant reception, Suna and servers Cecil, Daniella and Yvonne (all stars) Kenneth at the pool snack bar, so, so accommodating, Rahmann, so kind and generous, Kadek and Crystal at the Spa, fabulous, Rose, the housekeeper, all touched our hearts in a very special way. We have travelled extensively in SE Asia, Europe and North America and we have never felt the same level of sincere welcome and attention. We saw many spectacular highlights in Jordan but the thing that touched us most was the people. All those at this hotel did their very best ( as one of the managers shared) to not only make you feel like you are at your second home but you are actually at home. They succeeded at every level. This hotel is great and the staff are super helpful and friendly. It is a short cab ride from the hotel to Ayla Marina and a 15 min walk to the main st in Aqaba. The staff here are very attentive and friendly. The amenities in the rooms are great and pool / beach areas are super nice. The only down side is that the hotel doesn’t offer any water sports

Check in took over an hour. They have only two people handling the entire hotel. If you have a question you need to wait 15 minutes or longer. The lobby was full of waiting people almost all day and in the evening.
Staff are friendly but the hotel is obviously understaffed for a 5 star hotel

From the beginning since the arrival everything was smooth and nice.

Great atmosphere, the food was great ( from the restaurant to the buffet), I must say that chef Ismael and the chef Rami were great hosts.

I sustained a foot injury while swimming at their supposedly clean beach. Despite seeking assistance from the administration office, none was provided. I had to personally take a cab to the hospital for treatment. Surprisingly, there was no follow-up or concern from the hotel staff regarding my injury. Such oversight is unacceptable, especially for a prestigious hotel of this caliber.

Al Manara is the best hotel we’ve stayed at during our Jordan visit and definitely a must stay if you’re ending your trip in Aqaba. We started off in our trip Amman in a “5 star” hotel where the experience was horrible, dirty and old room, and very expensive and frankly bad food. So heading to our last stop we didn’t have much expectation. Boy were we pleasantly surprised!

First of all we had no ideas Al Manara was in fact under Marriott hotel brand. It’s actually part of a larger development where it’s situated next to a Westin and more hotels being built right across the way. The service from the concierge to the restaurant staff were all well trained and is comparable to any big city 5 star hotel. They even offered us a 4pm checkout time knowing we had a very late flight. The rooms were spacious and clean and have everything you need. Al Manara also has several pools along with a private beach, perfect for unwinding after driving through the length of Jordan. The food was also terrific! Food in Jordan frankly is a bit hit or miss, same cannot be said here. The food not only was on par with a major city, it’s also very affordable! We happened to be there during Christmas Eve and enjoyed a scrumptious Christmas buffet. And as an added bonus , if you’re a cat lover definitely ask to sit outside. There’s a pregnant mama cat that roams the restaurant politely asking for food, and there’s also many kittens eager to be fed as well (as long as the bossy mama cat isn’t around, the

From the personal attention of our concierge Karen (Argentina) who was wonderful, always rapidly responding and going the extra mile for us to have an amazing week stay.
To the food and attention of all the restaurant staff who always had a smile on their faces and great fresh food.
To the room cleaning service who would make our stay special leaving decorative towel arrangements on our bed.
To our guide and driver Amar from Discovery Jordan who was amazing and took us to Petra, Wadi Rum and The Dead Sea and brought us a special gift the last day.

We enjoyed the beauty of the resort, swimming in the lagoon before sunset, eating the fine buffet dinner (including freshly broiled fish and some other seafood) on the patio, the quality of the room, the view of the Red Sea and lagoon from the room's balcony, the gentle cats on the hotel's grounds, the mild northerly breezes in November, swimming and sunbathing on the beach on the Red Sea, and the focused effort of the hotel staff to make the stay perfect.

