Had a wonderful stay at the Green Rich Hotel. It was a bonus to have shuttle service from the airport though it's literally a 10 minute walk. However, if you have a 90 y/o dad with you, it's helpful since a taxi would definitely not take you. When I called earlier about pick up times, they say to call them when you need the ride. However, if you don't have a cell phone or a phone that can dial in Japan, it's hard to find a public phone these days. I ended up going to the information desk and they called the hotel on my behalf!

The other issue by not having a cell phone is that you can't make calls from the hotel phone. You can receive calls from the outside but no calls going to the outside are possible. That seems to be the case with a lot of hotels these days. They said that they incorporated this policy this year.

Outside of the hotel, we didn't find much in terms of restaurants. We arrived on a Sunday and the only thing available to eat was the 7-11 which has decent food compared to 7-11's in the rest of the world but it's still a 7-11...

It's nice to have a public bath in the hotel and the breakfast buffet is tasty and very filling. The rooms are clean and pretty spacious. For the price, this will be our go to place whenever we visit Itami.

Good simple hotel at Itami airport

Simple and functional hotel, good due to proximity to airport. Some eating options on a 10-15 min range. It is a bit dated but good . Kettle hair drier available along with a tooth brush . Shower power was good , wifi was a bit tricky, there is a LAN cable but only for the ones using a laptop with LANnport, A public bath on ground floor along with a restaurant.

Hotel staff was nice but I booked a non smoking room and it absolutely reeked of smoke especially in the morning, it was so bad my nose started to hurt. Therefore I give it a low rating. I don't recommend if you have any smoke allergies from tabaco.

Being in walking distance to the airport is a definite plus. The room was small but clean and organized. I thought I read that the staff were multilingual; However, it was challenging to communicate in English, once I arrived. The staff put forth a great effort by using translation devices, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the breakfast each morning. I recommend the hotel.

All rooms are smoking rooms, except for a few on the executive floor. We had non smoking executive rooms, but they were still VERY smoky smelling.
Very close to the airport and a 7-11…so if you are a smoker looking for a room for 1 night, this might be for you.

Near to Itami airport, this hotel offers so many great amenities and superb breakfast buffet meals. I enjoyed public bath and wide variety of options at the vending machines. This hotel is located right across from 7-eleven, so it is very convenient with a free shuttle ride! My room was very comfortable that provided beyond basic needs.

The free shuttle bus that came and picked us up from the airport as soon as we called them was fabulous.
The room was perfect for our family of four, as it was spacious and we couldn’t hear the planes. The mineral salts public bath and sauna was a real treat.

Very convenient if you are passing through Osaka and have a long layover. There is a restaurant on the premises and one across the street. There is a 7-11 across the street that has an atm. My only issue was that the Wi-Fi encryption method was so old my laptop wouldn’t connect to the network. I had to use my phone as a hotspot.

Shuttle convenient although a bit just for 7:00 flight as it departs at 6 and parks not so close to entrance.
Price rather high
Not far from metro station (easy walk) and actually not far from center of life, restaurant, shops. About 30 minutes (holiday night) from the center of Osaka (problem have to use 2 different metro lines, so long walk, easy to get lost and separate metro ticket because different company!)

I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Itami Airport. However, coming and going, the shuttle was hard to use: first, because its temporary (I hope) location at the airport had no shelter from the element; second, because the shuttle schedule is infrequent and inflexible. My room was ok, but dominated by a massage barcalounger.
Staff was nice, but a bit punctilious.

Very close to Itami Airport and very convenient to catch an early morning flight. Staff is nice and good hotel for the price. I also like the public bath. It was not too big but decent and clean. Two negatives are my room was non-smoking, but the other room in the same floor was probably smoking room. So I smelled the smoke while I am at hallway. They also provide only one set of towel. I wish they have additional towel at public bath area. Due to my early morning flight, I could not use their restaurant, but looked like a nice place. I wish I could use.

Location is excellent. There is a free (included in room price) shuttle to the terminal, and it takes less than 10 minutes. Shuttles start at 6AM, and leave every 30min. Check-in is 3PM. We checked-in earlier, and had to give our passports to be photocopied. The reception staff stowed our suitcases until 3PM at which time they delivered them to our room. We went out, obtained the room key upon our return (after 3PM) and our luggage was waiting in our room for us.

The condition of the room is average at best, with dated facilities, and the inside of the room seemed just a little on the dirty side. The shower was clunky to use, and amenities average.

I'd stay again if I had another early morning flight in order to avoid using public transport, but otherwise, I'd stay elsewhere.

Basic, no-frills stay for convenience

We chose the hotel for a one night stay to catch an early flight the next morning. The hotel is quite dated, but has the requisite facilities and amenities for a decent night’s rest. The restaurant serves reasonably-priced home-style food like omelette rice. It also has a public bath which my husband and sons visited but not me. Bring your own towels from the room or grab from the stack available at the lift lobby of each floor. There’s a large 7-Eleven just opposite and a family restaurant a stone’s throw away. While the hotel is a short walk from Itami airport, those with bulky luggage can call the hotel to arrange for transport via mini-van which can be activated in 10 minutes.

