The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful. The yukatas for the onsen are on the first floor, there is room service and drink service until 12:00am. The options can be quite limited and pricey but I suggest is order delivery service and get something you’d want. The nearest restaurant is about 10-15 min walk up hill. Karaoke room is quite expensive for 1 hour. The view that we received of the foliage was amazing. The onsen itself was 7/10, it’s not like the onsen you get in Hokkaido but it’s still nice. Overall would stay here again, if other ryokans are full.

We had both a great massage in the spa. We liked the variety of hot water baths. We had a special Japanese dinner with 17 pots and pans; quite an experience. It's handy that a little shops in the lobby sell food, drinks, trinkets and souvenirs. I liked my kimono and wished that I could take it with me. Overall a very Japanese experience.

Everything was amazing, food and staff accomodation was absolutely top notch. The public open air bath was so relaxing, also equipped with a sauna and an ice cold bath. We also had the room with private open air bath and the view to the outside was amazing from the bath. Also has free shuttle to and from the closest train station (Ikeda Station) all you have to do is just make reservation with front desk. There are beautiful hikes nearby as well.

Good Onsen in the mountainous part of North Osaka, excellent food and nice bath, complete with winter sakura blossoming at the outdoor pool. Only 10min walk from a wonderful temple with rare Buddhist art and autumn foliage. Transportation with a hotel shuttle from the Ikeda town, which has interesting Rakugo Museum with English videos and old castle ruins, close to Minoh Expo park.

I take a water thermometer when I travel to onsens The water temperatures in both the mens and women's baths were inconsistent, and were never as hot as I have experienced at other facilities. No complaints, just nothing extraordinary. Very convenient to Umeda Station.

Very Dirty Hotel. Dusty from ceiling lights to old and not well maintained equipment. The hotel is right, it is hotel in HELL. Not recommended. The services is really bad from reception from checkin and checkout.

Perfect place to unwind

Our stay here was absolutely delightful. Check-in was simple even with the staff's limited English. Our room itself was clean, comfortable and ready by the time we got there. We didn't opt for their dinner but their breakfast spread was plenty and delicious. Service staff were kind and helpful. If you choose to use their free shuttle bus service, remember to call the hotel first to make a booking as attendance will be taken.

Beyond excellent service!

I can't recommend this hotel enough! Great views, comfortable and clean rooms, you can really get a feel of Japanese style hospitality here. The service was beyond compare, being shown the room and poured tea upon check in as well as private dining areas in a wonderful restaurant. I had a wonderful experience start to finish and the shuttle to and from the hotel from the nearest station is the best complimentary service they offer. I'd love to stay again!

The hotel was on the older side, however it was wonderful. The tatami mats made for a different experience. The grounds around the property was also beautiful. The service was always kind and accommodating. The bus shuttle to the Ikeda rail station was convenient and always on time. I would definitely return. In fact, my adult kids would love for us to have a family trip there.

Nice place to stay in Osaka!

I have a very nice experience with Fushioukaku. The ryokan was a nice experience for anyone who has not been to a ryokan - traditional Japanese hospitality and outdoor onsen. Although the ryokan itself is further away from the city center, it is worth the stay. They do provide free shuttle to transfer from the hotel to the nearby Ikeda station and back.

The ryokan is a little old and need upgrade as far as furniture and carpets in the room but the hospitality and service was outstanding. The cafe and restaurant were clean with very nice and comfortable furniture. If you sit at the outdoor cafe, they will provide blankets in case you are cold. The food were served with excellent presentation and taste delicious as well.

The onsen was the highlight. They provide lockers, soap, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryers, sanitized combs, etc. Clean and organized, the onsen was a great experience as well as relaxing. The atmosphere was soothing and peaceful.

Overall, I recommend Fushioukaku to anyone who wants to experience traditional Japanese hospitality. I definitely will stay there again.