Al Manara is a beautiful hotel located in a perfect location. The hotel has a gorgeous pool and two very beautiful beaches which are quite large. Everyone at the hotel is incredibly friendly, in particular Eyad the General Manager of the hotel who got to know us by name throughout our stay. I would like to highlight a few other standout employees such as Jean at the Taybeh restaurant who always made each of our meals so pleasant with her great service. Amer and his recreation team did a great job as well. I was also pleasantly surprised at how focused Ahmad and all of the lifeguards were keeping everyone safe. And Mohammad always made us feel welcome by offering us coffee every time we entered the resort. The hotel is brand new, quite large, and just a great place to be at. I highly recommend it as I think it is the best one in Aqaba. If you happen to want to scuba dive when you are there Fajir who works at Sea Breeze Divers does a great job booking your tour and I can't recommend that company enough. We had a great day snorkeling and diving and they were without a doubt one of the best dive shops I have ever worked with.

Best hotel for customer service! Every staff member from the entrance to the reception to the cleaner is kind and courteous and always willing to help. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of variety and able to make extra items if you ask them. The hotel itself is kitted out with modern Arabic decor and has a good vibe and a musky fragrance running through the corridors. If you are in Aqaba, this is the hotel to stay at!

Looks 5 star but definitely not 5 star services. On our last day at the hotel, my kids were unable to use the pool since we were supposed to leave to the airport at noon and the pool attendants were still cleaning the pool at 11am even though the pool was supposed to open at 9am. Only after I made a scene was I invited to use their so-called VIP beach club but it was already too late. Terrible customer service. Also for a 5 star hotel their bathroom amenities are cheap Chinese made products. The Movenpick had fancy high end Jordanian dead sea bathroom amenities. Also the hotel has only one relatively tiny pool compared to several pools at other Aqaba resorts.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff & we were in a nice big room overlooking the lagoon. Unfortunately they are doing work on the swimming pool at the moment which meant the view wasn’t as nice as it would be normally & there was the noise of the workmen but the hours were restricted so it didn’t really affect us that much. The food was good with plenty of choice of both local & world cuisine but you’re also close enough to walk to plenty of local restaurants. Security was very much present with an x-ray machine for bags & a metal detector to walk through whenever entering the hotel.

We had a great experience at the Al Manara hotel . The rooms are clean , breakfast was the best you could ask for, dinner was okay, but the best part of staying here was the staff!

We had a great time thanks to the hospitality and friendliness of all people working in Al Manara. Food is great and high quality with plenty of vegetarian options both for breakfast and dinner. The property itself is new and fabulous with lots of space and atmospheric design, located directly on the shores of the Red Sea. Yet it is the people working in Al Manara that made our stay one of the most memorable hotel experiences ever for us - thank you all!

Amazing hotel, one of our best stays in years of travelling. Nicely designed & spacious room, great food (both in terms of variety and quality), super friendly, hospitable staff - in the restaurant, at the reception, on the beach, everywhere! We felt truly welcomed.
In addition, the cooking class is definitely something to recommend - you can enter a really professional kitchen and learn from smiling local chefs how to cook Jordanian dishes (but also international if that is what you prefer) - after the class you can enjoy what you prepared in your room.
We will definitely be back if we visit Jordan again!

Everything was perfect. The warm welcome, the Amazing Staff, the superb food. Bath and bedroom were perfectly clean and very well maintained. Heated infinity pool is unmissable.

Excellent service but facilites disappointing

The service and staff is excellent, absolutely great. It's a very nice,new hotel, quality design, nice rooms.
Most rooms don't really have 'Red Sea views' though, the hotel is in a slightly awkward corner next to a small bay/marina, so you can see some water, but it's not the same as 'proper' sea views. Some good restaurants and bars.
But, for a resort like this, the facilities are a bit underwhelming: there is a small spa that is shared with the Westin, charged at $20/person per day, with a very small sauna, lukewarm steamroom and a very small indoor pool. There is also a small-ish outdoor pool and a gym, but compared to other resorts in the same area or the Dead Sea resorts it's very minimal... Some other 5* resorts had multiple indoor and outdoor pools, a large spa, tennis courts...
But overall, it's a very nice hotel with amazing staff andservice levels.

Lovely hotel with great views and location

Beautiful hotel in a great location. It’s 18 months old and you can tell, it’s in top condition. We had a sea view room which was brilliant. Great touches in the room and view from balcony. The breakfast was ok. There is no heated pool or jacuzzi which would have been nice in December.