Stayed here for 1 night as we had an early flight the next day. It easy to get to from central Osaka. The monorail stops at the airport and it is a 7 min walk (with luggage) to the hotel. The hotel offers a free shuttle service if you don't want to walk. You can see the hotel from the North entrance/exit of the airport. Hotel has everything you need and the rooms are large. Take a walk up the street and there are a few different places to eat and there is a supermarket and a 7 Eleven store. We ate at the steak House across the street. Good food. Comfortable. Good service.

Really nice and handy hotel for Itami Airport

A small typhoon meant that we had to leave Kyoto via Itami airport rather than Kansai, and on one of the first flights of the day too. Electing to stay at Itami overnight, we booked this hotel online though Hotels.com with no problems. It's highly visible and located only a 15 minute walk from the North terminal where the bus from Kyoto dropped us. The receptionists were waiting for us at the desk with all our paperwork prepared. The room was one of the largest we've had in Japan and was just as you'd expect from a modern airport hotel. We didn't try the hotel's bath house or restaurant, electing to stick with the en-suite facilities, and a steak house over the road respectively. It was a perfectly pleasant stay and if I was flying from Itami again I would look for this hotel first, without question.

Very disappointing

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. We paid more than $150 for a room above standard and the rooms are tired and old. There was a weird massage chair in the room which took up valuable space. Breakfast was ok. Another negative was service. When I mentioned that the room was not as expected to the front desk, the guy who seems to be the only that speaks English was very dismissive. Not usual in Japan.

BEST Itami Airport hotel

Conveniently located near Itami Airport with free shuttle service. Check out is 11AM instead of the usual 10AM which is nice for late sleepers/slow starters. Great breakfast buffet with Japanese/Western mix of foods: Eggs, ham, sausage, pancakes, potatoes with onions, breads, salad bar, yogurt, cereal, fruit, rice, curry, miso soup, dashi omelet, salmon, horse mackerel, natto, oden, green tea, black tea, juice, milk, and various coffees. Single Queen room adequately sized for solo traveler. Comfortable bed with room Heater/AC unit to adjust room temperature to own comfort. Very clean room/bathroom. Excellent customer service. Free Western/Japanese bath robes for sleeping/post bathing. Small hot springs with sauna and cold water tub with security code access for women. Fairly quiet; can hear people talking a bit in the hallway or adjacent rooms sometimes, but not often and not for long periods of time. If using ear plugs, sounds disappear completely. Non-smoking rooms a PLUS! Microwave and food/drink vending machines located on 1st floor near hot springs. Also a coin laundry on 1st floor. If hungry, there is a convenience store directly across the street and a restaurant and supermarket nearby. All of this for a VERY affordable price. My room was about ¥8,000 with taxes plus ¥1,100 for optional breakfast buffet. Have had more expensive hotels in U.S. that can't even compare to the facilities and services of this hotel. Overall GREAT experience and would definitely come back!!

Hotel is super close to the airport. It only takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the airport, and the free shuttle service starts at 6am. We stayed on 1/2 where a lot of shops were closed due to new year. However, there's a steak restaurant and a 7-11 across the street that remained open. The room we stayed at was clean and comfortable overall.

Nice hotel in easy walking distance of Osama airport (also has a free shuttle bus). I had a good sized clean room with all expected accessories so no issues there. The convenience store over the road for supplies was useful too. The only min or issue was they the don't have printing facilities (for the boarding pass home) but that would not stop me returning.

Great Hotel Beside Osaka Itami Airport

My wife and I used the hotel for an overnight stay en-route home. It is well located and you can literally walk to it in minutes from Osaka Itami south terminal building. The hotel does run a free shuttle to the airport on a fixed schedule. It would have been useful if the hotel offered shuttle pick-ups from the north and south terminal buildings but there was no easy way to contact them to see if this was possible or available. Even though the hotel is right beside the airport, an eight minute walk away (see picture of airport taken from room 403 below), we did not hear any aircraft noise when sleeping. The staff were very friendly and helpful but spoke very little English. All in all, I would heartily recommend this hotel.

Pillow was kind of hard, but everything else was great. Free airport shuttle - the information desk in the airport will call for you if your phone doesn't work.

Toiletries include toothbrush/paste, razor, soaps, shampoo, but no hand/body lotion. Light bathrobes (yukata) available, though not shown in hotel description.

Very good breakfast, Japanese and Western choices.

Overall good hotel , 5 min walk from airport. Room is simple , clean bed and bathroom. Massage chair is an extra perk to relax you after a long flight. Could be a bit noisy if ambulance or motocycle are passing during night , but overall I would recommend this hotel. I stayed for one night.

We stayed in a spacious room on the 8th floor with 2 double beds and a nice bath and more than adequate space. The staff picked up our luggage from the airport and stored it until check-in time. The Japanese style spa bath was also wonderful, although pls. note is only open until 10 pm.