Peace and Tranquility in traditional style

This hotel has everything you need to chill and relax, but not for \"luxury spa\" lovers. This is strictly traditional Japanese. The staff are excellent and will guide you through you experience. Some rooms have outdoor personal bathing and there are communal hot springs to try as well. The wearing of a yukate is optional and helps add to the ambience. We visited Fushioukaku at the end of a busy holiday to relax and it was great. The package included a Japanese meal in the evening which was nothing less than a banquet. There is also a shuttle bus to collect you from Ikeda station. Highly recommended😁😁

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in Japan

This is the most terrible hotel that i have ever stayed in Japan:
1. Service is bad. The reception let us move our luggage to the hotel room and he was just watching;
2. The reception even did not step in the hotel room, we wondered if there is ghost around? He did not even show us the facilities in the room and get away;
3. The hotel room was dirty with bad smell of cigarette;
4. The open air hot spring in our room was in a bad location, we can see our neighborhood clearly and vice versa;
5. The open air hot spring in our room was only ordinary water,not hot spring;
6. The facilities were old and dirty, the hair dryer was full of dust;
7. The hotel room was entirely uncomfortable for dirty and old equipments;
8. The dinner was horrible. It is our first time not to eat the dinner provided by the hotel;
9. Bad location. It is very far away from the city. We took a train, then a tram and finally a bus to get to the hotel;
10. Unable to book the hotel shuttle bus to travel between the Ikeda station and the hotel, you are expected to use the bus instead;
11. There is NO WiFi in the hotel room!
12. You can buy nothing from the convenient store since it was closed at 9:00pm!!
13. It is a waste of time and money to stay in this hotel!

From outside looks really not friendly, but inside it's a very nice hotel. Beautiful hot spring and possibility with having bathtub at your balcony makes it very cosy. We were disappointed that bathtub at the balcony doesnt have hot spring but regular water - maybe something to think about!
Great service, but far from anything, so if you dont want to pay for the dinner at the hotel buy your food in advance!
There is nice temple to see 5min away - highly recommended!

A Good Japanese Hotel with Hot Springs!

So the main reason why we booked this hotel was because it had hot springs! The hot springs were amazing (the hotel even provided yukatas for us to wear to it) and it certainly was an experience! (Considering none of us had ever been to a public bath/hot springs...)

As for the room, we learned that the \"living room\" area was also our \"bedroom\" area in that, in the evening, the hotel staff would move the table and seats off to the side and lay out bedding for us. Then, sometime in the morning, the staff would put the bedding away and move the table and seats back. Also, having an air conditioner in the living room was great because of the high humidity during the summer.

The hotel also provided breakfast, had a small shop, a tea house, and two restaurants on-site (a ramen shop and a full restaurant we never tried out) as well. We also noticed that they had an arcade (as seen in Expedia's pictures) and found that it wasn't as nice as the (single) picture showed. It was still a decent arcade but it didn't help that there wasn't a change dispenser.

One thing to note though is that the hotel is located far from the station, but you can take either the hotel shuttle (to and from the station during certain hours), the local bus line, or a taxi. We missed the shuttle a couple of times and ended up taking the bus, but only once did it take us to the hotel's bus stop. For the other times, we had to walk from the next closest stop, which took us a couple of minutes.

a place to relax not convenient for sightseeing.

A quiet place to stay and relax with the reasonably good ONSEN. The only negative is there is no WiFi in the room. There is Nothing around the hotel area to see except to enjoy the ONSEN. Make sure to take the breakfast & Dinner package or else not easily to get food around except to take bus or taxi to Ikeda station after 5.40pm. Not a convenient place to stay if you intend to go site seeing which is a bit far from city centre. Hotel food is reasonable and room size is acceptable.

A quiet place for relaxation.

The overall service is good with good ONSEN facility. Take the train from Umeda station to Ikeda station. The shuttle bus from Ikeda station to hotel is good for those with luggage though the service could be extended to beyond 5.40pm would be excellent. Be punctual as the bus leaves on time. The buffet breakfast and the dinner is reasonable with nothing special. The room size is reasonable. The area is rather quiet with nothing much to see. It is a good place to stay for relaxation to enjoy the ONSEN.

Fushioukaku is located further away from Osaka but an amazing spot if you want more of a relaxing getaway in a traditional ryokan. The onsen is quite an experience but we also had our own hot tub on our balcony.
We were greeted quite warmly with our host taking us to our room pouring us tea and showing us around the room. The room was nice and tidy. Our room did smell of smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room.
The breakfast offered both traditional and western options, with both traditional and western seating.
This was the part of our trip where we got to relax from all the usual tourist things was a major highlight of our Japanese experience.
The shuttle bus to/from the local station was also quite useful.

