The rooms were quite small for a twin room but still good. many room amenities were supplied, and near the concierge, they had single-use skincare and grooming sets for guests to take. the hotel was very clean and had two working lifts. each floor has a vending machine and microwave. the area is nice but, maybe for just us, a bit loud at night. The connections are great, you can take the midosuji (red) line at nishinakajima-minamigata station, and you have a direct connection to Osaka station and Kyoto with the hankyu railway. the hankyu railway station is called minamikata and is about 3 mins away from the nishinakajima-minamigata station. The hotel is about 15/20 mins away from Shin-Osaka station, the station you will need if you want to ride the shinkansen (bullet train) so this is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel for short to medium length stays.

I stayed one night in October 2025 in a twin room for two guests.

Location: Excellent
The hotel's location is outstanding. It's less than 10 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station ticket gates if you don't get lost, with virtually no steps from the station's first floor. It's also under 5 minutes from Subway Shin-Osaka Station's south exit.

Room Size: Be Prepared for Compact Spaces
However, be prepared for very limited space. While the room itself is small, the bathroom is particularly cramped—even smaller than what you'd find at major Japanese business hotel chains known for their compact rooms. Travelers with large suitcases or guests of larger stature should take special note of this.

Facilities & Comfort: Good Value Updates
Though some areas show their age, the hotel appears to have undergone several renovations, with notably improved exterior and interior finishes. The in-room air conditioning is modern, and there are convenient power outlets at bedside along with perfect spots for placing smartphones and watches. The mattress felt fresh, and two different pillow types were provided for optimal comfort. I slept very well.

Overall Assessment:
For travelers who can tolerate compact accommodations, this hotel offers good value considering its competitive pricing and prime location. It's a solid choice for budget-conscious guests prioritizing convenience over space.

Stained sheets, black mold in the fridge. Bathrooms are incredibly small and uncomfortable, staff speaks extremely limited english and made a couple interactions difficult. Noisy at night. Decent access to transit, good nearby restaurants. Most of the room did seem clean.

Pictures did not match the ones listed online. Dust all over parts of the room and there was excessive mold in the bathroom. The fridge was not emptied and had things from the previous guest. The only good thing was the convenience of it being near the station but cleanliness was one of the worst I have seen in a hotel.

Very good location just next to Shin-Osaka station, therefore giving us a convenient option to ease our planning for the trip. Breakfast buffet is optional, and good value for the money, tho a bit more variety of the dishes would improve this to Excellent scale. Rooms are tend to be the smaller side, even to Japanese hotel standard, so if you’re on slightly larger side of individual, you may want to consider bigger option than the standard room. Overall it was good experience

I found it annoying that there were no chopsticks or cuttlery available in the hotel and most of all that the shower head was not mounted properly so you have to shower with one arm holding the shower. Other than that the room was cozy and quite spacious for one person.

We mistakenly missed to add 1 day to our stay and had to book separately. Once booked they advised us the only room available was a smoking room. We were not happy as we aren’t smokers but agreed instead of staying in the streets for the night. I had never stayed in smoking rooms and this review may be biased but the room and the whole floor at best reeked of smoke (this I understand, it’s a smoking room!) however once inside the condition of the room was so filthy. There were dust everywhere, brown/amber (maybe tar?) all over the window seal and walls. The wall paper falling apart. We paid $172 USD for this night and it was below motel quality.
Im surprised that for the cost of a room between $130-$172 per night that there is mold in the rooms. To be fair they do give you an air purifier/humidifier but I’m not sure it takes away from the actual mold growing on the walls. The bathrooms are made of fiberglass and have chipping in most areas such as the tub and sink. We took photos and asked the concierge if it was normal? He offered a different room but the other two rooms offered were in worst condition with even random hairs on the bed and bathroom walls. They do try to be eco friendly and will clean after your stay but I’m not sure what type of cleaning is done. Definitely not deep cleaning and those smoking rooms may need it more than any other. Pros: walking distance to the Osaka station.

So the rooms are seriously small (we got the standard twin beds (2) room which is apparently the second largest), even for my experience staying in Japanese hotels. It’s hard if you have a lot of luggage, etc., because there’s nowhere in the room to fit it. But the staff was very kind so that made up for it and we had a fantastic stay overall- the laundry machines were easy to use and the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Additionally, it is very close to the subway station which is always a plus!

