A few peaceful nights

Good location, very near to Shin Osaka train station. There are a few convenience stores and restaurants nearby. A very big life supermarket just 5 mins walk away. Breakfast was very good. Room is quite small but overall, value for money. Will not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.

Excellent hotel, great value for money, we stayed in Deluxe Twin room that was spacious, very clean and convenient to stay. Comfortable beds and good noise isolation. Close to shin Osaka station. Will definitely stay again.
Breakfast choices were slightly limited still enough for a light meal.
Complementary soba was offered in the eve hours.

This hotel was great for our family trip. It was a good size, a clean functional room and the hotel was an easy walk to a great station that had the train lines to get to most of Osaka and had some cool little food options close by. There is also a full size supermarket about 5 mins walk which we used to buy all our take home goodies.

The walk from the JR station wasn't very short. We stayed in a three-bedroom room for four nights with a small child and didn't like that there was a smoking room in the building. The room was smaller than expected, with insufficient space to open our luggage.

Pretty nice spot near Shin-Osaka station, good if you’re going to other cities especially. The walk from Shin-Osaka to the hotel is about 10 mins or so, with lift access so pretty doable. Not much within the neighbourhood beyond the typical small eateries and convenience stores. Small selection but pretty delicious and nutritious and a simple free bowl of soba for supper. The onsen is suffice, didn’t have more than 4 pax on a weekday.

The 24 hours front desk is helpful with weighing our luggage and the luggage forwarding service. The free soba, tea and water during 9-11pm was a nice touch, though I wished the soba station opened until 11:30pm haha. Free ice bars by the vending machines! It's about 7 minutes walk to Shin-Osaka station, so it's quite convenient for Shinkansen, as well as getting to Umeda and Namba. There is a couple restaurants and a Lawson within 3 minutes walk.

The building itself is nicely furnished, the room and bed is comfortable and the washroom is clean. Though the room is very tight and small for a 3 people room. It was not possible for all of us to open our luggage at the same time; the space by the door is the only area that's big enough to have one large luggage open, so we had to take turn packing. It's something for people with multiple large luggage to be mindful of. The shower, toilet and sink are all in the same bathroom so we do need to take turns using it (some of the hotels we stayed at had separate shower and toilet/sink). There is a public bath area on the 2nd floor with a washroom stall, so for people who don't mind the public bath, it is an option.

There are unfortunately ONLY two washing machines combined with dryers, and the closest laundromat is 10 min walk, so it's very inconvenient especially when other users don't remove their clothing right after drying. The dryer is also very slow to dry. I don't recommend staying here if you need to do laundry.

Very nice hotel that was near the Shin-Osaka station and places to eat. Smaller than typical American style hotel rooms, but that was anticipated. Everything was clean and appreciated the amenities. What we really liked was the breakfast buffet and free soba at night! Food was really good and affordable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated that they could hold our luggage before and after we checked out.

We picked this hotel because it was a 10 min walk from the train station. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly even though they spoke little English. We payed a little extra to have the Japanese breakfast each morning which was convenient prior to starting our travels each day. The only thing I wish the breakfast had was fruit. The rooms were a little small but didn’t matter since we were only in the room to sleep. I enjoyed the extra towels each day the hotel provided. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Mediocre experience for Japan

The room was neat, but carpets were filthy. Stains on carpet when you first enter the room. While walking in room, long brown hairs were sticking to my socks. Clearly, carpets were not vacuumed prior to checking in. Walls seemed really thin since I can hear neighboring rooms hanging their clothes on the metal rack. Housekeepers were pleasant and greeting at every encounter. However, this was not the case with (mostly the male) front desk staff who unwelcoming stared at you without saying a word. Most of the female front staff greeted you upon entry. Would recommend other hotels with pleasant staff and nearer location to train station.

The breakfast buffet was superb although it was a long wait on one of the days for a table. The staff were very polite and nice but communication was a bit difficult as their English was not good and we couldn’t speak Japanese. Onsen was great. Location was ok, 15 mins walk to the Shin Osaka station. I love the aesthetics of this chain of hotels. Kudos to the designers. Will recommend and will be back. Well done

Good Hotel. Fairly Close to a main train station that has JR lines and can take you around the city. about 30-40 minutes from all the nightlife areas.

Food at the hotel is great! Breakfast buffet is delicious and they have free soba from 9pm - 11pm. They also have a nice public bath on the 2nd floor.
Room was small but that was to be expected in Japan. other dining options are limited but there is a delicious ramen place on the same street that is quite popular.

Overall I would recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Androoms. Had all the basics available with attentive staff who spoke some English, breakfast was an extensive Japanese style buffet and they had a nightly free soba dining experience from 9-11pm which was great. The public baths were also quite spacious and well maintained, with free ice blocks for afterwards. Rooms were on the smaller side (not unexpected for Japanese hotels) but overall manageable. Walking distance to Shin-Osaka train station. Overall would definitely stay again!