We had a night's stay in this hotel. We got a traditional room with a private bath. It was very comfortable for 5 persons. We went down to the outdoor baths too. Nice! The meals were awesome too! In the morning after check out, we had a shuttle bus to ferry us to the nearest subway station. There are only 4 trips per day and had to book. We missed it when we went to the hotel so we took a public bus instead. There are at least 2 buses that leads to the hotel. The bus stops right outside the hotel. Accessible.

Great Japan onsen ryokan experience

오사카 여행의 마지막 날에 온 료칸이에요~ 기대이상 너무 좋았어요. 다들 너무 친절하시고~ 후기에 저녁이 별로이신 분들이 있어 걱정했는데 저희는 정말 맛있게 잘 먹었어요~ 색다른 경험이었네요.. 그리고 무엇보다 온천물이 정말 너무 좋았어요. 씻고 로션을 바르지 않아도 매끈매끈^^ 사람도 많지 않아 편하게 잘 지내다 왔습니다. 재방문의사 있어요~~

ただ、建物自体が古いせいかエレベーターがとても狭く荷物用に借りたカートを入れると人がギリギリ1人入れるかどうかというものでした。
そちらが唯一の不満ポイントです。

特別な日が台無し

最初の結婚記念日、新しく迎えた家族と3人で素敵な週末を過ごそうと宿を探しました。
条件はベビーベッド貸出あり。

当時サイトにはベビーベッド貸出ありと記載されていました。
条件に合うので予約をし、予約時に備考欄にも改めて貸出依頼を記載しました。

宿に着いて、これから良い時間が過ごせると思いましたが真逆でした。

まずフロントスタッフの身なりがだらしがなく、言葉も聞きづらい。
部屋まで荷物を持って行ってくれた女性の方にベビーベッドを依頼したら把握されていない感じ、違う男性スタッフが持ってきたのはベビーベッドでは無いもの。
改めてそのスタッフから話を聞くとベビーベッドの貸出はしていないとの事。
あれ？と思いながら布団を持ってきましょうかと言うのでお願いしました。
が、その後電話で布団は追加料金がかかるとの事。
後から言う事に不信感を感じたので、布団は下げてもらいました。
その布団は何故か薄暗く清潔とは到底言えないような非常階段の隅に置いてありました。
チェックアウトする翌日まで置かれておりました。
サイトにあると記載されていたものが、宿に着いた後からないと言われたので、予約完了のメールやサイト情報など男性スタッフに見せましたが、そもそも貸出はしていない。サイトから宿に届く客の情報にも備考欄で書いた貸出依頼は届いていないし、そもそも予約の係ではないので知らない。という対応をされる。

ホテルズドットコムにも経緯を説明し、サイトから宿に確認してもらいましたが、サイトの記載ミスとの事。
サイト側もそうだが、宿側も情報の確認しないのは如何かなものか。
サイトと宿の電話でのやり取りで、宿のスタッフのはっきりしない対応にはホテルズドットコムのコールセンターの方も困っていました。

まだ非常階段に置いてあった布団を横目にチェックアウトに向かい、常務だか専務だかと話をしました。
その方からの謝罪はありましたが、男性スタッフからの謝罪はなし。
せっかくの大事な時間を台無しにされて怒りもありましたが、とにかく悲しくなりました。
サイトのホテル情報に騙されてお金を支払ってしまいました。
今は訂正されているようです。
同じ嫌な思いを他の方にはしてほしくないので書かせて頂きました。
もう二度と利用することはないでしょう。

大阪近郊でいいお宿ですよ。

実は2回目になります。1回目と違い、勝手がわかっていたので、さらに過ごしやかったです。リニューアルされた客室もたいへんきれいでした。温泉は以前は温度が熱かったように感じたのですが、今回は心地よく入れました。プールもあるので、息子はたいへん喜んでいましたし、朝ご飯もたいへん美味しかったです。また伺いたく思います。

