A wonderful hotel in easy walking distance to the Alcazar, Cathedral Square and the Aqueduct. A beautiful hotel, our room was very comfortable and spotless with a lovely outlook over the city walls. Breakfast was excellent with something for everyone. Onsite parking is fabulous and was fairly straightforward navigating the old city. We spent 3 bights and really enjoyed our stay.

I booked on Orbitz and paid for a room. I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 PM and was informed they had oversold their rooms and they had no accommodation for me. Given the late hour, and the fact that they had not called me to inform me of this in advance, I was not able to find another hotel room in Segovia on short notice. I ended up sleeping in my car. It was a disaster.

Driving in Segovia is a nightmare. This is one of the only hotels that has onsite parking. Through my own mismanagement I failed to reserve parking and had it not been for the efforts of the front desk staff I probably would have had to forfeit the second day of our stay. Fortunately, the hotel was able to accommodate me. The hotel is remarkably modern considering its location. It is clean and within walking distance of some nice restaurants.

This is a lovely hotel within easy walking distance of the Alcazar, and a short walk to the Roman Aqueducts and the ancient Jewish quarter. The hotel is situated between two parallel roads, one of which was being re- surfaced whike we were there, but workmen were helpful in allowing us access. A playground is nearby for those with kids.

Very nice room although for some reason the A/C would cycle off at night and I would wake up hot. I am not sure how it was regulated. Breakfast was not included but I think the cost was ~9E. I did not find the staff particularly friendly and one of the desk attendants on the evening shift seemed particularly surly. When we checked in he provided very little in the way of advice or commentary and during our second night he was even more unfriendly. Perhaps because we were not Spanish and spoke very limited Spanish? The property was nice and the other members of the staff were nice enough but generally I wouldn't say they went out of their way to be helpful. Also, be prepared to pay for everything extra including water.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The location is suburb and the views are great. They have parking (a rare thing in the city center) and even have a Tesla charger! The garage was full when we arrived but we were able to find convenient free street parking. I was especially impressed by the the young woman working to check us in (wish I had gotten her name). I needed some help with translating a form required for COVID testing and she was very helpful. Also suggested several good places to eat. Segovia is a beautiful town.

This is an absolutely wonderful property to stay at in Segovia. So close to all the historic areas and the Alcazar. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Parking is available on site and there is an elevator from the garage to the floors. The patio is comfortable and gives you a good view of the valley. Numerous restaurant choices within 8-10 minute walk.

This quaint hotel is conveniently located between the cathedral and castle. Our back patio had spectacular views of the castle. Breakfast was included and had many choices.
Although our fridge didn’t work, the staff was accommodating and gave us ice. I would definitely stay here again.

Superb boutique hotel

This amazing boutique hotel has an excellent center location in the historic city of Segovia. It is very well run, with superb customer service and amenities. The double bed room was large with a superb mattress, soft cotton sheets and plenty of pillows. The bathroom was also large, with a good shower pressure. You cannot beat the value for this jewel hotel. We were very impressed and highly recommended it.

Great location. A bit difficult to drop off luggage and check in if you are on your own. There is a small park area just before the front of the hotel that is temporarily good if a spot is free. My room was closest to the reception and so a bit noisy with people traffic walking past.

The quality of the room and the building was on a level that well exceeded its price.

My room was at street level, with the large bathroom window facing the street - with a see-through curtain. If I could see the good people of Segovia from the shower, they can probably see me! I just made sure that the door was steamed up first. Not a big deal for me, and the general quality of the place made up for it. The problem might have only been with that particular room.

Great hotel in lovely location.

Hotel is on a quiet road which runs from the Cathedral to the Alcazar. Our room was very modern and clean, beautifully situated and the view from the balcony breathe-taking. My only tiny reservation was about the facilities in the room which all reeked a bit of cost cutting eg tiny paper cup provided for tea and coffee but wasn't replaced when used, towels a little on the thin side etc. Saying this, I would definitely use this hotel again.

Perfectly located for exploring \"Old\" Segovia, this place is just around the corner from el Alcazar, and a pleasant stroll to all the other Old-Town sites (such as the cathedral and the aqueduct). The staff were all friendly and helpful and available 24 hours. Especially Elena whose English is far better than my Spanish! At the very reasonable price, Hotel Don Felipe punches way above its weight, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms and a perfect location.

Don't let the 3* fool you and enjoy a 5* stay

We arrived and were greeted with a lovely warm welcome at reception which always bodes well in our view. Our family room was on the ground floor and was a more than adequate double (twins joined) with a put up bed for our son and a very large, clean and well fitted bathroom, plus the added bonus of a door onto the garden so we can enjoy the views. Any requests we had during our stay were met with a smile and everything seemed no trouble for the DF team. It is not a luxurious or ostentatious hotel, but is just a well designed mix of modern and classic without too much fuss and, like our room, the public areas are immaculate and spacious so you feel very relaxed. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area as it was a truly lucky find for us.

We wanted somewhere close to the old town, and with secure parking as we were en-route through Spain from Bilbao to Malaga with a lot of our belongings in the car. Was surprised to find a hotel right in the centre of the old town with secure underground parking. The hotel decor was impressive, and the room bright, well furnished and super clean. All of the sights were within walking distance, with the Alcazar in one direction and the Roman aqueduct in the other. The breakfast buffet was good, but the hotel did not have a restaurant - though there were plenty nearby. A gem of a hotel.

My husband and I were only in Segovia for one night, but this hotel still managed to feel like home. Our room was clean, neat and tidy, with coffee machine and mini-bar. It was quite spacious. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, spoke fluent English and helped us pick up a few more useful Spanish phrases. The garden area was a lovely spot to have a drink in the evening.

Fab hotel at a great price. Having been charged for parking and breakfast at all other hotels in Spain, everything was included here. Lovely place, nice staff, and it all would have been better later in the season when sitting on the terrace would have been less chilly. Only niggle was that the breakfast was not quite as good as elsewhere, but hardly terrible. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel close to the town centre.

Sat nav took us directly to the location despite the narrow twisting streets. Staff quickly processed our booking and directed us to the secure garage. Facilities excellent with a good choice at breakfast. Location near to the town centre and thus within easy reach of the tourist sites, shops, bars and restaurants. Easy check out and easier route to return back to the main roads. Quiet and relaxing.

Arrived early morning because we caught the fast train from Madrid and were very pleased our room was available immediately. We had a room with a view overlooking the terrace. The room was well set up with a good bathroom. Breakfast was fine. Free wifi was fast and reliable. We thought the hotel represented very good value for money.

We took the trail to the bottom behind the Alcazar for late-afternoon, perfectly lit photos from below. This was our favorite hotel on the entire trip.

Favorite hotel from our 2 week trip in Spain

Don Felipe was an amazing hotel. It is beautifully maintained with great indoor and outdoor space. You could not have a better location in Segovia. We walked to all the sites and had shops and restaurants and bars within 2 min walk.

The hotel has an amazing view of the Alcazar from the back terrace. We also had a terrace off our room.

The rooms were decently-sized and very comfortable.... and it sounds strange, but the hotel smelled so nice.

Breakfast was outstanding. Parking was also on-site and decently priced.

I wish we had stayed there for more than one night.

ONCE FOUND AND SETTLED IN , IT WAS A SUPER BASE TO DISCOVER THE LOVELY CITY OF SEGOVIA.