Good Hotel to Stay

We enjoyed our stay here. It comes with a daily breakfast which is very convenient. Staff are very friendly. Within the walking distance of the Shin-Osaka Station and Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station which brings you to Dotonbori and Donbori and Kuromon Market. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Shin Osaka

Prime Location, Small Room, Great for Short Stays

My friend and I stayed in a \"Standard Twin Room\" for two nights.

The staff was great, I was checking in with my low level Japanese but it turned out the man there spoke excellent English.

The room was quite small and the bathroom also, it was barely enough for both of us. It's good for a short stay as the price is affordable and it is very close to the Shin-Osaka station.

4 rooms booked, 3 of which had black mould in the creases of the walls and around the windows, ventilation in the bathroom also did not work. Bathroom ceiling height was very low if you are 6ft or above you will touch the top of the ceiling with your head and will have to crouch/bend whilst showering.

Good location. We were able to travel to a lot of stations comfortably from here after we got used to the trainstation using the JR pass.
Like that the staff always said good morning and goodnight to us it made us feel that they always kept an eye on us. Being foreigners sometimes we got lost lol
The room itself was really tight for 2 people moving around and with 2 large suitcases but we made it work.
Comfy bed, liked the head board as you could put your phone there and the mood lighting bed light, perfect for sensitive eyes.
Being in Tokyo now i miss the ease of shin osaka station.
Thank You for having us we enjoyed our stay!

Close to Shin Osaka station. The room is small but efficient. Good WiFi. Helpful staff. Overall, a very good value.
Note: You can walk to the station, but you'll need to ascend and descend stairs at a pedestrian overpass. It's not a big problem unless you have many large pieces of luggage or have difficulty climbing stairs.

ベッドメイキングは完璧でした。隣や上の階の排水の音がめちゃくちゃ聞こえ、眠れないのと外の声、隣の声丸聞こえでした。
もう少し防音の配慮をして欲しいです。パジャマもありましたが、ヨレヨレでした。もし火災などあると逃げる時白は透けるので出来れば色付きのにして欲しい。掃除に関しては椅子を引いたら絨毯の角がホコリだらけでした。そこまで神経質ではないので気にはなりませんでした。
値段が手頃とはいえ、リピートは難しいです。

荷物を預ける時の男性2名の対応ですが、やる気がないのかテキパキ話さないし行動も遅いし大丈夫なのかなという印象。立ち方やシャツの着方などだらしなさも多々。わたしも接客業なのでとても気になりました。お部屋は綺麗でしたがお風呂の換気扇がどこだかわからずずっと湿気ていました。廊下の話し声や隣の部屋のトイレの流す音などは丸聞こえです。値段重視で探していたので多々ありますが相応かなという感想です。

スタッフの方の対応も丁寧で良かったです。
客室の位置の問題なのか、配管設備の問題なのか、水が流れるような音が定期的に聞こえるのが気になりました。
夜中が特に長く、15〜20分ほど続いたため、少々寝にくさはありました。

初めての大阪でした。
SPARTAN RACE の為に前泊で使わせて頂きました。
部屋がとても清潔だったことと、ランドリーの洗濯乾燥機が4桁暗証番号設定タイプで長時間離れていても安心なのが良かったです。
大阪に旅行する時はまた使わせて頂きます。

入室してすぐ綿埃が目につきました。
部屋の中は埃っぽく、荷解きしている間放置していたスマートフォンにうっすら積もるほどでした。テレビ周りも汚い。
空気清浄機の加湿タンクのカビ、冷蔵庫・ポットの古さ、壁も薄く、隣の部屋の音や朝廊下で従業員の方が話す声もうるさく、長期滞在が苦痛でした。今回は安さ重視だったため耐えましたが二度と行きません。
強いて言えばトイレの水圧と電子レンジが2階ごとにあるところが良かったです。

清潔感がだいぶ欠けていました。
壁紙のはがれ、洗面台は欠けていて、排水溝にも泥のようなものが付着してゴキブリが通れそうでした。
イスや湯沸かしポットなど埃だらけ、前の客がこぼしたであろうメイク用品のパウダーがこびりついて清掃をし忘れたのではないか？と思うほどでした。あまりくつろげら環境ではなくトータルして次はない感じです。残念です。