早餐有特色，溫泉也不錯，就是池子太小了。第一天入住時未鋪床，我自己鋪時發現沒有床單，因為時間較晚就不想麻煩了。第二天情況有改善，整體工作人員服務態度還是很好的。

ホテルはよかった！予約サイトとの連携改善に期待します。

予約サイトとホテル間との意思疎通に問題があり、不快なスタートとなってしまいましたが、ホテルの方にはそれなりに対応して頂いた感じがあり、好感を持てました。
ホテルについて、外観はややくたびれた感じだったですが、内装は綺麗に整えてあり、部屋の内装も綺麗でした。禁煙で予約していたのに、灰皿が置かれていたのは少し疑問でしたが。夕食、朝食とも美味しく頂きました。温泉の方も充分満足できました。露天風呂も良かったです。ライトアップに息子は喜んでました。
問題の予約サイトとホテル間の問題ですが、予約サイトにはちゃんと子供の年齢を登録していた（4歳と1歳）にも関わらず、予約サイトからホテルに伝えられたのは、「大人と同料金の子供1人とそれに準ずる子供1人」ということでした。料金は予約サイトで前払いしており、ホテル側では返金できず。ホテル側としても、そのオーダーで準備をしてしまっていると。4歳の子供に大人のコース料理が要りますか？1歳の子供に大人とほぼ同じ内容のコース料理が要りますか？
予約サイトに電話しても、結局、解決に至らず。ホテル側は、追加料金なしで子供用の料理を用意して、食事に関わる飲料代をサービスしてくれるという対応をして頂けました。
思い返せば、予約サイトで予約時に、「税およびサービス料」という形で予約前に表示されていた価格と支払い額が随分変わっていた時にオカシイと気付くべきでした。
予約サイトは、せっかくこちらが入力している子供の年齢の情報を適切に扱って欲しいです。ホテル側は、予約サイトもしくは予約者に子供の年齢確認をしてもらえるように改善して頂ければ、こういう事態はなくなるのではないでしょうか？

酒店的穿梭巴士並沒有行李箱，所以行李只能放在座位上，如遇上多客人搭乘的時候，這會是個問題。行李安排應該可以更妥善。另外酒店前線員工可以更友善一點

เมื่อเทียบกับราคาแล้วโรงแรมใหญ่และดีมาก โดยเฉพาะออนเซน มีทุกอย่างให้บริการครีมล้างหน้าอาบน้ำสระผม ไปจนถึงอุปกรณ์เสริมสวย ห้องออนเซนแยกชายหญิง อาหารเช้าอร่อยมาก บรรยากาศดี

接駁車資料不太周全，幸好我們也能找到，check in員工其中一個是香港，講了不少小道消息給我知，溫泉、晚餐、房間都十分之好

생각보다 실망했어요

오사카에서 가까운 료칸을 찾다가 가게되었는데
오래된 곳이다보니 시설이 노후된건 어쩔수없는 부분이라 생각했는데
깨끗하지 못한 모습에 많이 놀랐습니다
창문에 거미줄하며 이불에 얼룩 등이 너무 마음에 안들었어요
하지만 조식과 석식은 맛있었고 직원들이 친절해서 그 부분은 좋았습니다

お盆で、結構いっぱいでした。建物は少し古い感じでしたが、和室4人で泊まったところ思ったより広く落ち着いた部屋でした。温泉良かったです。プールは入りませんでした。朝食バイキングいただきました、手作り豆腐美味しかったです。まぁまぁ種類も有りました。広い会議室みたいな食堂感と、コーヒーが今一でしたが、概ねファミリーには満足です

사진보다 더 좋은 후시오우카쿠!

료칸 여행을 계획하고 예약을 할 때부터 사진을 보고 너무 많이 기대했는데, 도착해서 본 료칸은 사진보다 이상으로 깨끗하고 너무 좋았습니다. 뭐든 반전이 있을 거라고 생각했던 제가 부끄러울 정도였어요.
일단 객실의 상태와 청결은 최상이었고, 무엇보다 서비스가 훌륭했습니다. 어르신 모시고 가시는 분들에게는 더 없는 곳일 듯 합니다.
다른 분들이 료칸의 식사에 대해 입맛에 안맞았다고 하시는데, 저는 아주 맛있게 잘 먹었고, 매일 나오는 식사가 기대될 정도였습니다.
편하고 훌륭한 여행을 선물받은 기분으로 즐긴 료칸. 다음에도 또 가고 싶네요~

大阪から近くていいところ

家族で利用させていただきました。大阪から近場でしたが、いいところがあるのだと確認できました。送迎のバスのサービスには助かりましたし、子供に優しいお宿でした。食事も美味しくいただきました。また行きたいと思います。ありがとうございました。

모두들 만족스러워하는 여행이였습니다
한국인 직원분 계셔서 소통하는데도 불편함이 없었습니다.
음식도 맛있었구요~

The room is smaller than expected, especially for a family of three members. The noodle restaurant serves till midnight and is of much help for those who check in late due to delayed flight though the food is sort of...requiring improvement.