Only minutes walk (above ground) from Shin-Osaka station. Good launching pad to surrounding cities as this is a Shinkansen station. Also this station is a stop for express train to Kansai airport (the other popular alternative is limousine bus but from Osaka station which has major shopping malls). This hotel serves very good Japanese breakfast. Make sure you include b/fast to your stay. Highly recommended.

It was close to the Shin-Osaka station and easy to walk to. However, the first time it may be a little difficult to find but after that, it was no problem. It doesn't have a computer for you to use in case you need one for either business or checking in at the airport. You need to either bring your own computer or use your phone (they do have wi fi).

Clean, modern hotel close to Train station

Very modern, clean hotel. The location to Shin-Osaka is very quick and convenient from exit 4. The beds were very hard. Typical small, Japan style room but the hotel was very nicely designed. The hotel staff was kind and spoke pretty good English. I was very impressed that there were some female friendly features.

The staff were terrible. I requested an item from the front desk and they said I needed to go downstairs to get it rather than bringing it up. As I was not dressed and needed the item to be presentable, that would have defeated the purpose of asking for it. They then hung up on me. On other occasions, interacting with them has been unnecessarily painful and tedious.

LOVED the hotel, the staff, the free soba, etc... BUT we didn't love the other guests.

It was the first time in Japan that the public bath was such an unpleasant experience with a group of ladies yelling at each other (they were actually talking but very loudly), another lady deciding to go into the bath without showering (using her clothes, she simply put the feet into the bath), or kids playing louddly in the elevators.
The smoking room has clear glasses, so the kids would stamp their faces to the glass to see inside...

We gave a second chance on the second day almost at midnight, and it was better.

I don't think we will come back to this hotel due to that experience.

This hotel went above and beyond our expectations, it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly, the facilities and the restaurant were amazing also. The location worked perfectly for us traveling in and out of Osaka on the Shinkansen and then using the subway to get into the centre of Osaka. Highly recommend!

My secret quality and reasonable hotel

The hotel is located on north exit of Shin Osaka Station. From North Exit the hotel is only about 3 blocks walk. Get to know of layout of SOS.
Use google map to find the hotel. It is very easy to find.
Other the location finding, the hotel is excellent in every way. It is very clean and more roomy and have full bath room with large tub. Also it has onsen on 2nd floor for guess use only. You can use their room telephone as cellular and it is free call. The meals are excellent and staff is very helpful. All access has modern security feature: requires touch room key to enter elevator and room.

Wonderful Hotel

We booked through hotels.com and was told the room would have two beds and a pull out couch on our confirmation. When we arrived the room was VERY tiny and had 3 beds. Was not what we thought we would get. I believe it was hotel.com error. But the staff at the hotel ended up accommodating us. The hotel is very clean, the bath was wonderful and the soba noodles were delicious. Thank you Hotel androoms.

Modern hotel with nice touches.

Convenient location, we wanted to be close to the Shin-Osaka JR station and the hotel was about 10 min walking distance away. Staff were helpful and could speak English well. The hotel is new, so modern and clean. We enjoyed the free udon supper provided at night and the public bath/onsen which we found, set it apart from other hotels. The hotel also provided free handphones loaded with google maps which you can use outside the hotel, very helpful. We would stay again!

Pleasantly surprised with the \"boutique hotel\" design, the relaxing \"Sento,\" as opposed to a \"onsen,\" and the wonderful complimentary hot soba. Plan to have at least one breakfast buffet in their restaurant. The front desk staff also doubled knowledgeably as the hotel concierge. A short walk to Shin-Osaka (JR and Osaka Metro Rails). Perhaps the most friendly and accommodating hotel staff to-date, we had the pleasure of experiencing.

We chose hotel androoms mainly because of its close proximity to Shin-Osaka Station. We were very pleased by the modern and new aesthetic, and the room is compact but has everything you need. Thanks to the staff and for the evening soba snack, as well!

I liked the cleanliness and room design which was modern and comforting though the pillow was kind of hard. Breakfast was of good standard. However, it got kind of boring as the same spread was served daily during my 4 night stay. That aside, I would definitely consider staying at hotel androoms on my next visit to Japan :)

An over-rated hotel

Over-priced for a room charged more than HKD1800 per night at non peak season. It’s not centrally located, far from the shopping areas or famous spots. When arrived at 11pm, the few restaurants in the neighbourhood were all closed, and no food in the hotel. And the check-in staff was rather unfriendly. The hotel set the check out time as 10am which is rather early than usual. When asking the other staff for allowance of late checkout, he was also unfriendly, simply said they will charge us 1000yens per hour.

Rooms are a bit small but clean and well appointed. Furniture is thoughtful and for sleeping it was perfect and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located several minutes walk from Shin-Osaka station (access to bullet train) and the bath was a great plus. Highly recommend it and will go back especially at the rate I booked at.
